That was excellent!! I like the balance of expertise and emotion Uryuu experienced while trussing Renji up. This was well done, Phoenix, with the low emotion well balanced with the highs. I'm not all that familiar with Bleach, but this scene could be the beginning of a whole different relationship for these two, which might range from sex to comforting each other after a battle. If you want to go forward with this I think you'll find lots of readers who dig this sort of added depth to their relationship, and I volunteer to be at the head of the line (well, right after Katami). But I also think it works just fine as a one-shot. Thanks for sharing!
