I really enjoyed this fic. It's beautifully written and it's obvious you made some research before writing it. I've made some research of my own about wakashudô and it's really as you described it, so congrats ^^
I don't know if I'm the only one who predicted what would happen at the end and guessed right. I suppose that most readers did too just from looking at the tittle of the third chapter, and they knew the kitsune was Gin too. It was obvious. I guess he did what he did to thank Byakuya that he saved him from that trap. I just don't know why he took so long to come back to Byakuya's side. Oh, and I have another doubt; how old was Byakuya when he first laid with Kenpachi? I guess Ichigo was 15 or so (from what he says about having only 3 years left until he became of age, though the condition of wakashû could extend until the age of 25 years old).
Right now I can't think of any other doubt I may had while reading the story, so I'll leave this here. Again, congratulations for writing this piece of art. I just recommended it to a friend of mine because I'm sure she'll enjoy it as much as I did. Keep the good work!

This was a wonderful story. I loved how you made each of the pairings work. It was absolutely wonderful.

Wow, what a great ending to a great series of snapshots! I must confess that it was Gin in my mind in chapter one and in the end as well, It's just so natural to think of him as the kitsune! And how charming that he must have watched those humans for years and years to be able to imitate the expected behavior so well! Bya deserves his happiness and I'm glad that he seems to have found 'enough' of it in the end. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful piece.

OOoh, I see what you did here, you naughty girl, you. I kinda thought this was going to be a twist...I mean, why would the kitsune be stalking Byakuya for so long? Lol, but I'm thinking, did the fox transform into Kenpachi to make Byakuya happy or did he fall in love with him throughout the years? Cos Byakuya was grieving for a damn long time until the kitsune/Kenpachi showed up. The only sad thing though is that the real Ken is dead and his skeleton won't get a proper burial...but at the same time, I'm happy that a fake Ken is there, taking his place to make Byakuya happy. Creepy, no? Lovely work, although I did notice some spelling mistakes here and there. I figured you were in a hurry for us, lol. Please write more Ken/Bya fics, please! FYI, I likes my Byakuya smutty and uke as hell, lol. So please write more smutty uke Byakuya fics , pls! =)

That was a surprising and clever end to this story. I felt it was bittersweet, but lovely. Now of course I'm curious about the Kitsune's reasoning for portraying Kenpachi! LOL Maybe you should add another chapter??? If not, it was a good ending. I too love Isshin, and I really would like to see you write something with him in it. Again, loved this story, and sorry to see it end. I'm still looking forward to updates on the other two stories you have in the works. Thanks for everything.

The ending was so bittersweet! I wanted to believe that Kenpachi somehow managed to stay alive but alas. I wonder why the kitsune would choose to impersonate him though. I know in the folklore they're are mischievous but I'm just curious about the motive (or if there is any to begin with).
Great trilogy. Loved it so much. Especially the historical aspects. Great job!

As excellent as the first one...but I must admit that this pairing is something really delicous to read at. I reall love this pairing especially if you have Renji as seme and Bya as uke. But this one was so well made..... The way you made the lovely and oh-so-not-innocent uke seduce the reluctant seme was absolutely marvelous.
I really hope to read the third part... even better to see a little glimpse of renji again LOL. I know that maybe I am expecting too much...but blah, one can always dream.
