Quick question ... When ISN'T Aizen an asshole?
Hope you are feeling a little better. Was hoping the 'repulsive three' would survive and be exiled somewhere they could be trapped in perpetual torment for eternity.
Glad Karin's rescue is getting closer.

This was one great chapter, I must say! I loved the talk between Grimmjow and Ajuga, and Yachiru drawing bloody figures was simply adorable. Grimmjow turned out to be smarter than I thought, with him using the little girl to find Urahara's stuff. I'm surprised that Grimmjow was able to stay that calm, but he's not the Grimmjow from the past, so of course he now thinks before acting.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that Yammy will die. Don't get me wrong, I hate Aizen too, but Yammy I simply despise from the bottom of my heart. There aren't many fanfic characters I hate so much, but him I can never NOT hate.

And please, for the love of anything holy, is it possible for Byakuya to get his vocal chords healed? That would make me the happiest reader in existence, I swear. It's just that I've been hoping for this ever since I started reading PoV... so yeah, I hope that will happen. q.q

Dear Nova:

You've mentioned that you already have the ending in mind for the ending of the story. And while I wouldn't presume to tell you how to write your own story, there is one thing that's been on my mind for a while, since I started reading the first PoV back around December of last year...

Specifically, Aizen's death.

I'm not going to suggest the method by which he's going to die. However, there is one bit of input I'd like to offer: considering how massive the man's ego is and how he looks down on everyone else, his singular obsession with gaining absolute power, and his lack of compassion for anyone else. When he's finally defeated by those he viewed as "inferior", that he realizes that he's not the perfect god-like being that he believed himself to be.

I want Aizen to realize, before he dies, that HE engineered his downfall. I want him to die with the certain knowlege that it was HIS fault- BECAUSE of HIS hubris and his sense of superiority to those around him, that he's failed. In his last moments, I want Aizen to stand defeated, as all his plans and dreams come crashing down around him.

And if he doesn't "die" outright, because of the Hyogaku (probably misspelled that), then the power of the Orb should make it so that he's condemmed to suffer for eternity, trapped in a Hell of his own making.

*choke* So Byakuya gets back the 6th, but Yammy taints that as much as everything else?!

Dood, seriously, there is *no* pain, no hurt, no beat-down that you can afflict Yammy with that will satisfy me.

And I think I mentioned before that the clan elders are equally as vile and deserve comparable punishment. I stand by that assertion. They are irredeemably vile and should be eliminated.

Glad that Yumichika and Ggio will get a small break, but worried for Barragan's alleged third pet.

Please, even if you've already planned Yammy's and the Kuchiki elders' comeuppance, make it harsher. Pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease!

And lastly, potential daily updates?! My head and hearts just asploded from anticipation.

Thanks for sharing, and please excuse any of my currently intoxicated typhon... er, typos.

@Chapter 72-73: It was nice to see the aftermath of Nanao being claimed. First, it was nice to check back in with Tatsuki and Ran- and to see how the newest member of their growing household is doing. Aside from some mild embarrassment, Kamoka seems to have adapted pretty well to her new situation. Really, it seems like everyone living in the new digs that Nnoitra secured are preoccupied with the arrival of the four cubs. And given that none of them are involved in the planned coup, it makes sense that Soifon would chose to leave her child in their care- as a precaution.

Aside from that, I got a chuckle out of the scene where Nanao gathers up the officers to speak candidly with them about the prospect of being claimed in an Arrancar in the coming days. The fact that they've lived with the Arrancar for so long that the Shinigami training actually includes being talked to about what to expect was rather funny, in a dark kind of way. Though, the general societal view of the Arrancar seems to have shifted to such an extent that a number of them seem excited by the idea- though all the pregnant Shinigami's remarks on how awesome claiming sex is probably has something to do with this. I guess after living with them for sixteen years, for some, the Arrancar aren't viewed as monsters and boogiemen any more.

I found Stark's shyness rather endearing, even as Lilinette is being as blunt and tactless as ever. The picnic was a much needed break for everyone, and it was also a chance to see how well Iemura and Sungsun are getting along. When Lilinette 'confronted' Nanao about her interest in starting a family with Stark, her realization was rather moving... My only concern is how they're going to explain to Hana that "Uncle" Stark is now effectively her stepfather. Not that I think she'd be that upset, but I imagine trying to explain it in way that wouldn't be awkward for Stark and Nanao. And on a smaller note, poor Jushiro... Seriously, the poor guy is such a woobie. He badly needs someone in his life, so that he doesn't keep feeling so old and useless. Though, I keep getting this possessive vibe from Lilinette, over him, but that might just be me.

One one hand, I was kind of upset by the idea of Halibell's Fraccions moving out, but then that house had be getting pretty cluttered. It made me feel good to see that Soifon is bonding with Tia. That someone like Soifon would think nothing of placing the Espada's hand on her stomach- to feel her child moving inside her- really says a lot about how much she's changed as a person. It was also nice to see Yumichika again. Seriously, nothing can keep down that guys positive attitude for long. I was glad to hear that Ggio (another woobie, now that I think about it) is doing better, and that Aizen came by to personally tell Barragon that he's on his shit list, was also a bit of good news.

AND, the fact that the Sixth Squad is going to be reformed is also good news, as it means that it will provide an official reason to keep Byakuya- who's in the running with Gin for the top woobie position- away from Yammy as much as possible. It pretty depressingh, to think about just how far fallen and how broken as a man that Bya has become... To the point that EVEN Grimmjow can't bring himself to talk about it to Ichigo or Rukia.

Anyway, I hope we'll get to see Orihime and Ulquiorra again soon. I'd love to see how the two of them have been dealing with the news that their son has been made the Concert of Ajuga, now the Spirit Queen, given that this makes them Royals- as well as making them in-laws of both Grimmnjow and Ichigo!
