Squeeeeeeee ... Glomp ... A new chappie is here ... Sounds like Nemu has a serious insecurity complex and I'm still hoping that Rangeku's reputation is due to speculative rumors and not fact. Hopefully Szayel doesn't over react (same can be said for Mayuri ... Though it might help with relieving him of his command at a later date if desired). Hopefully Isane doesn't get in trouble ~ figure it is kind of too late to make that wish in regard to Nemu. Still hope Szayel gets to be Rangeku's first and she gives him an adorable little cherub too. Still say Szayel deserves to have an adoring harem firmly on his side since he is so often mistreated and neglected.

Seeing the baby (babies) chaps will be great ... But watching the psychological development of the adults in this situation is great too ... Kind of want Szayel to be Rangeku's first so that a positive pregnancy result would catch him completely off guard ~ especially if everyone else insists that anyone could be the father of HER kid (until he explains that she was a virgin when she was with him for the experiment and he was her first ~ that would get several gasps and raised eyebrows at the very least ).

Still say a reluctant and flabbergasted Szayel deserves a devoted and adoring harem ... Even if he doesn't intend or plan to acquire one ... and I still say Rangeku deserves to be totally misunderstood because everyone is taking her at face value and making unsubstantiated rumors and speculations.

Hmmm ... Sounds like Unohana might get a little more involved than she originally intended. I so hope that Szayel is getting more emotionally invested than he realizes since the emersion into his own emotions is taking place so slowly. I'd still love to see poor neglected Szayel get a loving harem who all adore him (and whom he adores in return).

Seeing how he reacts to several expectant potentials would be nice ... I'm not fond of miscarriage but I do wonder how he'd react to one of the women losing the baby (nominate Soi Fon who could have a radical emotional reaction to both the pregnancy and the later loss ...) Would Szayel feel pain at the loss? Would he attempt to comfort the mother who miscarried (I.e. Be gentle and caring etc.). Would any of the shinigami (male or female view him differently in such a case?) How might the mom's feelings change in regard to him? If he saw various people 'looking down on or insulting' the pregnant women and he stood up for them in their 'delicate' condition that was brought about because of the experiment and was a plausible outcome that he was in denial of until several pregnancies resulted ... How would everyone (participants and non-participants) view his reactions?

If he's being the whispered 'talk of the town' I'm wondering if any of the shinigami males are jealous or at least somewhat envious. ... Also wondering how the next captains meeting will go. Will any of the squads change their opinion on the experiment ... Be more supportive since a second pregnancy (or more) have occured.

Sounds like Szayel and Rangeku might have developed somewhat of an interest in each other; even if it is hidden in both of their pasts and may be causing them to be in denial. I do feel as though they sort of need each other emotionally and it wouldn't take much to convince either to make just a little more room inside for each other.

Though it wasn't fully clear ... I do hope they actually DID go through with it to completion as Sayel has called it in the past ... Seeing a green-eyed little cherub with pinkish Rangeku like hair would be soooo cute. I'm still hoping that Rangeku was somewhat inexperienced before being with him ... and after his musing about how far she and Gin had gotten, he found out he himself had gotten further (a psychological one-up-manship for him to log ... and a reason for her to be somewhat more attached to him as well if he was her actual 'first time'). From his reaction to her I seriously doubt he'd push her away and might be trying to deny and hide his caring for her after her revelations during their warm-up chat. Please let her get pregnant too ... Hmmm maybe Soi Fon as well so we can see how he'd react to his theories being wrong ... and how he'd react if Soi Fon wasn't able to carry to term for one reason or another ... Kinda wonder how Soi Fon would react too. (would so want Rangeku to carry to term).

I'm not sure who is helping Rangeku on the outside ... But if it's her Captain I know in canon he isn't interested in any physical activities with her so ...

On the positive side it would give Nemu a companion instead of being in solitary confinement most of the time ... I know it might be a bit out there but it would be nice to see Szayel with his own little loving harem since he so often gets neglected ... It would be like he's making up for lost time in that area ... besides he does strike me as having the potential of being a (somewhat psycho) decent parent ... Given Mayuri and Nemu's family history I'd say Szayel would at least be a better parent than Mayuri ... I really can't see Szayel doing experiments on any of his mates (except possibly sexual experimentation), or using his own kids as test subjects (or letting Mayuri do so).

Still wonder if any of the 'test subjects' will request more rounds with him ... for physical OR emotional reasons ...

Hmmm ... Sounds like Szayel had a little flame in his heart for Miss Tia Haribel ... Of course that's just a guess. I can't speak for everyone but ... I, personally, would love to hear both their thoughts on what had just taken place.

I'm wondering if they stopped short or not, and if she compared his 'skills' to one or more from her past ... or if he was, to most peoples surprise, her first REAL time going all the way (if it went that far). I'm kinda hoping for him to have been shocked to find that he was her first, she had been in love with Gin but it had been platonic because she was the only one Gin had confided his little secret to (he was gay and at the time his own love was unrequited ... ).

