Ah, this brought an huge but soft amused smile on my face...and possibly wider even, at a mental image supplied from the A/N at the bottom XD

Oh? *childish pout at not having to be able to hug you* How along are you now? *generally sucks at keeping track of time*

hope nothing too terrible is coming toward toshiro's pipeline. the reconciliation was sweet--better than a normal relationship since you've written in this dual link allowing them to feel each other's uncertainty, fear, etc. very enthused to read how batbaby comes into the world & absolutely can't wait to see ulqui in nesting mode. if he shows the slightest hint of public mushiness (his occasional private sweetness towards ori is established) my head will explode in shocked happiness.

hope morning/anytime sickness settle soon.

Its always the man's fault. Even if its the woman's, she should endeavor to be smart enough to pin it to a man. LOL Great update, can't wait for more!

So glad Karin got to work her 'mad' off ... Thing the fight was therapeutic for both of them. Hope all goes well for Toshiro after being summoned away so mysteriously. Love Grimmjow's admission that he forgot Karin wasn't like him and didn't know (and the fact that Starrk had pulled him aside like either a daddy or knowledgable big brother and explained the 'emotional hollow vs human facts of life' to him.

Hmmm ... lol ... So if Ajuga manages to visit Gin while he's doing spring cleaning and he's in the throne room while Aisen is occupied with Unohanna and elsewhere ... and she 'rests' on the throne and jokes to Gin that it makes her feel like a princess because she's there ... and that if she were the princess then she'd have two princes because Szayel and him would both be hers ... Would that be enough for her to wrest the royal title from Aisen without him knowing it? Of course none of them would know anything immediately beyond possibly a temporary disorientation due to the sudden shift in power ... well Karin would notice Aisen's power dim and several others, including hers, suddenly get brighter. While Aisen might just assume he put more into his attempt at producing an heir than he normally did.

Of course Ajuga would leave the palace to keep Gin safe if Aisen headed their way ... but would her declaration of Gin and Szayel being her chosen ones be enough to elevate them both above Aisen without anyone knowing it? Daddy Grimmjow would be clueless while mama Karin would know something just happened but not know what ... Gin and Szayel would be totally clueless if they were affected at all ... and Aisen wouldn't be any wiser about his change in status ...

Just giving that possible scenario as a way of saying ... Does it just take one of royal blood just sitting on the throne or does it have to officially be claimed? Same with the consort ... is she limited to one official mate or if she strongly loves two or three potential males as mate-level status but doesn't 'claim' them as such ... would that at least move them up to noble status if not royalty? (we know Aisen would be SOL if just her resting her rear on the throne was enough ...)

Think the blame should be split evenly.

Loved the hunt. Understand why Grimm-kitty is pissed (would have loved seeing Karin's reaction to him momentarily losing his inner battle with his inner Tomcat ... not acting on it but briefly speculating ....). Somehow I get the feeling Grimmjow is gonna be a bit put-off about what's eating Karin (he probably assumed ...) Get the feeling Grimmjow has finally figured out that Szayel can be trusted abut with Karin's secret. Speaking of that secret .... Aisen did transform into a hollow too before becoming Kami didn't he? And he can become royal if he has a kid by Unohanna (a less direct heir) right? So, does that mean that since Karin is the rightful heir, and Ajuga is the next in line behind her, and Grimm-kitty is mate and daddy to the two respectively ... does that make Grimm-kitty legit royalty and technically Aisen's superior because Aisen is just a wannabe?

Grimmjow … you are one strange father. Does he always have to be turned on by anything related to Karin. I mean how can a growl be interpreted as hot? Anyway I’m glad that Karin has good intuition.
For the first time Ajuga has a mini-fight with her mother. The daughter part in me wanted to say “Don’t worry darling it won’t be the last”
“sheath I am permitted to put that sword in is Karin” the best phrase ever *snicker* I just love these messed up comparisons.

Offf Hiyori I love her, but I’m more than sure that if the two firecrackers were to meet(in the anime I mean), that’s what would happen. I love the discussion between Szay and Grimm. Maybe I read too much between the lines, but I think Szayel has strong feelings for Karin; don’t know if they are just friendship, but frankly Grimmjow was right: he cares a lot if he was willing to get raped instead of revealing the truth.

I’m happy to hear your baby is fine, but I’m not so glad to hear you’re not sleeping at night. I would like to have a child of my own in the near future (need to find a man first) but you’re really scaring me (because I looovveee to sleep)

Answer: that’s a hard question. I would say both since it was Grimmjow’s duty to inform her, but she should have asked anyway (she’s so stubborn)
The next chapter will be very intersting (and welcomed by hitsukarin fans --- not that something will ever happen between them, but at least an interaction)

Btw did you know that Grimmjow is alive! Kubo didn’t really state he was alive, but he said that it might be possible (as in very possible) for him and Nel to appear in the next (last) arc.

Whut?! The end?! NoooooOOooooes~~!!! *melodramatically shakes monitor as if hopping it'll spit more out* D':
Loved the chapter so much I re-read it twice, and I dare say my heart itself might have felt kinda squirmish (and queasy) at -er- their meal *nervous chuckle* Grimmjow having such a bold adult talk with his daughter was quite............well, "amusing" feels like an understatement XDDD Oh gosh....

*almost had juice drink down the wrong pipe at the first A/N* I'll say....pfff...and I don't think Grimmjow would want an additional person in 'charge' on how he raises his daughter and adding to a bigger hornets nest....*wipes away tears and bits lip to stifle further amusing round of chortling*

As for your "weekly question"...hmm...I'm not too sure (although I'm leaning towards Karin for some reason, I suppose it's because logically I would have asked), they're both about equally at fault since neither of them are quite familiar with each others' customs and such.

Sorry I've been away, too much busy over here! Anyway, great chapter, though I must confess I am still unhappy that Yammy has not died of blunt or sharp force trauma. LOL Gin is so amazing, I didn't love him until about 5 chapters before his death scene. Now, I can't get enough, and I adore the chappies with him in them. Congrats on your own baby! I remember being that excited to see mine on the ultrasound.

You know, I was wondering what would have happened if Grimmjow had taken/captured Ichigo. Would Ichigo be dead? Claimed? Tortured?
