I find myself really enjoying the drama in this story. It's realistic and sometimes stuff like this in real life unfortunately happen which is why I like it. Interested in seeing more! I want to know how the Kurosaki family will survive all of this.

This is really interesting! I really hope to see more. You could certainly get away with ignoring Bleach's plot if you really want to; the timeline was never all that specific, and all that mess could easily lie in the vague future for an indefinite amount of time. Your choice.

OH my god.. I love you, but at the same time I distinctly DISlike you for putting Ichigo through this.. You understand what I mean, right? GOD..
The jumping in time and place, and use of bold and italic and stuff, it makes PERFECT sense to me, I think it's really well-used in a seemingly random, yet-not kind of way. My stomach is turning, but at the same time I IMPLORE you to write more, if not only to satisfy my own strange need for more, then to get Ichigo just a little bit out of this horrible stage of healing/depression. If you're going to mix the whole Aizen-Arrancar-War-thing into it, then (just a very sadistic thought) maybe Grimmjow could somehow figure the rough points of what has happened out from Ichigo's body-language and taunt him with it? Like .. Ichigo would be in the battle because he can only vent through training, though he reacts more savagely when anybody is close to actually touching him bodily, and so he is a fighter alongside the others? What will his Inner Hollow do? Will he exploit this uncharacteristic and rare period of weakness? How will Renji and Rukia react?
You've got me in your wicked net. I HAVE to read and know..

Um...wow. That was powerful. I don't usually leave reviews on here, but I wanted to tell you that this is very well written - the emotional impact is perfect. I can feel Isshin's rage and grief, and I can feel as Ichigo breaks. The ending seems just that - broken. Like he can't believe this just happened, and he knows there's nothing he can do to fight or change it. This is the true face of tragedy. Wonderful.

I think the writing style was perfect for the mood. Chilling and realistic, a very dark portrait is hard to do well, but you certainly succeeded. I'm curious about what would happen next, the fallout and the aftermath for all the characters. I hope you take this farther. Thanks for such an engrossing read.

Wow. That was... I'm speechless. The disjointed way it was constructed was perfect for the story you're trying to tell here. I'm particularly impressed with how you handled it. And it is, perhaps, the darkest take on the dynamics of the Kurosaki household. And yet, the most realistic of the darkest takes, if that makes any sense. I'm sure, considering the average age of writers in this fandom, that this sort of thing has been done before, but I'm also certain that their works pale in comparison to this one. It's raw, brutal, and honest and in no way glorifies the actions shown. Ichigo is made to suffer the worst here and Isshin is, by no means, blameless. But it's not just Ichigo's pain you show here, but also Isshin's and how one woman's death can tear apart a family so deeply. It tears me apart, right here in the gut.

In short, this was a very well-done piece of work. And you should be proud, for the aesthetic sense and for having the guts to post it on here where some people are liable to rip you to shreds for it (I've experience in this with my work on "Of Violence" where I chickened out and didn't show hardly any of the violence).
