@Chapter 7: I'm a guy, and you make me go 'aww' whenever Ggio does something nice for Rangiku. Ggio's base spirit may be a tiger, but he's far more like a canine with her. He brings her specially picked food, tends to her aches and pains, and is content to simply cuddle with her until she falls asleep while "spooning" with her.
Despite the circumstances, I really like the development of the growing Stark/Unohana family. You've made me into a big fan of Lillynette, she is seriously adorable in your stories. Unohana is the perfect person to fill the mother role in her life, and it's rather touching when we see how much having a female presence in her life means to her. You've made good use of Hanataro, putting him outside of his usual role as the comedic doormat of the others, and his relationship with Lillynette is intriguing. As always, I like the way you portray Stark- essentially a honorable (if somewhat lazy)person, trying to make the best of the situation, and rising to occasion (in spite of some grumbling).
I never really saw Grimmjow as an out-and-out badguy, so his "asshole with a heart of gold" persona isn't that far of a stretch when it comes to the stories I've read that feature him. Can't help but worry about Rukia, especially now that the tiny thing is preggers... And I can't help but pity Byakuya. As for Isane... The tall beauty really needs some serious tlc- *hugs*.
Not sure how I feel about Gin... He seems to veer between evil bastard and tragic hero depending on the story. As for Tousen, for someone who's experienced such heartache and loss, I'm a little shocked he can be so indifferent to the suffering of the clearly helpless people around him- he's not emotionless, cause we see him crying in flashback and he also seems to care about Wonderweiss.

I really enjoyed this story and the character development that took place in it. You kept most of them in character despite the extenuating circumstances. Also I appreciated how harsh and real the rape scenes felt.
I'm a believer of constructive criticism. One thing I would like to point out is that there are several instances spread out through many chapter where you have used the word 'rather' when the word 'whether should be used instead. Just letting you know. Other than that there were some grammar/spelling mistakes and misuse of full quotations (thoughts generally are shown like 'this' whereas dialog goes like "this").
I read this on fanfiction a long time ago and while I couldn't figure out what the extra parts were, I know it didn't lose any of its credit.

