I was surprised at how much I liked this story. Usually the whole mystery other person theme is uninteresting to me, but you made it work. Your writing is excellent save for a few small grammatical errors which are of course not a big deal. This pairing has never occurred to me but it's actually not so implausible when presented like this. Thanks for the enjoyable read.
