Hollow Royale
"Head-Captain Yamamoto!" Lieutenant Nanao Ise cried, entering the extremely late emergency Captain's meeting room with Captain Shunsui Kyoraku on her back drenched in his own blood. Instantly Captain Retsu Unohana stood from her place, and rushed to Kyoraku's side, and placed her gentle hands on him, and began the healing process.
A man pushed open the doors to the room that had been sealed for over a thousand years. He walked over to the woman's body that laid on the table decorated in never fading flowers, and planted a kiss upon her cheek as he laid a banquet of roses on her chest before he walked out of the room.
"What has happen to Captain Kyoraku?" the old man asked almost to the point of yelling. The 8th Division Captain rarely got hurt, but he was bloodied up.
The man entered another room where three people stood, each dressed in their ranked clothing. A somewhat short girl with the kanji for Queen printed on the back of her short jacket. Beside her was a tall male with glasses, and on his right glove was the number 8. The third was a very tall dark-skinned male with the number 5 tattooed on his left forearm.
"We arrived at the target's house, and killed the old man. When we tried to eliminate the two little ones the Vizard attacked us, and stabbed the Captain!" Nanao explained in tears.
"Is everything ready?" the first male asked, grinning.
"And the Vizard?"
"Yes, your Highness. Everyone is waiting for you," the girl answered, giggling.
"Escaped with the two little ones. Before he did he told me to give you this Head-Captain." Nanao took a folded letter out of her kimono, and handed it to the old sage.
"Well then, let's not keep them waiting any longer."
Head-Captain Yamamoto looked at the letter carefully before opening it, and read it out loud.
The man took the kimono-like jacket from the second male, and slipped it on with ease. It was black with the Hollow symbol on the back.
"War or Treaty."
They exited the room, the doors closing behind them, and walked down the corridor towards the Throne Room.
The Captains began to talk amongst themselves about the message until the Head-Captain shouted for silence.
As the doors to the Throne Room flew open, the Arrancars, with the Espada in front, went silent before bowing as the man in front made his way to the throne where Sosuke Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, Kaname Tosen, and Shirosaki with a jester's hat jiggling by the bells on his head stood beside it.
"I feared this day would come since six years ago. I should've known that Aizen would've discovered the Hollow Royale, and who is next in line to the throne," the old man said. Only Lieutenant Chojiro Sasakibe could hear him. Captain Unohana continued to heal the wounded Captain; moving him was too dangerous. "That Vizard boy--"
"Ichigo Kurosaki," Sosuke Aizen announced in front of the throne he usually preoccupied. In his hands was the crown previously been worn by the Hollow Queen. "By Hollow Law you are hereby the Hollow King, but only if you accept the crown. Will you become the Hollow King?"
"Her power was immense when she ruled those with Hollow blood. Even the Quincys had a powerful bond with them."
"I accept the position of Hollow King," Ichigo said as Aizen laid the crown upon his cranium. It was made of Vasto Lord bone, and a simple band so it wouldn't interfere in battle. Ichigo then sat on his throne, a smile on his face.
"She destroyed her empire in hopes of a better world. What will her son do now I wonder."
"If Soul Society does not accept a peace treaty they will fight a losing war!" Ichigo proclaimed. The Arrancars stood up, and cheered. Ichigo laughed into the night that sounded twisted and cold.
In Soul Society, a cold chill spread from the laughter of the Hollow King.. He had chosen who to enter his Court.
Centuries ago, when the Gotei 13 was throbbing with power, a place called Las Noches was ruled by the Hollow Queen by the name of Masaki. Unlike what most would think, she was a kind Vizard who strived hard for peace between the races. Many had attempted to claim her throne - Vizards, Shinigami, and Hollows - and all failed at the mercy of her Bodyguards. At the time, she had their faces concealed so any family they had would remain safe.
When there wasn't peace, the Soul Society and the Queen's Court battled endlessly against one another with the aid of the Quincys. Queen Masaki knew peace would not come this way, and did the only thing she thought could bring peace: the destruction of her kingdom. With her disappearance along with the Bodyguards the battles no longer last. Head-Captain Yamamoto of the Gotei 13 took this to his advantage, and slaughtered the Quincys that had offered peace.
Years later, Masaki had settled down with a family, and given birth to a wonderful son, and twin girls. However, on an unfaithful night, Yamamoto found Masaki, and killed her, using at the time Captain Sosuke Aizen to create an illusion Hollow that had killed Ichigo's mother. Six years after that night Ichigo traveled into Soul Society in search for his friend Rukia. The old man knew who this boy was, and had hoped his Captains or Lieutenants would kill the child. When the child had failed to die after months in service the Head-Captain had no other choice, but to kill Ichigo Kurosaki and his family.
However, Aizen had known what the old man was planning, and wondered why he wanted the orange-haired child to die. After betraying Soul Society he had locked himself in Huedo Mundo's library where he had discovered the Hollow Royale bloodline. After some time of planning, and capturing Orihime Inoue, Aizen had Ichigo escorted to the palace where there was a locked room. Inside laid the body of Masaki, and everything Ichigo needed to know. He was torn between siding with Aizen, the man he was suppose to hate and kill, and his friends of Soul Society. Aizen had concluded that Ichigo could take as long as he liked to decide.
It was that same night that Old Man Yamamoto had assigned Captain Shunsui and Lieutenant Nanao Ise the task of killing the Kurosaki family before it was too late. Since the two didn't very well know Ichigo it was no problem. Almost. Shunsui had managed to kill Isshin Kurosaki as the widowed man protected Yuzu and Karin. This drove Ichigo over the edge as he stabbed the Captain, grabbed his little sisters, and managed to locate a patrolling Arrancar. That night Ichigo was crowned Hollow King, and wanted nothing more than to kill Head-Captain Yamamoto.