I love this fic. I read straight through the entire fic, and figured I would leave the review for the last chapter.
First off I would like to say what an amazing writer you are. Your plot details and the character developement of Shinigami and Espada were something I enjoyed in the fic, especially in regards to Grimmjow, Stark, Lilinette, and Ggio. I don't think there was any part of the story I didn't like. Yes the rapes were unpleasant to read, but I feel that they were a necessary, and realistic part of the story. I understand that since Aizen is the one in charge, unpleasant actions would occur under his reign. Also the relationships that occured between some of the Espada and shinigami such as Unohana/Stark, Lilinette/Hanatarou, and Matsumoto/Ggio, was expected. I'm glad to see that these relationships didbn't just develop overnight, but rather they developed in a realistic manner.
I think my favorite character in the whole story is Grimmjow, and I loved how you developed his character. I think his character is very realistic and true to the manga. I can see him raising Ichigo's child to fight, jusy so that he can fight the child in the future. I really liked how he was there for Rukia since the beginning, first by claiming her and making sure no one else had the chance to take her, then by taking her to Ichigo so that she would lose her virginity to Ichigo, the man she loved, then training Hanatarou and Lilinette.I also liked how he would spar with Rukia, and even was happy to take advantage in sparring with her while she was hormonal. I know he did it in orer to know more about Ichigo's fighting style, but I think he also did it for the benefit of Rukia so that she wouldn't become stagnant in her fighting skills. My favorite parts had to be the all the scenes that included Rukia, Grimmjow, Ichigo, and Kaname .
I am a diehard Ichi/Ruki fangirl, but I must say that a small part of me was hoping for a relationship to form between Rukia and Grimmjow. I feel as though I had blasphemied against such a sacred pairing (in my humble opinion Ichi/Ruki are sacred, I understand that others will have a different opinion and i respect their opinion) , but that just goes how awesome your story is, that for a small time I was thinking of changing my favorite pairing to Grimm/Rukia, especially after you wrote such awesome funny scenes for the two. One of the scenes I found amusing was when Rukia found out she was late and was freaking out, and Grimmjow asked her what the matter was and she stated that she was late. Then he responded "Late for what woman?" not knowing to what she was refering to. Then the other part I found amusing was when Unohana confrimed that Rukia was pregnant and Grimmjow found it amusing how only after one time Ichigo managed to get her pregnant. Just goes to show that Ichigo has another thing he is good at. And I think that the one thing that made me start liking the Grimm/Ruki pairing was when she was giving birth, and she was using Grimmjow lap as a pillow during the birthing process and how he used his shirt to wipe her forehead and how he was with her for the fourteen hours of labor. I also liked how he ignored Aizen when Aizen entered the room and kept attending to Rukia. I like when he asked Kinomi if she had something to say and she immediateley started crying. I loved the interactions between Kinomi and Grimmjow, and was happy to see that he had more of a role as a cool uncle/mentor to her and toldher stories of her father.
Make no mistake i am still a diehard Ichi/Ruki fan and I love how the story ended, with Ichigo and Rukia finally able to be together. I am also glad to see the the head commander accepted the Stark and Ggio as well as the other children.
This was an amazing story and now I have started to read "Prize of Victory which is starting to become a favorite of mine as well. If you do write anymore stories like this, I would very much like to read a Grimm/Ruki fic, since I think there is very much potential in this pairing and I almost feel bad for Grimmjow, since he was more of an uncle figure for Kinomi, and won't be able able to see his son grow up. Ichigo and Grimmjow are very much alike, so I can see how realistic it could be if you ever wrote a story where Rukia did develop feeling for Grimmjow. I am almost tempted to read "The Real King", because I won't because I feel that it would be possible for your writing to convert me to a Grimmjow/Ichigo fangirl. Thats how awesome your writing is. I have nothing against m/m or yaoi, I actually quite enjoy it, and I know from reading "Crossbreeding the future" and "Prize of Victory" that I will definitely fall in love with that story as well. However I have been following the Bleach manga ever since it started and have been a Ichi/Ruki fangirl since it started, so I don't think I will be reading it anytime soon. I will probably get around to reading it since Ichigo and Grimmjow are two of my favorite characters, Rukia being my absolute favorite character followed closely by Ichigo and Grimmjow. But I think that will probably be after I finish with your other amazing story "Prize of Victory". I'll leave reviews for that one as well, since it is such an awesome story as well.
Sorry for such a long review, but you are a talented writer, and this story was very well written, your plot was unique and intriguing and your characters were awesome. Thanks oonce again for such a great story.

I must be more twisted than I thought... because to tell you the truth, I actually enjoyed the first third of the story more before the plot started turning towards romance :p Partly it's because I'm actually a huge Aizen fan, so I really liked when he was being his domineering self and all the other characters were too beaten down or under his control to rebel against him. And partly because I was actually enjoying all the torture and rape. man, I really need some counselling... Still, I have to say that this was a very well written story, and the change of hearts that the Espada had were believable. One of the problems I often have with the Bleach fanfics where Shinigami X gets captured and brought to Hueco Mundo only to have Espada Y fall in love with him/her and rescue him/her is that the falling in love part often seems unrealistic. I simply find it hard to accept that one of the Espada would be able to develop feelings for a Shinigami, since they are really Hollows. However, in your story, the links were really developed through the children first. First, they care for the child, then they come to care for the partner who helped bring the child to life. Mix in the desire to prevent the children from growing up in an Aizen-controlled world where there is no true freedom, and an Espada rebellion become much more plausable. Just my own two cents :) sorry this was so long, especially since looking back, half of it wasn't even about your story. my bad ^_^

Just wanted to say that I recently came across this story and the two that follow, and I really enjoyed them. The writing is superior to that of the anime, and kept me interested enough to read through all 3 in just a couple days. Thanks for writing!

Byakuya had gone for so long I thought he's dead. Glad to have him back. LOL. I wish I could see his father role more.
I thought feelings between Rukia and Grimmjow should had something more. It seems right, I thought. But that would be too troblesome. Mwahaha because Ichigo finally show up. Happy family at last. ^^
Good thing that Byakuya had only one child, I totally afraid he would get hundred already.

I really enjoyed this. My favorite would have to be Unohana and Stark! I really appreciate how tasteful it was, which is rare to find. I read it one sitting and I am satisfied with the ending! I love how things would get nice and then Aizen would show up and ruin it! It made me remember this was no walk in the park.
