Oh and to your weekly question, I hate the Quincy storyline crap in the manga right now it sucks they suck and Uryu is going to turn against all his friends due to his "Quincy pride" bull. Although out was intriguing finding out Isshin's back story.

Very interesting chapter,Nice to see Grimm put his foot down with his kid and finally lay down the law. Loved the part where Grimmjow and Tesra were looking out the window trying to steer clear of an angry Karin about to verbally tear into her daughter lol. I could just imagine them whistling nonchalantly while doing it. Hell hath no fury like a Kurosaki women pissed.You have a incredible talent for humor when you are not obliterating our souls.I still laugh when remembering Szayel calling Nel a "tempest in a D cup". Almost got angry when Grmmjow referred to Soi as a "bitch" and used the term pet until I remembered.....that it's fucking Grimmjow, profanity and overall rudeness are apart of his genetic make-up and he probably does not see the offense..........although I would like to see the little bee take to task anyone beyond Barragan who had the cajones to call her that to her face. Just because Aizen could cancel out her attack does not mean everyone can lol. Also does her claim prevent her from using her Shikai's special ability against Barragan?

Meh really can't see Nnoitora and Rangiku getting a kid since such a lifestyle would not match either of their temperaments. And having a kid is not going to make things any more..."domestic" for them or erase the fact that Nnoitora is still unrepentant for essentially raping and confining her.

“Kami, could you imagine Nnoitra and Rangiku raising kids? I think they would pull their hair out by the end of the first year!” she laughed.

Oh Tatsuki, Tatsuki, Rangiku is not with the brute out of any semblance of choice and at this point is just going through the motions to avoid being harmed. A baby is not going to magically make them fall in love or make things any better. Or I could be over analyzing that scene and taking her joking out of context, do please correct me is I am. I love Tatsuki too much to be mad at her.

Glad were going to see a bit more of the Barragan household next chapter and seeing Soi, Yumi and Ggio plot to save the baby is going to be sick.

Now as for the Question: The only new Quincy's I am able to give a shit about are As Nodt and Bambietta. As Nodt because he is just a freaking scary badass who no selled Byakuya's attacks and curb stomped him while Bambietta is one hell of a sadistic and fierce female fighter and I have a soft spot for strong women.

And to answer your question; I think that Kubo did a good job with most of the espada. We have to remember he introduced 10 new characters to an already huge cast. The fights and such were already super long (I think the noi/kenpachi fight lasted like 3 episodes). There were some espada (Grimmjow and Halibel) that I thought were killed off a little too easily or early, but luckily we see that most of the espada that seemed to meet a premature end aren't dead. I'm just glad that he wasn't entirely done with them once Aizen was defeated. There were too many amazing characters to just leave them out for the rest of the series.

Well hopefully you posted this chapter from your bunker as I imagine a few people are still up in arms about the last chapter *hiding pitchfork*, as for your question of this week,that varied. Starrk I liked, got a fairly good fight. Barragon I felt got a suitable final battle, only being defeated due to his arrogant insistence on toying with his foes rather then, as you said, nuking the field, and surviving everything thrown at him with minimal harm save for his own power. Halibel...not too impressed by given that her battle was a one on one followed by Aizen being a complete SOB and trying to kill her for no reason. Ulquiorra definitely had exactly how strong he was shown but personally I thought Ichigo's new hollow form was pretty much an asspull by Kubo. Nnoitora I would say went down rather easily had it not been for the fact that his opponent was Zaraki Kenpachi, Grimmjow, eh it was a pretty epic battle. Szayel...no real comment, he was established as a credible threat if mostly due to his scientific skills, but the finale left much to be desired. Zommari, well his power was interesting but he rather disappointed, still at least he was better then the 9th who died against RUkia, at the time not even a fuktaicho. Yammy...well show me one person who doesn't consider the offscreening to be crap and I'll dispatch them even more eagerly then I would the brute himself!

Barrangans battle fit his personality.

He was an arrogant D-Bag with a sense of superiority bordering on the delusional.

It's only natural that he'd try to mind F his enemies and overlook his crippling weakness.

Ichigo only lost to Nnoitra because he was tired, if he was at full strength it would've been one sided in Ichigo's favor.

Lovely and sweet chapter. Definitely went a long way to healing the many wounds the last chapter left. There needs to be more happy sex lol. Any chance we can have a Ggio/soi scene? We know that those two have grown close in there shared misery but we don't get many scenes with just those two being together.

Now I will definitely agree with you that the Espada fights did not live up to the hype they were given. Here we are told that these Arrancar are the baddest of the bad....only for them to get what amounts to curb stomped and then for Aizen to try and finish off the ONE Espada that was able to keep going all because he felt she was no longer useful. If Starrk had a true desire to fight from the get go he may have actually won but he simply did not have the will and after Lillinet died he simply rolled over. Barragan survived Soi fons bankai twice and only died do to his own power. Now in regards to Nnoitora, while he gave an impressive showing, ya must remember that Ichigo had literally only a minute prior gone to war against Grimmjow and was nowhere near at his best, Nel reverted back to her child state before she could cause any real damage, and Kenpachi has that horrible habit of dragging shit out and once he got serious and noticed that he might actually freaking die he bested Nnoitora in a single move......although the whole 2 hands thing I felt was bull and it would have been an awesome time for Kubo to reveal his true Shikai at least. And in regards to Yammi he was also fighting people who were in less than stellar condition.

Also on a side note and does not have much to do with the above, can I just say that possibly my favorite fight during the whole arc was the Ichigo vs Grimmjow fight. Here you had two opponents, who at the time were very close to being equal in power going all out against each other. There was no sudden plot twist or super transformation, just two very similar in some ways, warriors tearing each other apart and both refusing to stay down. I think one of the things that endeared grimmjow to me so much was that he was almost a villainous dark reflection of Ichigo:

-mouths off to people much stronger than him and does not give a fuck what their rank is.

-Sheer determination against impossible odds( I mean seriously, could be at the point of death and still be able to throw down.

-Repays a debt and wont go after opponents that arent worth fighting anymore.......except for Ichigo who he will go to town with regardless of his condition lol.

That and he is the only person in 'canon' to defeat Ichigo TWICE( Ichigo would have been killed if Rukia and Shinji had not shown up during round 2, so yes I count that. Now don't get me wrong, I adore Ichigo but once his mask failed him he was getting his ass stomped and when he tried to reform his maks Grimm actually stopped to LET him and only continued the assualt when he noticed that Ichigo could not bring it back. and if this is wrong please correct me)

I also happened to notice that you put brackets around 'good guys', does that hold some relevance?

loved the Inuyasha reference by the way, and I agree, ya gotta make sure the guys head doesn't get to big.

Oh god I think I heard my heart break with this one. My hate for Yammy grows.

As I've been reading and reading and reading (I decided to re-read the whole first piece before starting this one) I started wondering if Grimm's blood was now considered "royal" since he sired a child by someone of the royal lineage. If it was, would the Swarm start going after him, too? Also, the Swarm is an EXCELLENT antagonist. Love them.

My thoughts on this story are far to many to post. I hate Aizen and Yammy with a passion that borders on insanity. Even if Yammy is tortured for 15 years I don't think I would forgive him for what he's done to Byakuya. I have totally forgiven Gin and wish that he could get out from under Aizen's thumbs. I'm actually happy for Toshiro. The whole relationship with Nano, Hana, Jushiro, Starrk, Grimm, Karen, Ajuga, etc is a wonderful one. The only positive thing that Aizen has done.

I'm terribly eager to find out what is going on with the exiles.
