Interesting. I like the approach you took in painting Gin characteristics. He is definitely an interesting character. The whole Gin/Itchigo paring is very new to me. But nevertheless, This pairing seems to work.

Awws! I actually really liked this chapter! Prolly like many fans in this yaoi section of the group, I haven't read het in a while, and don't like it as much as yaoi, but I also thought this chapter was very necessary. And let me say this, Gin is so freakin' adorable, I'd read him in anything. XD You made him so innocent, and I truly love that about him!! I felt so bad for him, poor Giiin... Ichi can fill the hole in his heart! Btw, Ichigo's way of comforting him was really cute. They seem like really good friends now, and it's great. ^^ Awesome work with this! Still lovin' it! XD

I have to say this I am really Loving your development of Gin! You made me like him even more than I already do. I feel real sorry for him...jeez getting the cold shoulder from your new Colleuges (except Ukitake-Taichou of course!) me no likes Soi-Fon that much....Hmm and the sex between Gin and Mastumoto was pretty good, nothing graphic in it, though it was odd seeing Gin and Masty like that because usally Rangiku was the one always left guessing/missing of the other. Though you can look at this as Rangiku's own way of getting used to Gin's actions and leaving/Distancing herself from Gin hmmm?

Anywho, fantastic chapter! Update sooon!

Well, this was definitely a chapter with a bittersweet quality to it. I get that it was necessary to better understand Gin and any relationship he and Ichigo may share later on, but it still left me wanting to hug that grinning, squinting silver-haired cutie and squish him nice and tight! On a side note, I've always thought of Kuchiki'hime as way, way, WAY too arrogant for his own good. For God's sake, the man even WALKS like he has a ten foot pole shoved up his ass! All stiff and prim! Urgh! In any case, the ending with Ichigo trying to be there for Gin was really sweet. It gave the chapter an overall lighter feeling; like despite events in the past, the future doesn't have to consist of the same mistakes and regrets. And the part about Ichigo setting himself on fire and Gin cracking up over it was too hilarious for words! Before I sign off, just wanted to let you know that the eye candy and blood and gore (with the bits of comedy thrown in) were my ticket to Bleach-fan-for-lifedom too. There's something about a blood covered, feral Ichigo that gets me all hot and bothered. Blame it on the pervert with a sadistic streak in me. And Grimmjow in his released state...Mmmmm...

It is sweet how Ichigo was being all worried about him. They are just too cute! I can't wait to see how they actually end up being together.

Ugh, the het was ugly, just as it was supposed to be. It made me appreciate yaoi a lot more. I feel so bad for Gin, he needs to flirt with Ichi more to make up for it!
