Thank you for this gem of a story; this is definitely one of my favorite KenseixShuuhei works.
Of course, I would absolutely not mind if you wanted to continue this...say, detail the meeting between Kensei and Shuuhei, and maybe some of the time while they're together, with or without the rest of the squad? *cough, cough* Would I hint that you should continue this, please? Perhaps.... ;)

I agree with everyone else, lol. It's hauntingly beautiful but I wonder what Kensei will have to do to repair his relationship with Shuhei? In a way I could see Shu coming back without even a word simply because it is Kensei but I also think having Kensei chase him off for continuing down the path of obedience to other people's ideals might serve to nip that in the bud.

What a wonderful story and I hope you choose to write a second oneshot with a continuation, perhaps from Shu's point of view?

Love your stories and this one is no exception. I loved the more...subdued?... tone: more reflective and the evolution from anger to resoluteness on Kensei's part was particularly nuanced. I also find it amusing that Kensei is always irritated with Renji in your stories. Please please please keep writing new stories or adding chapters to existing stories soon.

I'm glad Kensei decided to bring Hisagi back. Hisagi is a good man, a good lieutenant and he belongs to that squad. I just hope Hisgi thinks the same.
