You have no idea how happy I was to stumble across this fic. I’ve been searching for well written fics on Ichigo and Ishida, and have been sorely disappointed until now. This piece was wonderful, and I was skeptical at first since my idea of doing this couple justice is a long fic with 30 chapters and 200,000 words.

In a one-shot, you managed to capture far more than I thought possible. Now I’m off to read the sequel!

I read this on MM and thought it was fantastic so I had to come review it on here! I've read the whole series now but I think this was the best story in the series. Great job, I really enjoyed reading this.

Could you write more? Please?

This story was of such a literary caliber, that I found myself thinking about it long after I had finished reading it. I hope you realize all the compliments and flattery that you should take from that. This wasn't 'just some fic', it genuinely means something. I received a very intelligent review once, that is my current favorite, it went something like this, 'there is a great 'pop' at the end, and the reader thinks 'oh they so got it!'. In ficdom, occasionaly you come a across an author that really gets 'it', they write a story so real to both the fanfic-reader and the universe it was inspired by that it could very well be apart of that universe. But then, at the end, they deliver something that takes the fic from great to glorious. There's something there, some big thing that makes the reader go "Wow...they really get it." Like getting hit in the head with a deeper understanding of something that seems so elegantly obvious.
Thank you for 'getting it'.
And thank you for 'sharing it'.

I have to say this much. You've come a long, long way since Camaro first introduced me to your stories. This story definitely has a very mature, very sophisticated feel to it. I can't say whether I really liked it or not.

It was like a beautiful train wreck.

I just couldn't look away.

It's got great characterization in it, and I appreciate how you write Ishida. He's a very strong character, much like his father, ne? Anyway, the description in the story was exquisite along with your dialog. All in all, I'd say this is definitely your best work yet.

Can't wait to see more from you of this caliber.

Yeah, I did assume last time that you posted that you were the dumb harrasser. I like honest feedback but this bozo was getting on my nerves. Who knows, maybe I have more than one.
Anyway, yaoi every now and then is pretty intense for me. The whole M/M thing carries more intensity by definition than the M/F thing bc of cultural expectations and identity issues. That, I've only written about insane villains going at it in supernatural ways or these two teens going at it with a very desolate apocalyptic backdrop.

I need to attempt the fluff yaoi form, mebbe.
