This is *very* good. Like you'd mentioned previously, people find it hard to take to OCs. However, you've done an amazing job of integrating them into the world you've developed, and an even better job humanizing them.

That is a rather interesting ability, it reminds me of Archer's Unlimited Blade Works: Infinite Creation of Swords from Fate/Stay Night. I liked the last three chapters, but I was a little concerned last chapter because I kinda felt that Kaien was acting a little more like a Super Saiyan than a Shinigami. But my fears were misplaced I am sorry I ever doubted you, I love your stories and I check fairly often for new updates. Keep up the good work.

Haha yay, all's resolved with Kin and Kaien. I really must applaud you on your ability to come up with different fighting styles and techniques - they're very different and very unique. I for one, wouldn't have thought of making someone into a zanpakuto's spirit. I can't wait to see more of Kaien's abilities...and Kin's too! And I loved the Asuka/Souken bit at the end. I'm so happy that you've decided to continue, and I can't wait for the next chapter.
