Loved it! :) Can't wait for the next chapter! Quick question though - How far along are Rangiku and Tatsuki now?
On the book series, I'm in love with the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. Another good series is by C. L. Wilson, the Tairen Soul series.

@Chapter 49: Another great chapter. I'm glad to see that Diaemus is finally up and about. I have mixed feelings about this strike on the hive base, if only because I hate anything that furthers his own agenda. Still, I liked all the in-joke barbs that Karin kept throwing at Grimm. It was also interesting that Ulquiorra was the one to talk down Gimmjrow from getting himself killed, and the ensuing revelation that he was concerned about Ajuga. I did like the fact that he appreciates what she did on a personal level.
As for your question... Well, I'm 29, but back in middle school till about halfway through high school, I read the "Red Wall Abby" books by Scottish writer Brian Jacques. And throughout the rest of high school and into college, I read the Hobbit and all the Lord of the Ring books. More people really should read the books, as they're soooo much better than the movies.

Just finished ch42, and I want to let you know this is THE BEST Bleach fanfic I've ever read. In fact, it's one of the three best fanfics I've read in ten years or more,PERIOD. The other two are "Hearts of Ice" (Ranma 1/2) and "Temple of the Dog" (Inuyasha).
You, my dear, are incredibly creative and talented.

Oh my. I do love Ulquiorra's slow shift, and his son being the sort of 'last straw' is perfect. Very nicely done with this!
As for the question, yes! They really have changed, and it was a gradual thing, as it should be, from what they were. I enjoy that the most about this story. This chapter proved it more than the others, the exchange with Grimmjow and Ulquiorra especially.

I love this story! I have read POV1 and POV2 in a span of 3 days straight and I can't wait for more! Your details to the characters profiles, interactions, and there genetic makeup are envious. I think that Uliqiorra's change was more of the HOLY Sh** he's changed because I thought of him only changing in a family way. He tried to understand Orihime and be civil in relations to other espada dens through her. I saw the father-son discussion over Aizen coming but not Uliqiorra's reaction. I don't know why I thought he would side against his son on the matter. Maybe its the steadfastness protrayed in other fics? idk.
Question: Will there be any chapters on Barragan's and Yammy's mindsets? I am curious as to how hey feel about current change in alliances before the war to now. Also why they do what they do. There are character POVs that have discussed them but I don't remember one solely from their perspective. Maybe there is a backstory reason? Maybe before they are killed (speculation)? Or I can just imagine... you've written so much already.

Great chapter! I loved reading more about Ulquiorra's feelings and thoughts. To answer your question, the change in Grimmjow and Ulquiorra was gradual ( completely believable ). You did a great job at writing these two.
I can't wait for the next chapter when Diaemus wakes up... that should be interesting.

Another great chapter! And I hope all goes well with your tests- sending good vibes your way. Answering your question: they've definitely changed and for the better. It was something I noticed mainly along the way, the changes being most dramatic when they realized their mates were more then just pets and with the birth of their children. I love the way you've had them change as well. They still have their base personalities, they're just evolved into better versions of themselves.
