I can't say ‘finally, about time she got a taste of what others suffered’ OR 'Nooooo, I hate that you did that!' Both ideas aren't what I'm feeling at all. I really thought all readers would have seen it coming a mile away - Aizen is a bastard who has gotten everything he has wanted so far, so this should be no different. The chapter was very well written of an event that I already knew would happen, so to tell the truth it didn't affect me much. I'm much more interested in how Grimmjow is doing at this point than how Karin is holding up.
I can see this ending a couple possible ways right now, and I absolutely can't wait to see where you go with it!!!!! (Insert big 'squeeeee' right there, lol). At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if she DID end up pregnant by him, have the kid, and then save the child from being put on the throne and killed by him. Knowing her, she'd raise it and.........eh, I'm not so sure I'd like that outcome. lol. But I have faith that whatever you do will be brilliant!!!!
As always, thank you for the update!

SORRY
have not read new chapters yet as my fucking computer has been in the shop for the last 2 weeks. LITERALLY minutes before I started writing my review/prompt, my net crashed on me and I discovered after bringing my laptop in that my hardrive was done, finished, equalized, future endeavored. I lost everything on my computer and now am in the process of getting all the crap back..............twas A LOT of crap, so my review will hopefully be in Saturday morning at the latest.

*do please ignore the "prompt" mention in what i typed. I have been posting things similar to this in all of the stories I read and forgot to alter it for this.

Can I still be in denial about the whole thing? I swear I didn't think it'd happen. I still can't freakin' believe it. My heart is now broken into a million pieces. No, it was not about time she learned what others went through, because it's more like the others shouldn't have experienced it in the first place. Dammit, I refuse to accept this. *closes eyes, covers ears and shakes head in denial*

Why would anyone want something like to happen to Karin? If any of the readers were eagerly waiting for this, then they're horrible people. It was a forgone conclusion that this would likely happen, so I'm certainly shocked by it. Karin always knew that others were suffering around her... I mean, she spent all that time tending to Szayel after he was raped, just as she was there when he slit his wrist.
The chapter felt pretty short to me, compared to others. But then, as I was reading it, there were points where scenes started blurring- into this malaise of hopelessness and despair... So, I might have skimmed through it here and there.
On a lighter note, I went to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2", and it was amazing- you don't even need to have seen the first one to enjoy it. I'd recommend seeing it to the other readers!

This week's question- I wish it didn't have to happen to Karin but I understand that it makes sense for the plot. The scene was written with great sensitivity. Just let Aizen get what he deserves.

Loving the story in general, though the most recent chapter was distressing. I'm hoping that Karin's anger will and internal unwillingness will draw forth a heretofore unknown Royal Blood trait ... A strong and natural contraceptive due to her negative feelings toward the undesired partner. This would also give Unohana some natural protection against conceiving Aisen's child. Perhaps this could be a trait which Szayel discovers once the group return. I'm sure Grimmjow will be 'rather enthusiastic' about returning to Soul Society punctuated with snarls of what he wants to do to certain parts of 'Kami-sama' for distressing his darling damsel to the point of draining all of his power.
I honestly wonder if Karin could short out the bracelet, or maybe drain it. Aisen wouldn't necessarily know it was damaged or broken until too late (like getting close enough for Karin to possess him long enough to do himself enough damage to be in a looong coma. I know Abissara and Gin feel horrid about what they have been forced to do. Her getting in a good attack on Aisen would help them both feel better, especially if it is done at a critical time in the action so the 'good guys' can get in the coup de gras.

@Chapter 70: I was so busy that I lost track of time and realized that I'd missed reading the latest chapter until three or four days later. Given how much I enjoyed this chapter, I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to post this review.
I really loved the interplay between Diaemus and Ajuga. There were a lot of subtle little things, like how she's becoming increasingly more comfortable around him, as well as more keenly aware of his presence. The moment when Ajuga properly takes note of his scent is a nice call-back to Diaemus reaction to her blood. I really love the relation that's developing between the two of them. Again, it's amazing to be able to find a fan story so well written that one of my OPTs is comprised of two original characters. He really is the perfect foil for her.
I hope they can find a way to repair Szayel's mask, and remove the threat of him reverting when Karin's claim wears off. Can't wait for when we finally get to see Renji and Nell's kid down the line. Also, I'm looking forward to seeing how Orihime and Ulquiorra are dealing with the recent news that their son is now the consort of the Spirit Queen, which makes them part of the Royal Family. It would also be nice to see how the different Households have changed since the "auction" occurred.
The ending brings up a point that I've wondered about... Which 'version' of Aizen is the real one? It could be argued that deep down, he was always this evil and twisted creature, and that everything he did around other was always just an act. Alternately, it could be said that the person we know as Aizen was just a persona, and that "Sousuke Aizen" never really existed. He's spent his whole (professional) life pretending to be someone he wasn't- wearing different masks around different people, as needed. Everything that was assumed about him could be false.
Case in point: he's achieved nearly all of his goals and attained god-like powers, yet he does nothing with them- except to keep the populace in check. He doesn't use his power to create anything, or do anything miraculous, he doesn't even seem to have any interests or hobbies- aside from that fucking SM torture dungeon! He seeks power over others, but his own comments reveals that he views everyone else around him with total contempt- referring to them as "ants beneath his feat". He maintains this pretense of benevolence, yet he regularly contradicts this with his actions. Really, about he only thing we know is undeniably true about him is his rampant egotism.

I don't know why, but I got the impression that Ryuuken might do something crazy and go after Karin? Either way, I loved the chapter, as well as those before it.
