Oh my god. I feel so bad for Ichigo. What IS he going to tell his kids? And Ichigo and Byakuya barely holding it together. And Jyuu doesn't want to be a captain anymore. And ... and... I actually cried while I was reading this. It was so heart-wrenching. I'm so glad that Jyuu had Kira. I hope that Bya and Ichi can pull some strength from each other, from their friendship, and manage to get through this. I'm so worried about how the kids are going to take this!

*whispers* I hate when bad things happen to kids. I cry a lot about kids getting hurt now that I'm a mom.

I'm definately not glad that she's gone, but I understand that some things are necessary for the sake of the plot. I'll be waiting to see what you've got in mind for the next few chapters, but in the meantime I'll be mourning. Just a little. *sniffle*

As sad as it was, it was another great chapter. It makes happy endings that much more satisfying. ^w^ *hugs*

I feel sad for Rukia. I'm neutral about her dying, and even though I feel sad for her, I cried (how lame and girly of me) over Ukitake's guilt. Guilt is a terrible thing...I'm sure everything will come full circle, and I also sometimes bite my nails over what I've written. I figure people read these stories for the angst and pain, I mean if they wanted happiness, that's what Nickelodeon is for, right?

RUKIA DIED!! Poor Ichi..-hugs him- and Juushiro...-hugs him too- I'm looking forward to your next update..

Even though I was kinda expecting that it still hit hard. I could feel the tears building behind my eyes and then when Ichigo felt it happen I almost totally lost it.
When he tells the kids I'm gonna have a hell of a time keeping my keyboard dry!! I so felt for Byuakuya, he thinks he has to be so strong and composed that he can't break down and cry like he wants to and needs to. You really know how to wind a girl. I'd write more but I really need to get some sleep.
I half want the next chapter and half don't knowing that I'm gonna be in tears by the end of it.
Keep up the wonderful work Draco.

the story is getting very interesting so far, i really like the chapter, where ichigo and byakuya kissed ^-^

Byakuya eaves dropping, that's a new onw XD I loved the line where he thought he wasn't some ruffian or Renji. That started me off on a good giggle XD

It was so sweet when they reverted to their old selves, that was just priceless, the banter between them was perfect. The convo with Rukia was well done too, it had the right hint of awkwardness to start and then relaxed nicely. I love how Juu-chan just knows. There really is no point hiding things from him.

Oh and leaving both sentarou (sp ?) and Kiyone in charge would have been disastorous, even Aizen couldn't do as much damage as they could XD

I can't believe I didn't get the Shrek reference, the second you said it I could hear Donkey (or Eddie Murphy to be technical) saying it. And now I'm worried, I know you won't kill off one of the kids but now I think your sights are set on Rukia.

Ok, I will patiently (sort of) wait for the next chapter.

Finally, a little happiness.

I love Ukitake...he's so adorable. Thanks for giving him a nice big role. ^_^
