So glad Grimmjow is finally getting a clue ...

Hmmm .. Ichigo can manifest Zangetsu at will? It would be great if Zangetsu appeared to focus on caring for and comforting Szayel (to punish H'Tsu, calm and comfort Szayel, and give Grimmjow some security that he isn't 'sharing' Ichigo). Of course if Zangetsu is there it probably means that Ichigo and H'Tsu are having a battle royale where ever they are ... it also means that H'Tsu might be able to manifest as well (either with or without Ichigo's permission).

Would still love to see ...

1. Grimmjow's cub bond with Szayel or Szayel's egg/cub (gets image of Szayel cowering in terror as a clumsy kitten toddles over and "mew?")

2. Szayel have an impending miscarry scare that even gets Grimmjow concerned. Maybe getting them back to the human world to seek help or dragging Kisuke and/or Ishen to Hueco Mundo to care for the stricken mama and egg.

3. Grimmjow reluctantly agreeing the are formally a pack ... so long as Szayel remembers that Ichigo is Grimmjow's private property (even if Grimmjow is 'just' the beta). ... might make use of Zangetsu's manifested form (lol ... imagine Szayel's glee at being part of the first Hollow/Shinigami-Zanpacto mated pair), or if Szayel gets to meet Kisuke and/or Ishen he might happily cuddle up to one of them. (could you see H'Tsu having a fit at being tossed aside for any of those options? Heck, after what he just read, Grimmjow might be willing to try to be both Ichigo's beta and Szayel's alpha at the same time ... could you see Ichigo's expression at the mention of that option?

4. Hope Ichigo gets it through to Grimmjow that as far as Ichigo is currently concerned Szayel is "earning his right" to be part of the pack by being Ichigo's tutor so he won't be swamped with homework when they do finally return home (giving Ichigo more time to cuddle with Grimmjow and be daddy to the cub).

Hmmm ... So it takes 60 days? ... Can see that being about right for Szayel's egg to hatch since he should be less than a week along due to the miscarriages; but since Grimmjow says it will only be 15 more days until hatching it means the egg was laid 15 days ago. And if Ichigo told his teachers he'd be back in 1 month when he got his assignments, that would indicate Grimmjow laid very soon after they arrived and Szayel would have only 'caged' him a couple of days ... unless Ichigo perhaps said 6 weeks instead of 1 month ... allowing for a couple days travel time, a couple days setting up den and nest, then a week or so for the 'caging' before H'Tsu gained control of Szayel and Ichigo and Grimmjow got away. Which would also mean that Grimmjow was only 2 weeks along when they arrived in Hueco Mundo ... think that is the timeline confusion that has been mentioned ... though Grimmjow might amend his time estimate by saying that based on Szayel's species the average pregnancy for a butterfly (insect - bug) type is 60 days ... while Grimmjow, being a large mammal type, tends to have an extra 2 to 4 weeks of development. (would also give Grimmjow a chance to give the excuse that he really doesn't like eating insect-types and therefore Szayel is low on the desirable eats list ... but if nothing else is available ... ~ allows him to talk himself into putting up with Szayel for however long).

I'm glad Grimmjow has come to some senses. It'd be lovely to see the cubs getting along in the future. I'd also love to see prideful Grimmjow trying to make up to Ichigo. XD

Aww, Grimm-Kitty grows a conscious! I must say I can't wait for the nxt chapter, I really didn't expect the turn of events you took with Sayzel-but I LOVE how its turning out.

This is really one of the most unique stories I've ever read with the two. (It doesn't help that there is a very sad lack of Semi-Ichi/Uke-Grimm

Half wonder if Grimmjow and Ichigo will have a heart to heart about the memories Ichigo got from H'Tsu and the treatment of Szayel ... if the memories are distressing enough to obviously bother Ichigo for a while. Also wonder if Grimmjow and Szayel might talk some while Ichigo is out getting food, supplies, and maybe more bedding (figure Szayel will bleed through on occasion and the nesting materials and uniform will need occasional replacing until he's more or less healed). Just figure that cats are curious creatures ... and for all he is, Grimmjow is nothing but a huge cat filled with innate curiosity ... and he'll at least want to know what H'Tsu did to shut 'Pinky' up so quickly and so effectively. Kind of wonder if Szayel's recounting (confirmed by Ichigo's memories) will actually bring about some compassion from Grimmjow (especially if Szayel has a scare or two concerning another possible miscarriage ~ H'Tsu did a pretty intense number on Szayel psychologically in regard to another miscarriage and the consequences of it happening again). Grimmjow would also see Ichigo's concern and distress in that situation.

I love this story! It really is excellent, once I stumbled upon it I couldn't stop reading.
I like how you've made Ichigo the dominant one. I never see that even though HE was the one that beat Grimmjow rather than the other way around. I've also never seen a m-preg with Grimmjow carrying. You've managed to make it realistic, in that it makes sense biologically for his hollow. I never really got into m-preg for Bleach but you make it work.
There are a few grammatical errors but it's usually not so bad to the point that I can't tell what you mean. There is one thing though. You mentioned that once the egg is laid it needs less than a month to hatch (I think it was three weeks) but when Ichigo escaped the labs the egg is laid and he lets 3.5 weeks(24-25 days) pass before he merges the rest of his soul. And the day he merges with Hitsu and Zan, Grimmjow is talking to the egg and says that he can't wait to see the cub and that there's only 15 days left. That's more than 3 weeks-a month of waiting so I think the time line is a bit off. I may be wrong though, but that might be something you want to clarify if I'm wrong just in case some of your other readers think the same thing.
I'm really enjoying your story and looking forward to reading more of it. I just wanted you to know your efforts in writing it are appreciated.

Yay I finally read all of it! I must say this is one of the few stories I really like! Poor Szayel...I know he was mean to Ichigo and Grimmjow, but still...he didn't deserve to miscarry twice! Stupid H'Tsu! I hope Ichigo kicks your ass! Take better care of your Beta you jerk!
But anyways I am looking forward to seeing what happens next! Keep up the good work!

If Szayel ends up needing emergency help with healing/pregnancy issues and Ichigo ends up having to take him back to the human world along with Grimmjow, egg/cub, and several food packets ... Szayel's potential for a non-hollow mate definitely increases since his basic requirements seem to be

1. Intelligence - Zangetsu is intelligent enough to still be a training and moderating presence for Ichigo, Ishen is a doctor and former captain (so it is presumed he is smart), Kisuke is the former lieutenant of the stealth force and captain of research and development ~ and he seems to still be doing R&D while in the human world.

2. Strength - all three have achieved bonkai, two are captain level fighters and one is a 'living weapon'

The only real negative side is that they are either 'retired' shinigami or shinigami weapon encased in the body of a pseudo-shinigami ... so Szayel would just have to suck it up and accept a mate 'from the other side'.

Also it can be noted ... aside from a few Kisuke/Youroichi, Kisuke/SoiFon, and at least one abusive Ishen/Ichigo fic I don't recall many stories with any of those three in relationships ... so any one of them with Szayel would be a rare pair.
