This story evokes such a range of emotions.
I've noticed in most fanfictions authors seem to not pick up on the fact that cannon Ulquiorra purposely provokes & manipulates Ichigo with his words multiple times in the manga. Ulquiorra's high intelligence often makes an appearances in fanfics, but his sharp tongue, verbal banter & manipulative abilities are usually left out. I'm happy to read them here.
The story has just the right amount of fluff to make it heartwarming instead of sappy. The plot points that are being introduced keep me wondering on what will occur. However, I am enjoying your characterization of Ulquiorra & his relationship with Orihime so much I'd keep reading regardless.
Orihime's character is definitely more bold in some ways than most would expect. However, as long as Orihime is doing what her heart tells her is right, she can access a veritable ocean of strength & willpower to accomplish the task. That is my opinion of her.
