This is an interesting pairing. I'm enjoying it. I also like the way you're blending both your stories into this lovely, sub-universe of your own making.

Orion, very very good chapter. Sonce I've read Different Circumstances, this is fun, I wanted to know what the Captains had said after Matumoto left the room. I'm a bit dissappoited that I couldn't hear more form the creepy captain (one with the mask on all the time) that expresed his jealousy of Zaraki.
Your writing this time was over explanatory at moments. I like to think about what the character means when the speak or think, not have the whole thing explained to me in run on sentences. A bit dissappointed...

I'm sorry to say that I agree with Catalyst on the overexplanatory bit. I do think that s/he could have given a softer delivery though. I believe in your writing prowess and if you wanted to write the chapter that way, I'm sure it's only setting you up for your next chapter. I wanted to know, After the Hell butterefly wakes Soi up for the meeting, who's nuts are she eating (pun intended for those who care). I also agree with you about the Ichi/Hime pairing, it's kinda played out, and it was too obvious a pairing in the series anyway. Fanficton was created to try to slightly spin what the creator had set in stone. Do you agree?

Ichigo's pairing in Tatsuki bothers me as well, but not as much as Orihime. Nanao is a good one...if he can' be with Rukia...Oh Well.
Great Update, I love the dynamic you created between Soi and Toshiro. This was a great update...keep it up. I can't wait to see what comes next for Soi and Toshiro.