I'd love to see him almost in shock if he really was her first and the timing was right for her to get pregnant ... he'd know he was almost definitely the daddy (which would blow his own theories out of the water) ... The only other options he could see would be someone else attacking her (hadn't happens before so not likely now) or the friend who's been trying to help her get over Gin (but he's been unsuccessful too ... and may have kept it completely platonic ... especially if that friend is Cpt Hitsugya).

He knew she was hiding a lot from him, at least at first. It would be great if they were able to bond emotionally (all three of them) and help each other heal in all ways. It does sound like they both got seriously rocked on an emotional level and need time to deal with it, but Szayel probably won't get the time he really needs for a little while since 'contestant number two' will soon 'come on down' ...

I can easily see Rangeku not opening up very much beyond the fact that seeing him reminded her of Gin's last minute sacrifice of himself to save her (Cpt Unohana would probably accept that as a valid excuse for Rangeku's emotional state). Of course she may open up more to her friend or just pull away a bit and try to work through it all herself for a bit because any new feelings she may have developed for Szayel and his 'surprisingly caring' words and actions plus the reminder that he was near Gin after Gin left with Aisen ... It all could have left her lost in a confusing and somewhat distressing maze of feelings. Still, it would be nice to see her and Nemu together to give each other mutual support ... and Szayel's surprise in himself at actually having enough room and love in his 'non-existent' heart for both of them (and his kids).

I still don't see Nemu as a mom type but Rangeku might be ... And I'm pretty sure any kids Szayel has will have him wrapped around their little fingers.

I'm loving this story ... and because he's so often neglected, Szayel deserves an adoring harem even if he didn't have any intention of that at the start. (Could you imagine half or more of the fighting class women in Soul Society being on the 'Save Szayel From The Twelvth and Death' bandwagon if Mayuri was overheard making that threat again? Lol ... Everyone would be shocked ~ including Szayel. His only stunned answer being ~ all I really did was listen ...). And seeing him stunned, shocked, and surprised is always kind of fun. Of course seeing him sort of sweet and caring is nice too. (I'm still holding out a bit of hope that he was Rangeku's first and only and results in a pretty little bun in her oven ... much to his dismay).

Wonder what Mayuri has decided in regard to the new pregnancies ... Exactly where the moms-to-be will be lodging and visitation rights during pregnancy). Also Unohana's findings of each pregnancy ... (want Nemu and, if possible, Rangeku to carry successfully to term but if a third gets pregnant by him I wonder how he would deal with a mid-term miscarriage ~ and if he'd try to help the mother deal with her own emotional loss ... He seems like he might be there for her emotionally if she was having his kid ... At least to some degree ~ can't see Mayuri being overly caring or supportive though). If that happened I could see Szayel having an unexpected fanclub and Mayuri dodging a very angry lynchmob.

Hmmm ... Must be in summer school and getting close to mid-terms or finals ... So want to see what happens next ... Who 'visits' Szayel next ... If any other pregnancies result ... Szayel's shocked and stammering reaction to a second pregnancy that was more than likely (if not undoubtedly) his ... His stunned reaction would be priceless ...

Sigh ... Lost my last review ... Will try to remember it all ...

Hmmm ... Sounds like Szayel wants a pretty little princess to pamper, spoil, and dote on.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that a massively misunderstood Rangeku (all the rumors of her promiscuity are just that ... Rumors ... She's never 'done it' with anyone and Gin was totally platonic but she still had a massive crush on him when he left with Aisen) will get pregnant because she volunteers).

Would be interesting if Rukia and Orahime found out and for various reasons volunteered ~ especially if Rukia and Ichigo had an argument and that was her reason, Orahime did it in support of Rukia ... and both had 'prefect' timing ~ test positive.

Kind of wonder if Soi Fon isn't having a very difficult pregnancy already ... A friend of mine had severe morning sickness through all of her pregnancies and had to be confined to bed for the last trimester because it was so bad ... If he finds out and was extra caring and attentive when permitted near her it might change several person's views of him ~ including hers.

Wonder if the evolution to the human-type form made the gametes viable with humans and shinigami at this stage ... Thereby throwing off his initial hypothesis. It would also be interesting to see him subcontiously respond more protectively and possessively toward those carrying his offspring once his animal side subliminally picked it up (though his evolved self doesn't realize it or notice any change in his behavior). This could besomewhere around the third or fourth month of pregnancy). The candidates who test positive but got that way from different guys (soon before or after being with him) would not elicit the same behavioral changes ... Raising speculations from observers about the reason which would have to be tested and confirmed by paternity tests when it is safe).

Can see Yamamoto being pulled in and supporting Unohana's side much to Mayuri's annoyance and causing much snarling on his part.

Glad to see Akon is more or less on Unohana's and Nemu's side.

*bites nails* i didn't kill your muse with that last review did I? *whimper*

my whole long review went caplui, so i'll just say this 2nd attempt that i hope szay & nemu get some private time & that their reunion was surprisingly sweet. the scene w/the women comparing notes on sex was funny yet icky on behalf of main pairing at the same time. update soon.
