And now we come to the sociopath with a god complex chapter.
Even with the massive power up he has received, a smile from Unohana can still freak him out a little. Sucks that he still prevented her from doing anything against him for so long by holding the well being of her squad against her.
And of course that prick would find amusement and get off on watching the Arrancar terrorize the Shinigami in the city, no surprises there. Despite knowing what is taking place in the city, Retsu showed a colossal amount of restraint in not trying anything.
Poor Gin, he is in for some hell. I take back what I said previously, he definitely contender of the year for worse treated slave, barring the shinigami who were probably used then either killed or tossed aside after a period of time of being used.
The sheer scope of Aizen's vision power is scary, and this story would have been faaaaaar shorter if he had the ability too listen in on people. The rebellion would have been snuffed out and heads would have rolled.

I hate Yammy.....with almost unparalleled fury I HATE him. And getting the little tidbits of the arrancars killing and/or raping the various Shinigami only adds to the rage. Like we see how much it kills Byakuya and the other surviving captains and LT's too be forced to watch and unable to intervene but imagine how those seated and unseated shinigami feel not knowing what is happening and not knowing about the claims on their leadership and seaing their leaders not doing anything.......your story hits me in all the soft places.
Jesus Christ poor Byakuya having too be seen like that by both servant and family, family which he will one day discover has abandoned him for their own safety and won't offer any comfort and for the next 15 or so years is going to be the toy of a monster like Yammy. Soi is a close second in the "horribly treated" category of slaves but at least Barragan's attention is more for males and it's split between 2 other individuals giving her some kind of breathing room, the few of the other Espada don't outright torture there slaves and Nnoitora is a horrible shitstain but he doesn't brutalize Rangiku to the point where she would be hospitalized. Can't say much for the non named numeros arrancars since beyond the initial invasion, rape and murder we only get a few tidbits of how they treat there slaves over the years.
So next chapter is the god powered sadist Aizen.

Found this new 1.5 version a couple days ago (you had the first five chapters posted) and was thrilled to have new material from the PoV universe to read! Loved the detailed extra-long first chapter the most, even after reading Grimmjow's chapter tonight.
After you post intro's for Szayel and Yummy, I can't wait to see where you go from there. It just occurred to me that maybe we'll see things that happened during the 5 year time skip early on in PoV? Ooooh the possibilities! Thank you for continuing to write for this story, and doing such a great job!

Uh, for the record....my review I just posted...autocorrect changed Yammy to Yummy without me noticing. I just want to clear up any misconceptions that I think Yammy is yummy. No. I do not. So gross. LOL

Unfortunately, this is only a short review because I can't seem to figure out how personal messages works on this site. I just found this collection of snippets and read the first chapter in its entirety, and I am thrilled you came back to this universe. Your beginning with Stark made me adore him even more. He offered Juushiro every option, even death to escape Aizen. That is saying something about his honor, and I love how even if he has been alone that the grief/love Nanao felt for Shunsui is palpable enough that he knows when to leave. You did an amazing job exploring all the details that came with Juushiro choosing to live. I love his line. "I don't need a day. I can't protect anyone dead." Such a noble creature, Juushiro!
I could only skim the other chapters tonight, but I loved the comparison between Rangiku and Neliel with Nnoitra and your explanation of Yumichika's adapting to his horrendous situation.

While I should have known what too expect given that it was about Nnoitora and his first claiming of Rangiku, the scenes of all the carnage going on with the other soon to be killed or enslaved shinigami and seeing her try so hard to fight and escape even in her condition and knowing she is going to fail killed me.

-Hah at the thought of Nnoitora actually thinking he could claim Kenpachi. Even if he somehow succeeded he would have had to grow eyes in the back of his head and been on guard 24/7. Claiming a powerful LT is one thing, but Kenpachi is on a whole other level.
-Well Tesra was certainly more brutal than I thought he would be. Gonna go out on a limb and assume that this is something Tatsuki never talks too him about as too not pop her little bubble.
So next up is Karin and Grimmjow. And given that Grimm has no taste for rape or pointless cruelty and we know that he didn't lay a hand on either of the girls and simply kept them as bait I'm gonna assume the angst will be a 'little' less in that one.
