Aw, I'm sad that I won't be seeing any updates for a while! But it's totally understandable; I get back to school in a week as well O_o
You know, I was kind of wondering if that was where you were going with Kaien (having him be Kaien Shiba's reincarnation), since he looks like him and the first zanpakuto he touched was Nejibana...cool. When they go to Soul Society, are you thinking of having any interactions between him and Kuukaku and Ganju? That would be interesting, in my mind. Oooh, and here's a crazy pairing, since we're on the subject of Kuukaku...how about Zaraki? It makes sense to me, in an eerie way - but then again, I love crack. Anyway, the love scene was sweet and emotional and sexy as usual, so I was happy. You really do have a talent for those as well, capturing the feelings between two people in love as they consummate it.
And don't worry, I completely trust on the subject of Kaien - though I'm taking you up on your offer to call you out, should the need arise. None of your OCs have really shown any inclination towards Mary Sue/Gary Stu, so...keep up the good work!

Chapter 12: sorry it took awhile for me to R&R, there is just way too much going on this time of year for me to be able to read, even if it is wonderful fanfiction like your stories. I thought that this was another great chapter (lol, I can't seem to say that enough) and it expanded a dimension that you had kind of touched on previously, but only really brought out (i think) in this chapter. That is, the views that your characters have of themselves and their powers coupled with their fears of rejection when they compare them to the norm. Each character is very unique and different, which makes them interesting and really piques my interest in their development, and when they themselves become aware of it, there is always that fear of how others might think of them (how having hollow powers would be something that would definitely be something rejected by Soul Society). I think that you resolved their fears nicely and everything else was very enjoyable and entertaining, I can't wait to read the other chapters now!

Thank you for taking my thoughts into consideration. I suppose I can wait for the next update... Finally Kin and Kaien got to know each other... in the biblical sense. I hope for more excellent writing in the future! More fight scenes! More "passionate" scenes! More HitsuMatsu! If you don't mind of course. Bon voyage! JHH

I positively LOVE your stories - Like others I created an account just to review it - The recent battle between Asuka and Kin versus Kaien was magnificent!

Hello again. I wrote you a review of "What The Eyes Can't See", so be sure to check that out and maybe consider my request/plea...
Anyway, onto the latest chapter of "A New Window"...
I'm loving this chapter as well. The dinner scene played out nice, as well as the way you introduced the "present" Ichigo (and Urahara, that sneaky bastard... :D ) had planned.
As for the fight scene, wow... Once again it was extremely detailed and brought you right into the action and kept you there. The visuals were well laid out and the recovery scenes were done well also. They way Kin reacted to hearing about how Kaien had to act during the fight, it came across as realistic and believable.
As usual, it didn't disappoint and I look forward to the next chapter(s).
P.S. I also added you on MSN, so maybe I'll see you around...

I recognized the names you used for Sado and Orihime's other kids, but if I take credit for it where credit isn't due, I'll feel like an ass. Therefore, I shall wait for feedback to my feedback. Oh and if you need a new quick pairing, I thought of Ikkaku/Kiyone. I figured it would be... interesting. I'll be waiting for more stories from you. And if you need more suggestions, I'm your huckleberry.

Quick question, when you were thinking of techniques for Kaien, were you thinking a little bit about Aaroniero's Glotoneria? Personally, I like Kaien's ability better. No Hollow Octopus or creepy joint-mind. I wish that Kin and Kaien could just get along... without major injury. You know the saying. It's all fun and games until someone nearly asphixiates on their own blood. Wait, that's not it at all! It'd be nice to get some more, you know, "passionate", scenes. All your character pairings are great. I'd even be interested in Jinta/Yuzu. It's a bit like blowfish, if prepared properly, it's spectacular. If not, painful death. But I trust you. Not with my life, though. I don't know you that well. Keep up the good work! JHH

Sorry, forgot to say this. More HitsuMatsu, if you can. Ukitake/Unohana would be interesting as well. Their love life must've really picked up when he had his TB treated. Nothing ruins the moment like a mouthful of blood and 20 minutes of hacking. Kills the mood.

Poor Kin and Kaien. It seems like every time they're together, there's either a fight or someone has to run away XD I can only imagine the frustration. The idea of a houseful of Shinigami, Shinigami/Arrancar, and OTHER ridiculously powerful children scares the crap out of me. It's a good thing that Ichigo and Tatsuki are the King and Queen, because their children are truly frightening! Yet another well-written fight scene, I'm very happy! It was nice to see that Kaien can be thrashed a little bit, even though he was holding back. My only concern is you making him TOO powerful, because that's when an OC becomes a Gary Stu/Mary Sue - not that I'm saying Kaien is one, not at all! Anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter!

They guy on FanFiction.net, thats me. I feel that Tatsuki is an under used character(same with the Ichigo/Tatsuki pairing)in the Manga/Anime and in the Fan Fic world, so I figured I'd add what I could with my lackluster writing skills.
Before I continue, like an idiot I didn't really notice at first that this was a continuation of a previous story and I just got done reading "What The Eyes Can't See". I read it all, in one night. Frankly, it was awesome and makes things in this story make more sense.
Anyway, onto the latest chapter of "A New Window"...
As usual this chapter didn't disappoint, and the big "surprise" was done well. I read this chapter before I read the first story, so it was a weird surprise for me, but after reading everything again it all makes sense.
Also, using a zanpaktou to re-heat a meal, thats just brilliant...
