I guess it's true what they say--if you want to keep a secret, don't tell anyone. Though for some reason, I'm thinking about a far more famous saying. "There is no coincidence, only necessity."

Even amid the sad thoughts and turbulent emotions this story brings up you still make me laugh. I love the way you described Byakuya as a glacier, that was a good metaphor for him.
But it was Orihime who had me in fits. “I just don't understand. Maybe she's been abducted by aliens, and they replaced her body with a zombie pod-person. Have you noticed any weird marks?” I read this line and had to stop reading for a minute until I could stop laughing. I know it's just what Orihime would say but how did you come up with it? It's gold I tell ya!
I loved when she offered to lend Ichigo and Rukia her baby 'cos she and Renji can always make more, that was just priceless.
I love Yamamoto, millenias of patience and he still can't break Ichigo, ah well...He should know that a family trait only gets stronger over the generations so Ichigo is probably 3 times as stubborn and patient as him.
I can't wait for the next chapter to find out what Byakuya and Ichigo will say to each other, that should be an interesting conversation.
Oh wow, I think this is my longest review yet but I just loved this chapter so much and wanted to comment on everything, well more or less. What did I miss...? Oh yeah, Yumi's protectiveness, even Yamamoto's reiatsu couldn't upset him, now that is one loyal fukitaichou.
Ok, I'll stop now. Update soon please.

Well I didn't need my box of tissues for this chapter but I was close to it. I thought it wonderfully and so accurately written it felt real! For a moment, my brain convinced me this was just another episode on Bleach I was watching err...reading. I saw it all in my head man! GOOD STUFF!

^O^ Bottom line: Another wicked chappie; the character descriptions were right on the money.

Favorite part:

"But before he could escape for the day, he had been nearly frozen in his tracks by a curt and obviously annoyed Hitsugaya-taichou.

“The Kurosaki's are fighting, sir,” he had said very abruptly. “Do something.”"

....That ending.... I nearly cried at that! Ichigo's Daughter knows that her Daddy needs comfort and protection from all the dangers in life...which includes the people you love! Awwww!!! I feel bad for Ichigo. but at the same time, I somewhat feel bad for Rukia... sort of...I mean, its hard to sympathize with Rukia at this point. With Ichigo's reasons for staying and his helplessness and lack of reaction with her beatings. And her own frustrations with handling the majority of her Division's work though she could attempt to lighten her load somehow...

Your explaination of the winter war...very agreeable! I'm hoping that might be outcome for own Three Tratiors! Aizen dead! Tousen Dead! by Suicide! and Gin Alive! or Insane! Both can work for me!!! Honestly...I can't fantom any reason...his purpose...his goal to why he'll join Aizen???

Heheheh...I'm looking forward for that Shuu/Uki fic in your Seretei Montagai fics!!! XD Yeah I know Kira needs love!!! but I find him a fop! **Plus I've been on a Shuu/Uki high ever since reading the recent BONDAGE fics about those two!!! XD Have you seen them?**

Anyways, looking forward for the next update!

Arg, I already had to open up my new box of tissues, and I know it's only going to get worse. But--the part about this story that makes it so damn frustrating is that you're leaving me unable to hate Rukia! I can read her pain just as easily as I can read Ichigo's and somehow it's making it so much harder for me.

You’ve also done a wonderful job with the children, not too “mature” for their age, and still being able to insert them into the plot to help further it along...You’re definitely an amazing author!

I can't wait until the next chapter! ^-^

Chapter 4

*is crying* Oh my gosh. This is so incredibly amazing. I even like Rukia as the angry, abusive wife. There's not very much said these days about abusive wives who hit their husbands - most people think of spousal abuse, they imagine beaten women and loud, drunken men.

Then you weren't kidding about heartbreaking, either. Although, it was mostly that the chapter had ended that was sad, and ended on such a terrible note, as well. I'm hooked. Completely. I would like this even if it weren't slashy. The kids are adorable, your characterizations are fantastic, and the plot is amazing.

First Kaien asks Byakuya to do something about the fights, and now Syaoran is trying to help her father in her own way. They're just lucky the twins are too little, otherwise there'd be two more kids trying to do soemthing. Attacks on all four sides, in a manner of speaking.

All I can say is; Rukia needs help. Lots and lots of help. Immediately. *grabs another tissue*
