My deepest apologies for not reviewing before you introduced to so many awesome new pairings. I LOVE YOUR STORY! ..... anyways
I think that they both changed gradually into better people but I also noticed when there was some revelation made like Ulquiorra being proud of his son and Grimmjow giving his daughter advice. I really like the way you made both characters mature over the years.
P.S. Do you have a mailing group or a special mail address to tell readers when you update? because what I'm doing now is saving it as a bookmark and checking on it every couple days.

Chapter 48:
Lovely chapter and for once I don't have a whole lot to say in terms of a review, I think I burned myself out with that triple update review I gave lol. Glad to see the kid got home and despite my opinion of Ulq, it was heartwarming to see him so affected by his son's return. Will be interesting to see how the talk with Aizen goes.
This weeks Question: Well you know my opinion on Ulq, so I will primarily talk about Grimmow for this weeks question. From my perspective when it comes to Grimmjow, it's less to do with "changing" and more to do with him just showing what has always been there. Let me explain, the Grimmjow of old, even at his worst was at most a battle loving thug, but he was never a monster. He only went after a foe who could defend themselves and put up a reasonably decent fight and lived for battle but wasn't anywhere near as sadistic as his fellow hollows. His transition in this story feels very believable since even in canon he was never really evil guy,and here he has just been softened so too speak from having a family around him. Karin helped his attitude out a lot and she and Ajuga make him a better man. He is still the same person he has always been but his priorities have changed.
Now Ulq....I will admit over time he has noticeably changed in a few ways and has started to show more emotion and it is obvious that he cares deeply for his mate and son, but beyond that he is still a bit of a dick to most people lol. He still see's the bulk of the Shinigami(who he helped fuck over btw)as fodder and if Unohana wasn't Aizen's "wife" he probably would not show her even a tiny bit of the respect he does now. I am a bit biased when it comes to him so forgive me if I am overly harsh with my assessment over him but his were the more subtle changes as overtime he afforded Orihime(bless her ever forgiving soul)more freedom and and regretted how he treated her and started to lose his fanatical faith in Sosuke "douchenozzle" Aizen.
But I have a question of my own.........could you imagine how frighting Orihime would be if she had some killer intent and could actually hold a grudge? With her abilities bleach would be over soooo quick. Pity Kubo doesn't utilize her more.
And holy shit the Emperor is one scary mofo, Aizen gained his god complex over time, Yhwach was essentially born with his. I would love to see those two throw down.
Again, I hope you get well soon.
-waits patiently for next chapter-

Loved the update, thank you!
Absolutely, I feel Grimmjow and Ulquiorra have changed considerably since the start of POV1. Was the change gradual? Yes. That's what makes it more believable and such a good story. If the changes in each of them had NOT been gradual, I would have had the reaction that you mentioned and wouldn't care for the story half as much as I do.
Thanks again for the update, keep up the great work!

@Chapter 47: In response...
I'm glad to see from all the comments that I wasn't the only one thinking this. I was almost afraid to admit that I've been shipping these two for a while since I began reading PoV2. For me, there's a very 'fire and ice' dynamic between them.
I love the complexity of all the different relationships running throughout this series, and uniting the Cifer and Jaegerjacquez bloodlines would make for a powerful clan that NO ONE would mess with. I mean, Grim & Karin are already allied with the Stark-Ukitake household, and Ulqui & Hime are linked (by way of Orihime's friendship with Tatsuki & Ran) with Nnoitra's pack, not to mention that Szayel and Tia's families are aligned with Karin's family through their mutual interests. So the more the merrier, I say!

@Chapter 47: Damn, that was an awesome chapter! I really appreciate that you found the time to update, given how busy you've been. I loved the triple chapter updater before this. I'm so happy for Toshiro and Halibell, I couldn't help but want to send them my congratulations- along with a bottle of champagne! I was so relieved that you and Blackfox didn't bother with the typical Hollywood movie gimmick of blowing the misunderstanding out of proportions, and instead had them both acting like grownups- ie, talking it over.
As for the latest chapter... I have to say that I really enjoyed the interplay between Ajuga and Diaemus, the combination of the chemistry and the friction between them was quite interesting. AND, am I wrong, but was there just the faintest hint of sexual tension between them? I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but get that vibe, especially given how intimate the nature of him feeding on her was. And while it's not overt, circumstances have really forced the two of them to get closer in a short period of time. It was interesting that Diaemus' reaction to her blood/reiatsu was so different from what we've seen so far.
And come on, I can't help but love the idea of how annoyed Grim and Ulqui be by a relationship between their kids. It's funnier when I think that Karin and Orihime would probably be relieved, in spite of the fathers. Seriously, comedy gold!
I loved how dedicated Diaemus was in the last scene, pushing himself to limit- he's such a dutiful and caring son, the Cifers should be proud of their boy!

I've had the thought a few times that, as antagonistic as Ajuga and Diaemus are, they'd make a cute couple. Not sure if that's where you'll take them - and I'm not asking, promise - but it would be pretty neat. Haha.
Anyways, loved getting the glimpse at the two of them. Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Awesome chapter, as always. Although, in the first Prisoner's Dilemma chapter, I got confused on when Szayel told Harribel about Karin's Royal lineage. I didn't see it in the dialogue and may have missed in another part, but it took me a minute in the next chapter to understand how she knew about it.
Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Very intriguing plot development, I'm so happy to see we're finally edging toward the inevitable mutiny! Thanks for a compelling story. I share your frustration in working hard to put out a quality story and getting little feedback when others are crapping out garbage and drowning in reviews. Keep plugging away! Your hard work is appreciated!
