Wow. There's very little written about these two, but I'm glad you took them on.
"Byzantine way to flirt" indeed! And somehow it wasn't at all distasteful (that and have you seen what Maruyi LOOKS like beneath the paint? Holy crap!) *clears throat* This was gorgeously written, both for the unusualness of the pairing, and the characterization. Cerebral and visceral all at the same time. I'm sooo gonna tell my friends they have to read this. Bravo!

Wow, this is incredible. It's so....GROSS, and yet it's not, because of the way you write it. Of course they'd both be used to the blood and everything involved in surgery, and it wouldn't phaze them. I really like how Kisuke figured it out at the end. I'm glad you did that too because I was starting to worry that your Kisuke was a little too dumb, and that would make me sad. But you pulled it off at the end, and it made me happy!
