sad that our couple wasted so many years that could have been filled with love & companionship, but glad that finally they are coming closer to being able to truly be a couple. normally (real life anyway) i'm of the once a cheater always a cheater viewpoint. however, the way you've written shu he's truly regretful & unlikely to stray again (really, what sane man or woman would cheat on her?). i hope we get a happy ending (like a marriage).

I loved this chapter especially how it felt so emotionally disjointed in 1. covering many different characters and 2. sprinting through a timeline of events. I loved the reference to "Words;" for some reason the image of Renji's hair shaved off seemed the perfect symbol of the bleakness after war, even at a celebration. I think you perfectly captured Kisuke and Yoruichi, that despite how blithely they are typically portrayed they are deep characters - deeply complex and deeply connected. I think you showed perfectly how carefully Rangiku constructs her image, how much that image is a shell, and most importantly, the underlying grit and ability she posesses beneath it all. The images you create and the emotions the characters reflect not only stay true to original material but also allow for multiple (sophisticated) layers to be added. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Ecstatic when I saw you had a new chapter out. I love how strong yet vulnerable you portray the characters in all your writings (sidenote: "Words" is probably my personal favorite Bleach fic ever). Again I just love love love this pairing. I like how you're evolving the story. I really enjoyed this line 'bout of the pouts' so cute and it made me smile.
