So Kaien FINALLY landed in the Shiba household! I'm excited to see where this goes...I'm particularly intrigued by the identity of the father of Kuukaku's child, but perhaps I wouldn't have to guess too hard, would I? :D Nice use of "Kuu-chan" too, by the way...
Another excellent chapter! The Tsukiyomi/Sora stuff was cute and I loved the Masaki/Byakuya hints...

Another great chapter!!
I'm glad that no actions are going to be taken against Nemu and that the old man seems to be on Ichigo's side on this. I can't wait for the Sora/Tsuki relationship to flesh out some more. There were even some subtle Ichigo/Tatsuki hints in there, I'm glad my favorite pairing is still getting some air time...
I wonder who the Shiba's are going to handle the reincarnation of their brother and who knocked Kuu-chan (she'd kill anyone who called her that) up??
I can't wait for more!!! I have some idea's I'd like to run by you so I'll catch you on MSN some time or shoot you an email.

This has been, and I hope continues to be, an awesome, moving, and wonderfully detailed story from the beginning in 'What the Eyes Can't See'. The characters feel real, and you put together plots and suspense and action and silliness in a way that sucks me in and doesn't let go even when I know there are other things to be done*laughs*. Hope the story keeps coming to you, and that writing never becomes a chore for you.

(Sigh)Niiiiiccceee. Making Sora Tsuki's healing factor was sweet. I had hoped when I read of the second Ishida child, since they were both male, one would be a match for one of Ichigo's kids. It fits since Hime was once in love with Ichi that their children are destined to be togeter. Is the story gonna continue or skip later on to when they're of age to properly comsumate their relationship, and Masuki can pursue Byakuya? If that's where you're going of course. I can only pray. I would love to see these relationships blossom more. Oh please, PLEASE say you're gonna continue on with them and the little unknown Kurosaki. It might feel over drawn, but I'm sure it could be awesome!! Can't wait for the update.

Okay, so Chapter 20 - I loved reading Kin's thoughts at the beginning. You really seem to have a way of getting into people's minds and putting into words feelings that are incredibly hard to express, and that really gives so much heart to your writing. It's quite wonderful.
And wow, what a bomb at the end! You've written Mayuri really well - I was creeped out just by reading his dialogue. Excellent characterization!

Chapter 21 - wow, I almost feel like there's too much going on with this chapter! It's one hit after another, without any time to really absorb the first one. Also - I'm not sure how to explain this, but I'll try - I felt like the explanation of Kaien's power was a bit confusing - perhaps it was a little dense. You've given him a great and complicated power that I'm not sure I understand sometimes. However, that being said, this chapter was excellent. Again, the way you manage to not only identify emotions, but articulate them in a way that makes them almost tangible to the reader. I'm with you, I was getting quite teary at the end, and it has been quite a while since I've had that sort of reaction to a story. You really got me with Tsukiyomi and the third sister. I can't wait to see her relationship with Sora bloom!

OH MY GOD CHAPTER 21 WAS SO GOOOOOOOOOD! You outdid yourself this time, my friend! Emotional impact! Shocking revelations! Built-in cupholders! What more could a man ask for in his fanfiction? Like Mr. Jekyll in The Nightmare Before Christmas, I wish I had five smaller versions of myself under my hat so that we all could tip our hats to you! And hopefully, the sheer reviewitude of this review will give you the strength to persevere! Now go forth, and rattle AFF.net with the power of awesomeness! Hyaaaaaaaaagh!

Its currently 3:14 am, so I take no responsibility for spelling errors in this review...
I loved this chapter. I am glad that you got rid of Mayuri, I remember our MSN convo on that subject. I am also glad that Nemu was the one to do it, it brings some finality to that particular plot thread.
As for the Tsuki/Sora pairing, I like it. I hope to see more about that pairing. As for Tsuki's "completion" with the whole third sister thing, I liked that as well.
Ichigo was of course kicking ass, even if he did take a few hits every now and then. I look forward to the explanations and what not that come after everyone calms down, and the explanation to the old man as to why he now needs to find a new 12th division captain.
You truly are one of the best writers I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Keep the chapters coming!!

Don't call yourself pitiful for crying over this chapter.
This chapter is definitely one of the most brilliant and moving pieces of literature I've ever read in my entire life, it's far beyond anything I've ever read in a fanfiction, and it's actually the first piece of literature since 5 years ago that had me crying. (Sorry, I'm pretty tired right now, so excuse wierd spelling and stuff, I'm just writing as it comes to mind).
Your story (What The Eyes Can't See + A New Window) actually makes a good number of professional authors look like amateurs, truly a piece of art.
Okaaaaaay, right now I'm running out of words to describe my feelings, I'm just gonna leave it there for the next review.
Just a few more things: Beautifully written, No. 1 on my "Favorite Fanfic's List"; please don't ever stop writing, your just too damn good at it. You managed to make me an eternal fan of yours, and I don't admit sth. like that easily.
Looking forward to your next chapter.

No one else seems to be sticking up for ol' clown face, so I'll say this for him.
He was a monster, a sadistic maniac who tortured innocent people to death for no better reason than to sate his own curiosity. The world is better off without him, and I won't say he didn't deserve what he got. But, in the end, his loyalty was to Soul Society.
Plus, always keep in mind that he never did anything to anyone that he wasn't perfectly willing to do to himself, often on an even more grotesque scale.
Anyway, relatively long time reader, first time reviewer. I stumbled across this, read through all of the prequel, and finished this story all in a timeframe of about five days. And I have to say: not bad.
I actually like this story a little better than its predecessor, perhaps because of my obsessive Ichigo/Orihime shipping and firm belief that over-powering the main character takes all the fun out of a story. Take heart that I still enjoyed it, in spite of all that.
This one is a fine work, and its focus on new characters and adventures is quite refreshing, though some of the fights (NOT this one) tend to drag and follow an almost annoying "Hey. I'm bored. Wanna beat the crap outta one another?" "Yeah!" "Rock!" template.
My only other problem: for some reason, I always picture Asuka Jeagerjaques as a sort of blue-haired Asuka Langley. Guess I just don't have the visual imagination.
Anyway, good luck, and good writing.
