Loved it. They seem to fit together. Wonder if anyone did any stories on the Zanpaktos of the soul reapers.

I think this story rocks. Shuhei's letter to Rangiku brought tears to my eyes.

First off, I absolutely can't understand why you have so few hits/no reviews yet. This is a great story so far! I usually don't review so early in a story but I felt the need to leave a note since 1) the story is well written, 2) it's a pairing I like, and 3) for some inexplicable reason no one else has reviewed yet. Anyhow I think that you've done well so far in terms of realistically portraying the pain both Rangiku and Shuuhei are going through here. It's demonstrative of Shuuhei's feelings for and understanding of Rangiku's psyche that he proceeds to have sex with her even though he realizes she doesn't actually want him for himself: he likely accepts that she might feel even more alienated from him after the act, but he knows it's what she desperately needs at the moment, so he provides it for her anyway. It's the opposite of "taking advantage" of her weakened situation (although he's wanted her for a long time, having her in that way has got to have been a serious blow to his male ego...). I hope you continue and don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews!

umm, hi. me again! just a thought re: the lack of hits for this story - maybe it's b/c of where the story is placed at the moment. Since I think (hope) that this is to focus on Shuuhei/Rangiku interaction, maybe it would garner more attention if you were to move it to the Het-M/F section, or to the Rangiku/Shuuhei subsection within that section (although there are no stories there yet, there is such a subsection set up).
