A Chance Encounter

Shouldn't the disclaimer show up there in green? I myself thought it was pretty easy to see. However if it must be repeated a couple more times then I will repeat it.

Here is the first chapter... now as I said I will explain what I mean when I say slight hints of crossover. Some of my OC's (the main one for example) you will read for yourself has a cat form simular to Kirrara from Inuyasha and she is as I like to call her a "fanfic" baby between another of my OC's and George Weasly from Harry Potter. This main OC also happens to be a former student of Hogwarts sorry if I'm rambling here I'll be sure to have an explination in the story ya?

It was a day like any other in Karakura Town. Certainly not normal for such a place never is what any normal person would deem it but for the residence it was. Hitsugaya Toshiro, Captain of the 10th Shinigami squad of Soul Society; made his way through a throng of people on the street. He was in the realm of the living along with his vice Captain Matsumoto Rangiku, the vice Captain of the 6th division Abarai Renji and the 3rd and 4th seats of the 11th division Madarame Ikkaku and Ayasegawa Yumichika.
In the living realm to provide back up to the substitute Shinigami Kurosaki Ichigo. Toshiro was currently on his own as Matsumoto and the others were all off fooling around. He walked onward past all the people in the more crowded areas to the lesser crowded. The sun was beginning to dim as the afternoon was drawing to a close. Toshiro found himself walking through a park. A rather deserted and eerie park; something didn’t seem right here at all. Suddenly Toshiro heard the sounds of a struggle and also sounds of animal snarling. It sounded like a rather large cat fighting something bigger. Toshiro pulled out his Hollow detector and saw that there was indeed a blip and it looked like it was a rather big one too.
Wasting no time Toshiro jumped out of his gigai and rushed to see what was happening. He didn’t quite get why a Hollow would attack an animal; perhaps it was a soul trapped within it. He arrived at the scene and there was a cloud of dust; the sound of struggle and snarling was louder. Toshiro hesitated a moment; it could be quite dangerous to just jump into something like that. A large furry body came hurtling towards him and he dodged it just in time. Before it launched itself back into an attack Toshiro had a chance to catch a glimpse of the thing and what he saw shocked him. It was indeed a cat and a large one at that but one that he had never before laid eyes on. The dust cleared and Toshiro watched as the cat battled with the Hollow.
This cat was black as pitch and had two long almost fox like tails and white markings on those tails as well as around its feet and on its ears. The oddest of markings was the heart shaped marking on its right shoulder. Fire sprang from its heels and fury from its eyes; despite that and despite how brilliantly this creature was fighting the Hollow; Toshiro could also tell that there was something wrong and that perhaps this creature was either ill or injured or both even. Suddenly the Hollow lashed out at the cat; the creature failed to dodge and crashed to the earth once again. It tried to move as the Hollow came in for a second attack but it was just too exhausted to do much more than stand. The Hollow launched forward for the finishing blow.
There was a flash of white light and a burst of cold air and as the light cleared the cat was on its stomach in a crater and in front of it stood Toshiro holding the Hollow with his bare hand.
“It’s very unfortunate that you should happen to end up in my presence . . . I am not just a mere Shinigami if you haven’t noticed by now.” Toshiro said calmly; the Hollow only howled in response. Toshiro shoved it away and as it began to launch forward again Toshiro called on the power of Hyorinmaru to finish him in one blow. As it rained bits of ice Toshiro sheathed his sword and slowly turned around. The shock he had received when looking at the odd cat suddenly became even more shock that he couldn’t even keep his jaw from hitting the dirt from what he saw before him now.
Toshiro was no longer looking at a large and strange two tailed cat but a young woman who was now passed out at his feet. A young woman with long, reddish-brown hair, a slender frame and a heart shaped scar on her right shoulder.
“Who and what exactly is this person?” Toshiro asked himself as he gently picked her up. He knew it would be better to not get involved with her any further but she was injured and he could feel that she was burning up with a very high fever as well. ‘How on Earth did you manage to fight so long in your condition?’ he wondered as he carried her to Inoue’s apartment.

Toshiro came through the window; one was home which meant Inoue must have been at dinner with her friend Tatsuki and Matsumoto was most likely out shopping. Toshiro looked down at the girl in his arms. He could tell that her fever was beginning to worsen and her breathing was becoming more laboured; it was apparent that if he didn’t do something to cool her down it would be troublesome. Toshiro made for the bathroom and ran the bath cold; he lowered her into the water and it began to turn red. He had been right when he thought she might be injured. It was most likely that the injury was from the Hollow. The biggest concern, however was that the water just as it was, was doing little to help her cool down. Toshiro ran to the kitchen but found no ice in the ice box. It was looking bad; he ran back to the bathroom. She had sunk below the surface. Toshiro quickly pulled her up; if he couldn’t find ice then he would have to cool the water down himself.
Toshiro called forth the chill of Hyorinmaru’s power. His objective was to simply bring the temperature of the water down not to freeze it entirely. ‘Please let this work!’ He thought as he reached his arms into the water and wrapped them around the girl; then he slowly and gently allowed the cold slip through him and into the water. Toshiro felt her shift ever so slightly and he watched her face closely. It would be troublesome if she woke to find him like this and began to panic. Her eyes fluttered open for a brief moment and they were filled with confusion.
“A Shinigami?” Her voice was soft and breathy as she uttered these words; but suddenly fell unconsciousness again. Toshiro was a little surprised; not so much at the fact that she could see him; there were plenty in this town who could; it was more the fact that she seemed to know what he was. Sweat drops broke out on her skin as well as her which meant that her fever had broken and that it was ok to remove her from the water now. Toshiro pulled her out of the bath and wrapped a towel around her. He cringed to himself because he realized that he could not leave her in her now soaked clothing. Placing her gently on the floor he removed his captain’s robe; then after holding her up again he quickly shut his eyes and in two swift movements he had removed everything but her under garments and had her wrapped in his captain’s robe.
After that was finished Toshiro then searched her for the wound; it was on her left shoulder. Bite marks that were definitely left by the Hollow; Toshiro went to the medicine cabinet and pulled out the first aid kit. Calmly he began tending to her wound. After he was finished; he gently picked her up and carried her out to the couch and laid her down. It would be a little while yet before she woke up again.

I realize I said I would list the OC's but since her name hasn't been revealed yet I will refrain for now....

(If any of you had read my Naruto story "Two Pairs of Blue" I appologize for removing it but I am going to re-write and improve it)
