Geez. Now I have to update MY story. Thanks a lot. Way to go.
...
Hahahahahaha! Just kidding! Good to have ya back!
Just as I was wondering what had happened to the poor, overshadowed Ishida clan, here comes Orihime, shining bright with the bishie sparkle! "Why didn't I think of that?" indeed. My sentiments exactly.
I was wondering how you were going to let him get captured, and, well, now I know. Heh. Dang. I like Komamura. Pity about what's about to happen to him. Here's to him providing an assist once the... the... hey, I'll stick with the shiniboko show up.
Again with the Central 46 bashing! Well, at least this time they're merely misled instead of out and out evil.
Here's to our mutual enhanced updating speed.

Hey man I've been reading this for a while now can't wait for your next chapter. I was just wondering if Dion would be able to get healed by Orihime or her kids cause it's possible for her to. Maybe he doesn't want to for his own reasons. If you want to clear that up next or in the future, you may know my friend Neospike he mentioned the um flaw. But I love the story and the last two honestly mabye you could have her(Orihime) offer her service and he refuses I guess. But yeah Kepp up the awesome work.

I am both deliriously honored and happy that you dedicated a chapter to me! ~.~ I’m also a little tongue, not really knowing what to say, so I guess I’ll just say Thank You for that.
On to the actual review: I’m not sure what it says about me that I have taken an utter and immediate dislike to Ren Nanashi. Not for the fact that she looks like Gwydion’s ex, but her attitude itself. She came off as pompous and just blah. I can only commend you for your writing ability in creating characters that inspire and resonate with the reader. Plus my mind already started running in all sorts of directions with which you could create elaborate plot twists with her. Not to just wait and see if any of them pan out!
Gwydion takes the meaning of the word humble and denial and extends them to new heights. It is an interesting flaw for him to have, one that affects every aspects of his life to such an extent that he doesn’t even realize how far it goes and how deep it affects him. And I imagine it will be one that will cause so much damage in the future when he actually goes to overcome it, assuming Soi-Fong doesn’t beat his head in first to make him realize what he is doing. Either way would make for a fascinating event.
I also must say that you have an astonishing method of explaining theories so that they actually make sense and seem plausible. One of the things that has baffled me in Bleach is the ranking of the Hollows and the making of the different classifications. It seems like they through out the earlier explanations when they started to classify the Espada and those below them. I could believe it if someone told me they said “Continuity, who cares about that. No one is going to be paying attention to the explanations of the Factions and how you need to go from the Menos to Adjuntas to Vasto Lord (who they have yet to show one) to the Arrancar to Espadas and back again to the Privaron Espada .” I mean seriously it got to the point where I didn’t even bother trying to figure out the stupid classifications! Grrrr. You on the other hand explained the concept to create these new ‘defective’ Mod Souls of Mayuri’s in such a way that my little brain said “Oh that makes sense. Who knew?” (Please excuse the ranting about continuity, it is one of my pet peeves and I tend to take it very seriously and I get a little over emotional about it).
I bow down to you in the masterful way you had both Gwydion and Soi-Fong rub it in to Ai. It was such a slap into her face that I KNOW she won’t take it lying down, and it will bite them in the ass, but I still laughed.
I want you to know that as a reader I am thoroughly enjoying this story. I understand that you as a writer are taking time out of your life to write something that is an outlet, a hobby or practice for when you actually write a novel to sell and get published. I don’t know your reasoning for why you write. I can just tell you that I am grateful that you do since I take great pleasure in reading this story.

*Gasp!*
Can it be?
It is! Behold, the plot comes from the hills to the north to rout our reluctance, just as Sobieski routed the Turk upon the gates of Vienna!
All jokes aside, awesome, *awesome* chapter. Plenty of plot, well presented, follows much more logical lines than some previous works. (Love Kaien as a character. His complex, confusing, god-moding power? Not so much. Please don't take offense. *chuckles, but nervously, remembering past incidents*).
Ren... either a plant by these "shiniboko" (hollow + death) or Chiaki's recycled konpaku. Pretty sure it's the latter, though the former more appeals to my sensibilities. Whiny jerk of a girl, though, given your track record, one who has an epiphany coming, and probably a painful one. Heh-heh.
So, yeah. Gwydion's screwed. Plot structure dictates: loses this fight, experimented on, survives, maintains sanity, resists, rescued by Soul Reapers led by Soi who reaffirms that she loves him even though he's no longer human (you know what I mean). Or, alternatively, loses his memories and humanity in the process, becomes general, only regains both by meeting Soi again. Either way, he's got about as much chance of winning this next one as Kurita has of outrunning Panther in Eyeshield 21.
Anyway, sorry I didn't review last time. I honestly meant to, but kept putting it off. Sorry to be a source of discouragement for you. *Cries honest tears*
I love Jushiro and Unohana's appearence so far. Both of them are veritable founts of wisdom, and I appreciate that the Smiling Death Stare remains intact.
Some kinda donnybrook comin' up. FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE! Rock on!

I'm sorry you're feeling down! Is it because of life in general or is it writing woes? Well either way, hang in there! Great chapter, as usual, and thanks for the shout-out. :D

I’m not sure what to tackle first, the cliff hanger ending where the assumption is that his ex whom he killed is still alive, or the complete and utter love I have for your interpretation and interaction of the Women’s Association. I adore the insinuation that Retsu, with her calm façade is more terrifying than all the tortures in the second division. Also, the fact that the men smoothly left the situation, knowing the value of retreat, while they still could before the interrogation struck. It made me utterly giddy.
The mental block that Gwydion appears to have is an interesting twist. Although, it shouldn’t come as surprise with how you’ve established his personality. Especially with the emphasis you gave to how he fought Tatsumi and how he solved the awkwardness when fighting her. And yet I was still surprised by the notion. Although, that could be because I had a flash of Kenshin’s Rurounin persona from Samurai X, in particular when Gwydion spoke in formal language to Yoruichi.
Ukitake and Retsu are the most capable manipulators in the whole series. They just smile and you fall over to do what they want. The mental image of Ukitake giving you the impression of kicking a puppy, while giving you the puppy dog eyes and playing with a bouncing baby left me breathless with laughter. He would smile like that!
I can’t wait to read the next chapter! Mostly for the answers of who is Chiaki, what was she doing at Ichigo’s house, will Soi-Fong wake up from her faint in time to help, and how will the Association’s meeting go and did she remember he outburst to Kin, Retsu and Yoruichi? (And doesn’t this whole paragraph remind anyone of the old cartoons where they are trying to convince you to tune in for the next show ~.~*)
