I was cheering for them, and I loved that you mentioned that it was far from perfect what with Ichigo's morning breath and all XD
I felt so sorry for Rukia, she's really all alone now sort of and hasn't really got anyone to lean on like Ichi has.
I was really happy when Bya-kun finally admited that he wasn't even managing to fool himself anymore and that he was completely in love with our favourate strawberry.
I love that Ichi nearly made Juu-chan choke on his own breath by just saying straight out that he'd kissed Bya-kun. It's like he thought 'hey, I've just kissed my best friend, why mince words.' I almost fell out of my own chair, that he would be so direct almost floored me.
Thank you for not making us wait 2 weeks for this, I don't think my sanity could have taken it lol I look forward to the next chapter.

Okay, I am officially hooked on your story! I came over to the Bleach fandom to check it out and I landed on your story, and I'm glad I ventured over here! You're developing the characters quite believably and you've managed to introduce OCs without them taking over the story. They add to the story while keeping focus on the canon characters. Very nicely done.
I love seeing Uncle Byakuya. That man has a soft side. He's just too darn polite and formal to show it. I love how you build his character and display his soft spot for the kids.
Your dialogue is also very well constructed. I can "hear" the characters saying that; it's very believable. Some of the elements you incorporate from canon serve beautifully to remind us that even though time has passed, these are still the same people (I'm specifically thinking of Orihime's decorating taste and craving combinations, here!).
Overall, I am enjoying this story very much and I truly look forward to reading more of it when you post more.

You can't drop a hint like that, it's cruel!! Now I'm gonna be all paranoid and anxious till the next update.
My heart aches for Kaien, it's really hard when your parents split when you're young. No matter what they say you always think it's your fault and in this case it's true. And then there's Syaoran being all clingy 'cause she's affraid of anyone else leaving her. You really know how to tug on the old heart strings.
I love that Ichi and Bya-kun are finally starting to admit to themselves their true feelings, and Ichi having to look back to see what was so obvious to ALL of us but that he remained oblivious to. I like that they are trying so hard to think about decisions that would have meant nothing before but now look so suspicious, you can almost see the gears in their heads working, 'now if I do this then...' It's almost like they're playing chess.
And the humour at the end, Ichigo's cooking being sort of edible. I am really looking forward to the next update, especially after that hint, hint bit. (Oh so cruel!! XD)

Yes! Physical attraction for the win! So cute how Bya takes care of the kids. The emotions are growing; I definitely feel that the next few chapters will be intense. I can't wait!
