Huggles, still hoping Szayel will slowly shift to female during the last half of his pregnancy (hormonal changes might take that long to show outwardly).

Still adore the baby. Glad Grimmjow has accepted Szayel.

It will be interesting to see everyone's reactions on both sides when the pack returns to the land of the living.

I totally love your fic! It's the best IchixGrimm fic I've ever read, and I've tried a lot, but they just didn't do it for me. Also, I don't want to seem rude or weird or anything, but I think it's totally sweet that you're expecting given the story with Cacharro (hope I spelled that right) finally hatching, and Sayzel expecting. It's great! I can't wait to see what happens when they return to the human world. Also, I was wondering if Cacharro would ever take a human form before he's fully grown like maybe as a toddler or an maybe even an infant still, just curious. :D

Too bad Yuzu can't see her new nephew (she'll probably complain, and Isshin would have Urahara make something so she could see him, like a camera that takes pictures where spiritual beings are visible in them or something like that.) because she'd probably have the same reaction as Orihime probably would and squeal at how cute and fuzzy he is. And Isshin would bounce around in joy and rant at Masaki's about their new grandson.

If you see fit to have Szayel shift to full female eventually it would be interesting to see a shift in interest in him because of his change. Such as Ichigo may have had a very slight interest just because he WAS the right gender ... but now isn't. Grimmjow and possibly H'Tsu being more bi- in orientation might have an interest in both genders but might have a slight preference for one rather than the other ... like H'Tsu might have a mild preference for males because he does like to be rough and males can handle it better ... Grimmjow might have a mild preference for females because ... what kitty would pass up a ready supply of fresh cream if he could get it (can so see Grimmjow attempting to sneak a sample while Ichigo is otherwise occupied ...). That leaves stoic Zangetsu ... now what if he is straight as an arrow and thinks the female Szayel is the most heartstoppingly desirable female he's ever laid eyes on ... kind of brings out his knight in shining armor mode with the armor hiding the fact that he's become a walking embodiment of lust (of course we all know Zangetsu would still be a gentleman about it when trying to seduce and charm the female Szayel). Just seeing Ichigo having to deal with all three aspects would be hilarious and seeing Grimmjow still be heavily interested in Ichigo but showing some definite ...interest... in Szayel's changes (first natural born beta he's actually been around).

Hope you got a laugh out of the last couple of reviews. I just kept getting the image of Ichigo suddenly discovering the 'all boys' club he's been living amongst for the last month+ (Ichigo, Grimmjow, Zangetsu, H'Tsu, and Szayel) has suddenly been invaded by a girl ... or almost girl ... because Szayel changed. In regard to the idea of him shifting genders to 'lay' the egg ... his only successful laying was when Szayel was still a dual gender adjucas. He may not have gotten to the point of shifting (or had the energy needed due to starvation) when he miscarried H'Tsu's eggs. It could be that the genetic shift gradually happens during the second month. It is also possible that any shift might be accelerated by the now nursing cub of Grimmjow's. The unexpected and accelerated internal shifts might cause Szayel to have a false impending miscarriage scare. Ichigo might be watching Grimmjow for any signs of shifting as well as himself because this shift of genders thing has him a little freaked out ... it's a new discovery about the Espada class arrancar. Even if it only affects a few ... he isn't sure he won't be one of the few affected in such a way...

Hope everything is looking up.

Actually sequential would probably make more sense because H'Tsu would have noticed if Szayel had a deviation of that variety and probably would have at least questioned it before found out. But don't want to traumatize Ichigo too much ... seeing boobs would be enough ... if he noticed 'it fell off (or went missing more or less)' because of the transition he'd probably have a nervous breakdown wondering if it might happen to him ....because of H'Tsu also being a hollow. He doesn't know for sure that all high level arrancar aren't like that because they once had both genders blended.

Love the baby ... and it would be interesting to see both boys taking an interest to one degree or another in Szayel's changes ... not that their interests would be the same. It would also be interesting to know H'Tsu's and Zangetsu's reactions. Ichigo has been more or less confirmed gay, but is H'Tsu? It would be hilarious if Zangetsu was straight but had to resign himself to Ichigo's preferences. Grimmjow has already silently admitted to being attracted to females but obviously doesn't mind male partners ... so he qualifies as bi ... will he be curious? (and what kitty doesn't like a little fresh milk on occasion ... poor Szayel).

If we get to vote ... I'd love to see the reaction of everyone if Szayel does a shift from male to female ... at least until the cubs are all weened. The shift doesn't have to be all at once but it would be hilarious to see Ichigo and Grimmjow's shock at noticing that Szayel is slowly starting to get a softer and rounder shape ... they don't make a habit of checking his package out so it might not be noticed very quickly that certain parts are ... growing inward (pre-egg laying changes ... Szayel gets to have labor the female way ...) of course if he is now wearing clothes all the time certain changes might go unnoticed for quite a while. It would just be so funny to have Ichigo walk in to the bathroom saying the cub is hungry ... only to stop short and stare at the half-dressed Arrancar towel drying his(?) hair and suddenly go a bit pale ... "uuhhh ... You have ... boobs!" Of course Grimmjow is impatient and annoyed because it's taking Szayel too long to come out and feed the baby so he brings the whining baby to Szayel ... stopping short and staring. "Damn man you got a rack. Where'd ya get a set of knockers like that?"

Needless to say Szayel tends to wear his clothes a bit loose so the physical changes aren't as noticeable until such an event.

But that is just what I'd find humorous ... either way my vote is for sequential. and love the kitten ... still hoping Szayel gets twins that do NOT take after their daddy.

This chapter was adorable and funny. I like how Grimmjow went into instant protective mother mode, especailly after what the cub did to Szayel xD Who knew Grimm had it in him?~
I can't wait to see what happens next ^^

Absolutely fantastic chapter! I keep a tab of the latest chapter open and refresh it every few days so I don't miss a thing >w< I can only imagine how cute the little cub is right now, as how cute Grimmy and Ichigo look with the little one~ The breast-feeding thing was unexpected, but not unwelcome, too.
