Awwww~ *squishes Byakuya* Good for him! I wouldn't want to deal with his grandma. She sounds kind of scary. O__o;;

Anyway, it's yet another great chapter, and we're that much closer to the end. X3 I know what it feels like, being happy and sad about it at the same time, since I'm working on the epilogue of one of my own stories. =3 It'll be sad to see the story end, but it'll be nice to have time to work on other things, too. And then, later on, you'll come up with another story to fill the void. X3 And, knowing you, it'll be a great one. ^w^

I'm so glad that Jyuu and Kaien made up.

And good for Byakyua getting some damn balls! :)

This chapter gave me the warm fuzzies all over, and I needed them because it's 10 below outside, and snowing.

I was shouting in joy when Byakuya stood up to his grandmother. I kinda wanted him to push more reiatsu (having a bad spelling day, sorry) at her just for the hell of it :)

I love over protective Juu-chan, I can't imagine him being any other way XD And I'm so happy that everythings ok again between he and Kaien.

I'm a bit worried about Byakuya's gran, her quick aquiesence to him is a little troubling.

Oh and that bit about Yoruichi and Kuukaku destorying part of the Byakuya's house had my in stitches. It sounds about right, after all, Kuukaku does like playing with her fireworks ^_^

aww, so sad to read, those last few chapters were so dramatic! can't wait for the finale :>

Awww. The story is awesome even if it does lack porn. You worked hard on this and I praise you for it. It doesnt always have to be about the porn. ^^ But I cant wait for the happy ending cause I look really ulgy right now, crying and 'snotting' everywhere(Im sick too). So see ya next chapter! This is a very touching and realistic portrait of grief and th stages people go through before they can accept loss. I think you're doing a wonderful job at portraying the children, who feel things they don't understand and so are not sure how to react. Ichigo has also grown up quite a bit since the canon story, and even in this story alone he has grown. As always, it is a pleasure to read.

Somehow I missed a chapter in there and did not review. I apologize. The description you add makes things seem so much more real. Many authors, if writing a similar story, would probably not go into detail about cleaning out Rukia's apartment or things like that. But it really adds to the roundness of the story and gives it depth. Sometimes we (readers, watchers of anime) get so immune to the true concept of loss (how many characters in anime actually stay dead, anyway??) that we forget the seemingly simple things that become a daily battle for those dealing with their grief. I can feel what Ichigo is feeling and what his children are trying to understand. The focus of the story seems to have shifted away from Ichigo's potential romance with Byakuya to his just trying to keep himself and his family in one piece, and that's natural. If you had written it differently or rushed a lemon scene into it, it would have changed the whole dynamic.

I know people come to aff for the pr0n, but this story deals with adult issues as well. So it's not the hot and bothered adult issues; I am still glad you posted it here. I would never have found it otherwise! And delaying the lemony goodness between Ichigo and Byakuya adds to the romantic and tragic nature of the tale; it does not make it less adult. (Although I must admit, I am secretly hoping for a lemony follow-up story. But no pressure...)

No lemon? *shrug* Who needs it in a fic this good? =3 Your stories don't need smut to be great, Seireitei Monogatari is proof of that. ^w^ But yay for happy endings! XD I loves 'em, especially after heartbreak and angst. X3 I wonder why.... ;3 *knows already*

Ok, quick review 'cos it's really late and I have to get some sleep.

I was almost in tears when Kaien started blaming Jyuushiro, I just wanted to hug him and comfort him. You really are good when it comes to pulling on the heart strings.

I totally agree about the lemon, some stories are perfect without them and yours is perfect!! I think more than a few people will agree that that isn't an opinion, it's a fact XD
