It looks like Kenpachi is doubting his own mind now. He wants to believe her (I think he does) but he also doesn't want to admit that he could have been duped.

Oh my God I knew Chizu had to have something to do with Aizen's attack! I just thought it was a little too convenient for her squad to be attacked on their rounds and then for Arrancar to show up. Great job on this last chapter, I throughly enjoyed the nice cliffhanger.

I hope my wish of Chizu slowly being disembowel by a Zanpaktou comes true at some point....

Another great chapter. Somehow I don't see Akina being a very good patient...though I have a feeling she'll be bored in bed for awhile still. At least Yachiru will come visit I hope. Though I'm more curious if Chizu will make an appearance while she's recovering. Can't wait for the next update.

Hmm.... Kenpachi is a moron. Everybody but him seems to know the rumors are just that, rumors....
I'm sure the lunkhead will come around eventually. Perhaps he will "overhear" Chizu mentioning how well her false rumors were working and she how big of an idiot he's been...

Yeah another chapter completed! You're latest update had so much hope in it I could barely keep still. I'm so glad they're talking again but I have to wonder what will happen during White Day? Thanks for updating so soon and great job!

I liked the chapter. Sure there wasn't much action, in terms of fighting anyway, but it moved the story along nicely and gave us a deeper look at the characters.
I can't wait for the next chapter, will Kenpachi see the error's of his ways??

I absolutely loved chapter 23! It was filled with so much angst I could barely stand it, but at the same time once again brought a bit of realism to the characters and their actions. Honestly you can't expect a proud man like Kenpachi to drop everything he was feeling before even with a death scare, but I'm sure it's making him think twice about what's really important to him. Thanks so much for updating!!

Thanx so much for updating so quickly! Chapter 21 gave a nice closure on the motel room scene and gently transitioned onto the rest of her patrol. I can't wait to read more!
