I'm so happy! Another chapter, yeah and I just love the kind of easy friendship, you are describing in your story between Shuuhei and Zaraki. It's truly amazing, because I really think you managed to keep Kenpachi in character the whole time. Not an easy job. Looking forward to the rest:)

Isn't it often that our favourite characters are the more neglected ones? -sigh-
I love the mix of angst and humour in this. Most notably 'why a badass like kenpachi would wear bells' and Shuuhei's knitting abilities.
I find it fascinating to see Shuuhei learning to think for himself again. It strikes a chord because i often don't think about things until confronted with a problem.
I can't wait to see Kenpachi trying to meditate. That would be most amusing.
Please don't take too long writing the next part, if only for my sanity! I want to read more!!!!

just out of curiosity are you doing these as oneshots on FF.net? if so for some reason they're better here *grin* pro'lly cuz it's easier to read black on grey than white *grin* keep up the great work

Yay! An update. ^_^ So far, I like the direction this piece is going. The dialogue flows very well and I like your detail. I can't wait for the next chapter.

You definitely have readers waiting for the next chapter I'm one of them, you can use this review to feed your muse I heard they can be ravenous little things :)
It's an interesting idea that Tousen would be against even sparring, you would think that would be such an integral part of shinigami life but with the way you've portrayed Tousen it makes sense, although it's nice to see Hisagi developing his strength in all aspects mental and physical. I really look forward to the next part ^_^

I think that the writing and the premise of this story/stories is just absolutely brilliant. Both Shuuhei and Kenpachi are pretty neglected characters in fanfiction, and in the series itself. (except for the recently in the manga. yay! Kenpachi fights!) I loveit how you really get into Shuuhei's head and understand his thinking and what he's going through. And I'm with you. Kenpachi is so a smart bastard underneath the awesome craziness.
And now, just because I loved this so much, I'm going over to FF.net to read the other one! Keep writing!
