I have fallen hard for Grimmjow/Ichigo stories, there aren't many around, especially not multi-chaptered and as well written as your story is. I have read The Real King at least twice now and i excitedly look for new updates each week. It doesn't matter to me which male is on top or bottom, i like them either/both ways. Although, i agree that there are way more submissive Ichigo than Grimmjow and it's nice to see a powerful Ichigo as Alpha. I like how Grimm and Ichi are staying so committed to each other, their son and pack. They make a good team. Ah, that's about it for now, i'm not great at reviewing but i had to let you know how happy i am with your story, thank you so much for taking the time out to write and share it with us. I'm very much looking forward to reading more from you. Happy Easter =)

Yylfordt threw me though a loop, at first it was, wait didn't he die? Then it went, ooohhh how is Grim going to react to getting one of his fraction back
And truthfully because Szayel pipped up and got them actually mess with Kurotsuchi. I hope he ends up dead, painfully dead. I really have Kurotsuchi, and Szayel is still peeved he took over his labs.

Which makes we wonder, if Yylfordt spoke up and kept an eye on his brother before Aizen when his brother was part of the pack, will he do the same now they aren't forced in Aizen's unnatural city state. They might not like each other, but they are still family.
Which is probably very rare in hollows considering their evolution and the munching.

This was an exciting chapter. Always happy to see Mayuri fouled up. I must admit to being totally blown away to find out who Tesla's mate is. He is one of the last characters that I would have guessed. I imagine that the rescue squad waiting at Urahara's end are going to be a bit surprised when a bunch of nude people start showing up. I hope that Uryuu doesn't let his anger and resentment lead him to make unwise choices when confronting the enemy. I hope that we get to find out about everyone's cubs. As always, looking forward to the next chapter.

it will be interesting to see Mayuri and company get their asses trounced soundly ... they deserve it. It will also be interesting to see the reunion of Szayel with his brother ... and their reactions to each other's family situations (wonder if this is Yylfordt's first baby.... It will also be interesting to see what his reaction is to the newly discovered information about his brother. How will the newly released hollows respond to the welcoming committee ... lol ... and will they graciously accept Kisuke's hospitality until they are strong enough to retake Hueco Mundo? will any others decide it is safe enough to mate if allowed to hang out in the basement? I have the feeling that Mayuri was making bad choices when selecting the mating couples ... most likely one was far too strong for the other so either not of interest or else just viewed as an annoyance and food ...

Stupendous update! I swear every time I look at this story I fall more in love with it ^.^ I can't help but wonder how our little kitten will react when he becomes a bit of a big brother lol. Oh I have so many ideas drifting around my head that might happen in this story... I can't wait for more!

Wow I haven't read or reviewed in a while, I just read four chapters. I am really glad that Szayel's (sorry for the spelling) egg was laid successfully and that thay will both probably be okay. I love this story the most out of any other fiction in any category. You keep the characters so in character, but you also have them growing, changing, and reacting to everything in a way that is totally believable and the way I would think that they would change. I love that you have more characters to work with, now that they are back in the world of the living. I really like Karin's interactions with Grimmjow and Szayel. And, yes, some very missed Grim and Ichi goodness, very nice.
It sounds like you have a very healthy and active baby kicking away in there. You have been awesome in updating fast, even when you are tired or not feeling well, and I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate it so much because this is an amazing story. I hope all is well and the baby isn't kicking too hard. My daughter use to constantly push her feet into my ribs and my son would kick the crap out of my bladder, so I feel for you. You are amazing and very talented and gifted, keep up the amazing work and I hope you feel better!

I must say I really am impressed with your ability to keep the characters in... well character, haha, and show growth in their personality according to the experiences and interactions with other characters that arise.

Man, you really had me going, I thought that poor Szayel was going to lose his third egg! I'm glad that they were able to save both and can't wait to see what will be hatching out from it soon.

The little bit about Karin's smug expression about lending the field to the seniors had me snickering. I know this story is mostly centered on Ichigo and Grimmjow but I just love how you portray her. So many others like to portray her as a bipolar super happy/extremely angry girl... it's nice to see her showing maturity.

But yes, loving the hot action between Ichigo and Grimmjow. I wonder if Grimmjow will ever get the chance to dominate, haha.

Will Harribel be in this Fic? She's still alive, judging on the recent Bleach Chapter.

Hmmm ... With Nel available I might change my second option of Starrk and Ulquiorra to Nel and Nnoitra (we know Kurotsuchi could be a jerk like that) but he'd probably keep the Starrk Ulquiorra option as a third pairing once he's let the 'traditional' male-female pairs have a go at it ... and he'd then see of there were any noticeable differences if both parents were male since there were very few females available in the first place. (sorry, I am limited to CN fare so am still mid-way through the Zanpakto revolt and winter war).

I'll admit I was worried about the egg, glad both survived. It looks like Isshen likes Szayel somewhat but probably more like a son-in-law than lover at this time. Karin and Szayel seem to hit it off ok as well. To be honest, once he heals (since Byakuya isn't an option) it would be interesting for him to get it bad on the only other obvious 'beta' in the group ... Yuzu. Especially if Karin admits to having a crush on two other guys ... Toshiro and Chad. It would be hilarious to see Yuroichi and/or Kisuke make H'Tsu submit ... and I'd still love to see someone make Zangetsu's heart twitter. Hmmm ... Actually I've heard Retsu can be awesomely terrifying if pressed ... wonder if she could 'tame' H'Tsu...?
