*smiles* I've already told you some of what I thought in IM, but I'm sharing the rest here. I debated reviewing chapter by chapter, then decided that the best thing would probably to do the entire thing as a whole. There is... so much to love about this story. I won't touch on specific BDSM things I love that you do, I've already shared about those. *grins* The first thing is the interplay with Shuuhei and Ukitake by the tree. I loved that scene; the conversation, the memories, the vulnerability, the absurdity of talking like that in a tree of all places.

I thoroughly enjoyed the way Ukitake worked Shuuhei through his stress, through his natural fear of the unknown, the Scene itself, and the aftercare. The touches that played on Giving Grace were beautiful in that they reminded me of the first thing I ever read by you *grins* and how Shuuhei and Ukitake's relationship developed in the first place.

The characterizations - as always - are lovely. Stark does a good job with Shuuhei. You already know I adore your Ukitake... pity he isn't real... lol. I'm going to stop yammering now, but I did want to share with you what I hadn't already.

Yay! I loved the aftercare. <3 -wipes drool away from her face-

Sorry I haven't gotten around to reviewing again sooner. Work has been making reading anything aside from reports impossible. Again, I have to thank you for the wonderful work on this series particularly in the areas of negotiations and aftercare of submissives. The scenes are beautifully done from start to finish. I am quite pleased that someone has put forth the effort to correct misconceptions concerning BDSM. I'm even more pleased that it wasn't me because I don't write sex scenes very well. Overall, this is a marvelous series and I've recommended it to several peers and others in the scene. The whole series has been a wonderful read. Thank you so much.

Wow... beautiful story and amazingly written! I couldn't stop reading. I was in awe at how you wrote Ukitake doing something that I would have thought to be completely out of character, yet kept him in character perfectly. Beautiful. Beautiful. That's all I can say. Amazing job.

(5) I liked the conversation between Shuuhei and Ukitake about whether Shuuhei had learned what he felt like he needed to go to Kira, I can't help but wonder though if that's really what Kira would want from Shuuhei, at least at first. I could see him balking at the idea of that sort of relationship simply because it would hold so many conflicting ideas for him and would just want to keep it the way it is, it's an interesting idea anyway.

As for the story - absolutely fabulous^^ loved the whole thing, I certainly hope to see more stuff from you guys in the future and I'll definitely look out for stories :)

(4) Seems to me Shuuhei's really liking this role reversal, although I don't think it's all that surprising he strikes me as the kind of guy who can handle trying new things. Plus how can you not lose yourself with Ukitake, they just seem to work so well together and this chapter was just as hot as the last, I can't wait to read the next one :)

Oh boy, I hope the next chapter is the "gentle lovemaking.." I always love that. <3 You and stark are awesome. ~.^

I'm not a fan of S&M and domination by any means, but your story here is just so hot that I don't mind it at all. xD I didn't say that in my last review (I don't think) and I just wanted to get that out in the open. ^_^

It's a little weird to think of Shuuhei (and ukitake for that matter) in love with other people since the lust and intensity between these two is so intense plus they seem to genuinely like each other, it isn't just the sex which makes them an interesting pair. Another wonderful chapter and if the next chapter is like this one I can't wait to read it :)

This is beautifully done as always. You have both Top and bottom roles, emotions and connections down very well. I've rarely seen such attention to the detail of scenes in a real world sense. Most writers just jump straight into the beatings with no negotiations or preparations out of ignorance. You've done a wonderful job with either research or experience. As a Top I thank you very much for the honesty in this series. Well done.
