I can't see this as being filler. Filler is something you SUFFER through once, but I enjoyed this chapter immensely and will, in all probability, read it again at some point in the future. Even when you consider a piece of yours to be of poor quality, you are still the cream of the AFF crop. Keep up the great work! -JHH

Wow, this chapter was a barrage of information. It's needed though, if you want people to understand what's going on later. By the way...did I spot a bit of KuuKen in this chapter? Some of my influence, I hope? Hehehe.

Still loving this story!! I don't mind the "fillerish" content at all. You're such a damn good writer it all meshes together and makes the story flesh out even more. I like the explanation of how Tatsuki is able to go to SS, it fits right in with the canon stuff as well.

You were right about the angst. If Kaien keeps breaking mirrors like that, I doubt his luck is ever going to turn. I know you said you wanted to draw this story to a close soon, but I never caught how soon exactly. I'm not sure if this is a compliment exactly, but this is the only fanfic universe I'll honestly miss. I actually like your stories more than how the canon turns out, sometimes.

Man oh man... What's going to happen to the R and D Captain when Ichigo and the others all get together... I hope he gets his ass kicked by a few of them and Kaien needs more time to train his hollow so it doesn't go out of control too much... But if I was in his shoes I wouldn't know what to do if I had that kind of power and all of that darker part of me just waiting to get out and fight.... Hope you update soon

I can't wait to see how SS reacts and treats the Kurosaki family now that this little "incident" happened.

Also, the convo with Kin, Inouo, and the others was pure brilliance.

I'm glad to see another update! Thanks so much for the HitsuMatsu - that made me really happy. And I loved the fight between Kaien and Ukitake - you definitely proved Kaien's not a Gary Stu there. I would have been hard-pressed to believe that even someone as strong as Kaien could defeat someone like Ukitake on the first try. Are we going to get some Hollow!Kaien action in the next chapter!

Great update. I like the ending of the chapter when he was forced to copy two Zanpakto's that would be so much pain to take in. I hope what he heard was his mother trying to calm his inner Hollow before it got to far out of hand.. Loved the smut that you tossed in with Rukia/Renji, and Raqngiku/Toshiro. They were a great read. Hope you get time to write.
