Honestly, it almost doesn't matter when it comes to what's "really" happening in the manga or anywhere else. I've chosen my favorite stories, and I'll live in the worlds that are created there for as long as the pages last.

Hi! Don't know it you are still working on this story (I see that your last update was in 2010); but, I wanted to let you know that I am absolutely enthralled by the depth of your story and characterizations. I've been reading fan fiction for quite a while -- mostly Naruto, because I had a hard time warming up to the standard Bleach pairings. Checked in on Bleach on a whim and was blown away by the sophistication of the contributions, including yours. Stumbled on your story and read all the chapters straight through. I was very impressed by the way you developed the relationship between Gin & Toshiro in a "Stockholm Syndrome" situation. Your depiction of Gin rings crystal clear -- I've always thought of him as a trickster type -- not particularly good and not particularly evil -- more of a sly instigator who brings about change -- and you caught his humorous seductive voice so beautifully ( I especially loved the Othello chapter and Gin's musings on the parallels between his situation. Would love to see how this basically untenable relationship would play out once Toshiro is re-empowered with the return of his zanpaktou and Gin is a traitor to both the Shinigami & Aizen. Also really enjoyed the Grimm/Ulq pairing - didn't think I would, but you brought about a curious sensitivity in them -- especially in the "love/heart" sequence -- I like the way that you were able to maintain their basic manga/anime identities while "humanizing" them at the same time. Anyway, wanted to let you know that I think that you did a wonderful job with this story -- I know that I'll be re-reading it soon. Hope you see fit to continue it in the future!. Thanks! Jennifer

I'm re-reading this - again. And goddamnit, it gets better every time!!! This time I felt like I saw layers of them both that I hadn't noticed before, especially Ichimaru. That's a sign of really quality job if it can stand repetitive reading. If this was a book, I might have worn it thin and the cover ugly and the edges mushed, but it would still be my most treasured book. This time around, again, you've made me laugh and be surprised and felt, truly felt with them.
Since we know that Ichigo is trapped somewhere around Las Noches, I assume it's him, and possibly, hopefully, his frinds that they are going to find, set free and bring with them? I have this sinking feeling that shit is really going to hit the fan in a majorly not-good way. Aizen already knows, they wll all be tortured and die, I especially fear for Grimmjow and Ulquirra since they are not the mains. Aizen is even worse this time around as well. Everything is just.. clearer. More than ever I am looking forward to the next chapter! I don't care if it'll be here tomorrow, next month or next year. As long as it will come, I am exceptionally bad at updating, so you'd have to hold off for three years before I'd blame you for anything. And even then I'd probably just be happy that You had written thus far, because this really is one of my most favourite fics of all time.
I'm still amazed at how I really feel like I've gotten a layer closer on all of them. And certain scenes just stay with me, you nail them so good, both regarding feelings but also the more humoristic, yet true. This one was one of my favourites this time around:

"They lay there, facing each other, neither speaking and Ichimaru couldn’t help but chuckle slightly at how nervous Hitsugaya looked.

“Not a damn word.” The smaller hissed out through gritted teeth and Ichimaru held his hands up in mock surrender, his face almost splitting from his grin."

I can so clearly visualize it. Hahahhaa, one of the -check-words I had to write in order to review was 'reverence'. It's oddly poeticly fitting and describes my thoughts about you and this fic pretty well. God I'm getting cheesy, must be old age and sleeplessness creeping up on me. Oh well.

This is a great story. There's got to be millions of ginhistu fic where Shiro goes to Hueco Mundo, but hardly any authors can pull it off. What's great is that you did. Thanks so much for writing and pausing my perpetual boredom, and UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

Please write more!! I love this story and I can't wait for an update.

Fantastic. I could kiss you for continuing, I've missed this story sooo much. Now I feel like working on my own again XD.

I had given up hope. I couldn't have even guessed the reason behind your sabbatical. I'm glad you've decided to resume this story. One of the reasons I enjoy reading Fan Fiction so much, is because it's just that...FAN FICTION. I believe the writers can drive the plot in any direction they see fit. And with a plot as good as this one, (I've been reading this story since day one) it never mattered to me whether it followed canon or not. I'm just happy to be along for the ride. I just want you to know that I would like to find out how YOU feel this story should turn out. Thanks for all your hard work.
