I've been loving these night before chapters and the bittersweet, introspective and even painful characterizations (not bad ones,just that the characters themselves will have much to deal with in the aftermath).

Thanks to you I'm now head over heels for Toshiro x Harribel. I really can't get enough there. Nanao x Stark was a pleasant surprise. Reading Syazel x Nemu was never forced. I felt it evolved naturally for that chapter. Still wanting Aizen to be raped by Yammy for all of this.

I may be that one weirdo who really wants more Rangiku x Nnoitra but you provoked that odd curiosity and now I can say I'm anticipating what happens with them the most. He can't be all bad can he? You humanized him more, even if he is an incorrigible git.

Nel & Renji

Another great chapter!!!! It was great not sure if Blackfox wrote this one I know you mentioned she's written the Renji chapters. It was great and I really like how Nel arrived in Renji's inner world the way she had it was awesome! You did great work Nova and Blackfox! Hope you two are well!!!

@Chapter 90: I love Grimmjow's now frills take on the situation. His blunt observations are often good for a laugh, given that they're usually spot on in some regard. His resignation to being Ichigo's brother-in-law was funny, as well as the fact that he plans use his possible grandfather status in the future as bragging rights. It was interesting that Grimmjow picked up on the frustration of Ichigo's inner Hollow, at being denied the opportunity to claim Rukia and knock her up with his cub.

And then, you dear, you included Ajuga and Diaemus, and made the chapter even better. I cannot say enough how much I ship these two. Their not-quite-yet romance is seriously adorable. It's nice to see that Grimmjow has finally settled down about the whole consort issue, and is fine with them spending time together and getting closer- provided there's no fooling around! Lol. Again, Diaemus really is the ideal 'boyfriend' for the daughter of a protective father like Grimmjow. I loved the scene of three of them bonding over some freshly slaughtered deer- and the fact that they cleaned up and put the leftovers in Yuzu's freezer so she could make venison.

Can't wait to see how things play out next.

Comment from mid-read of the Toshirou/Hallibel chapter:

Hallibel says "We Arrancar will be subject to your laws, not ours. You will outrank me and this pack will technically belong to you, not me."

Dayum! None of the other Arrancar have mentioned this! Has it occurred to them? But wait, there was talk of Starrk being in charge. If so, his perspective seems to be to maintain the Hollow status quo, with the Arrancar in charge and maintaining their Claims. Why is Hallibel assuming that shinigami/human mores will apply when they win?

Chapter 88-89: Aww. The whole scene with Renji and Nell was *ALL* the feels, so touching. It was really moving when he talked to his unborn son, and after reading "Kitsune Wedding", its so obvious how much these two love each other.

As for the next chapter: I enjoyed the interplay between Toshiro and Halibell. And as much as the though of her as a sub might appeal to some, I loved it more that Toshiro was emphatic that they would *always* be equals, no matter what anyone says. He's grown into such a good man.

Toshiro and Renji are both gonna such good poppas!

Can't wait to reed the next chapter.

Okay, so now that I've had a bit more time to think about what Hallibel said, I figured out where I was confused: I read Hallibel's words as saying that all of the Arrancar were going to abdicate all power and follow human rules. But that wouldn't be possible as long as any of the less-tamed Arrancar remain, because someone has to be the top Arrancar to control the others.

I don't think I agree with Hallibel's assessment that the Arrancar will be living by human rules: Humans and Arrancar will have to make new rules that will work for all of them.

Regarding the blank asauchi thing: I fucking LOVE it when you fill in holes that Kubo Tite created or left alone. The manga does not adequately address how shinigami get their zanpakuto. There was that idiocy in the movie starring Hitsugaya, but that didn't truly address the whole 'where do zanpakto come from' issue. The idea of a blank blade that takes on the aspects of its wielder's soul is fitting. Well done!

Oh, and this chapter reminds me: I wanted to congratulate you again on writing a story good enough that I'll read the het parts. You're the only author for whom I visit again when the story contains het. Well done on that, too!

As I read the latest chapters, I was surprised and amazed anew that all of this started years ago with a one-shot about Ulquiorra winning the fight. I'm so glad you continued and developed this epic tale!

Am I mistaken in remembering in a few earlier chapters between Haribel and Toshiro that Hard Haribel and alluded to Toshiro, as he has grown into adulthood, doesn't even realize how powerful he is? (I may be remembering incorrectly. ..) but if that's the case, could there be a potential set up between Toshiro killing the second ? Perhaps even coming to the rescue of Haribel(and Soi Fon as Haribel will be watching her) ?

Who will be the one to take out Aizen? As this really isn't and Ichigo - centric story I would not automatically think him. Maybe a tag team of Ichigo, Grimmjow, Karin and Starke? Let's not forget Gin. I certainly hope you have something up your writing sleeve for him too.
Anyways, just wanted to let you know how much I'm loving this and am already sad when I think the story is coming to a conclusion.

Cute chapter, but you are starting to worry me with all of these last second apologies the "heel-faced turned" Espada are making for their actions,almost makes me think one of them is going to bite it in the upcoming fight. Curse my love for femslash but I am sooooooo freaking curious about how Appaci and Mila rose grew so close to there pets in such a short amount of time. I get that they are more side characters if anything but any chance of a one shot explaining how things progressed to that point within a week of knowing each other? And I probably should have asked this back in part 1 but given their preference for women why didn't Appaci or mila rose claim Rangiku after the war since she was the one who initially fought them and managed to hold her own for a time instead of leaving her up for grabs? I can just imagine the snark and sass between her and one of them if things had gone that way lol. Also curious about how Lloydght and Michiko came to be sooo adorably close. He does not strike me as the type of hollow to forcibly claim someone so I assume he seduced her the old fashioned way and gave her a choice?

From this point onward I am seriously going to stop inquiring about the fate of the Arrancar after the battle and I am putting my soap box away so no more speeches on morality as well for the foreseeable future.

Regardless of what happens, know that I love this story and it is my favorite bleach fanfic, and major props to you and Black fox for crafting this amazing tale.
