Man Byakuya's a right bastard.
I think that Shuuhei or Izuru with Ichigo would be a good pairing
Or maybe Ukitake and Kyouraku as a threesome....or even aizen/an espada (grimmjow/Ulquiorra/stark)

I vote for the Ukitake and Kyouraku as a threesome. There are not enough Ukitake/Ichigo or Kyouraku/Ichigo stories our there. The only one I found that was good was The Red String of Fate by Felicity Dream on fanfiction.net. Go read it cuz its good!!!! Yah so Ukitake/Ichigo/Kyouraku all the way! Ukitake/Ichigo/Kyouraku! Please have someone beta this chapter. It seems like it'd be a good story but it irritates me to no end when people get the names mixed up and misspell them.
*Yamamoto not Yamoto.
*Kyouraku-taichou not Shunsui-taichou. Shunsui is his given name, Kyouraku is his family name. Say there was a general by the name of John Doe, you'd call him General Doe.
*Hisagi-fukutaichou. Shuuhei is his given, Hisagi his family name.
and near the end you wrote Shunsui-fukutaichou, I think you meant Hisagi-fukutaichou.
Now the story itself seems lovely so far and I can't wait to read more of it. Just please get the names straight.
Thoughts for story like you mention in your author's note, maybe Renji kicks Byakuya's ass(a long shot I know) and gets Ichigo. Or maybe someone else, I just don't think Ichigo and Byakuya should get back together.

Renji could be a captain now, and what better to show Bya-kun what he gave up then having his past vicecaptain coaxing a smile out of the new, beautiful Ichigo?!
And Renji woudl be the type to not be quite about his feelings, so we wouldnt have to worry about someone not proudly announcing that he's Ichigo's lover, Renji is a great person for Ichigo. And especialy with how enfeminant Ichigo now looks, big strong renji with his tattoos and muscles would be awsome!
