Chapter Fourteen

Warning: Yaoi(boy x boy), If you don’t like then don’t read.

AN: Thank you for the reviews. I hope everyone is enjoying this story. Yakumo I agree that whips aren’t my thing either but I think a whip is sexier than a paddle and I definitely didn’t want to involve cutting. satterb yea he prolly would be a dirty talker but for the life of me I can’t write dirty talk. It never comes out sounding right or sounds ridiculous. I did what I thought sounded the best in my mind. Had a little bit of writers block with the start of this chapter but I finally got over it. Enjoy this chapter.

Chapter Fourteen

Izuru grunted as something heavy landed on his chest. Cracking open an eye to see the ever cheerful Yachiru smiling down at him. Then, he recalled the previous night’s activities and blushed redder than an apple. His blush spread across his cheeks up over his ears and down his neck. Izuru couldn’t believe the previous night. It was almost like a dream or in truth one of his darkest fantasies. The previous night had been the most satisfying sexual experience of his life. Yachiru giggled, causing the color to darken even more.

“Ken-chan was so happy this morning. Did you have a sleep over and not invite me?” she asked with an adorable little pout. Izuru ignored the question and sat up in bed and searched the room for his clothes. Spotting them on a chair across the room, Izuru threw back the covers and walked over to them. Yachiru giggled again. Izuru glanced at her sitting on the bed with her tiny hands over her eyes, one hand lifting to peek at him. Izuru blushed again when he noticed that he was naked. Grabbing the clothes he pulled them on as quickly as humanly possible.

“Ken-chan had to go because there was a disturbance in one of the Rukon districts, but you can play with me.” chirped Yachiru. Izuru sighed at the happy look on the girl’s face. He felt a twinge in his heart. Yachiru though doted on by Kenpachi and humored by most of the Seireitei, was lonely. Kenpachi was busy with his duties and there were no children within the Seireitei. As a result, the young lieutenant latched on to anyone that showed her even the smallest amount of affection. It really was sad.

“I have to go to the office, Yachiru.” said Izuru. The girls face dropped and her eyes welled up with tears. The sight broke his heart. “How about you come with me, I’m sure Captain Ichimaru wont mind you coloring while we work. The girl perked up and cheered.

“Yay!” she yelled while jumping for joy. The happiness on her face was so radiant that Izuru almost had to look away. Such a small thing made the girl so happy.

“Go grab a bag of you drawing supplies and whatever you need while I finish dressing.” said Izuru and before he could finish the sentence, she was out of the room and heading for her own. Izuru laughed at the antics. She really did worm her way into the heart fast. He understood why Captain Kuchiki was so fond of her, though Izuru was sure he would be the first to deny it. For some reason, Byakuya Kuchiki had begun to carry a small bag of sweets on his person for the simple reason of giving it to Yachiru when she approached him.

“I’m ready, Pretty-chan.” chimed Yachiru as Izuru stepped from the room. The bag she was carrying looked bigger than she and once again Izuru was astonished at her physical strength. Her strength was many times that of which someone her size should have. He would have to ask Kenpachi one day about it. Izuru blushed again at the thought of the captain. Pushing him from his mind, Izuru escorted Yachiru down the hall towards the common room.

As they stepped into the common room, Yumichika and Ikkaku were lounging about. They both looked up as the pair walked in the room. Ikkaku snickered as they entered causing Izuru’s dispelled blush to come back in full force.

“Bye Feather-chan, bye Pachinko-head, I’m going with Pretty-chan.” chirped Yachiru to the two as if daring them to refuse her. Neither one was stupid enough to deny the girl what she wanted. They had learned the hard way what happens when Yachiru doesn’t get what she wants. This benefited them as well. With Izuru watching Yachiru, they could do whatever they pleased free of the small girl’s whims.

“Have fun.” smiled Yumi, already plotting in his mind how he would spend the next few hours. Ikkaku was already heading for the sake. Drinking was a fabulous way to spend the day. Yumi rolled his eyes at his friend and waved goodbye to the two lieutenants.

Upon arriving at Division Three, Izuru settled Yachiru at the small table in the corner of the room with her papers and drawing utensils. After making sure she had enough to occupy herself, he set about organizing the paperwork for himself and his captain. Thankfully, most of it was easily dealt with.

“Oh, what have we here? Another addition to my squad?” grinned Gin as he strolled into the office. He had just left his lover’s apartment and was in an especially good mood. Mixing business with pleasure was always a most delightful way to spend an evening.

“She’s just on loan for the day.” smiled Izuru as he handed his captain his daily allotment of paperwork. Yachiru giggled and continued her drawing, humming a sweet sounding tune.

“Word came back to me that you and Captain Zaraki had a little sparring session yesterday.” said Gin, his eyes barely cracked as he cut a glance over at Izuru. Izuru knew he was blushing brightly. It was obvious that the captain knew full well that Izuru had done more than spar. He was just thankful that Gin wasn’t the type to gossip even though he was good friends with one of the biggest gossips in Soul Society, Rangiku Matsumoto.

“Yes, sir. He didn’t think I would be much of a challenge for him.” supplied Izuru. He knew he had surprised the captain with abilities. Few people realized the strength that Wabisuke contained.

‘And a good thing too, I know you do not relish the thought of battle. It goes against your nature.’ said Wabisuke to his master.

‘Yes, but I do not mind fighting for those that I care about.’ Izuru told his zanpakuto.

‘I am glad you called me. It has been a while since you allowed me to aid you in battle, even if it was only a spar.’

Izuru smiled at the warmth Wabisuke sent through his body. The zanpakuto had always been a source of strength for Izuru, even when he did not even realize it.

Signing the last of the paperwork, Izuru stood and looked towards his captain.

“Its time for put the squad through the battle motions. Are you going to join us or shall I go ahead and start? The new members fresh from the academy arrived yesterday afternoon and will need to be drilled.” asked Izuru as he filed the last of his duplicate copies and placed the others in the out box to be taken to Division One by one of the lower ranking officers.

“I am in the mood for a little fun. New members are always worth it.” grinned Gin. He did so love terrorizing the new division members. Once the new rookies learned about him and his laid back stance on many things they wouldn’t be so afraid of him. Until that time, he would enjoy the hell out of scaring the rookies half to death. It was one of his few joys. Chuckling to himself, Gin stood, dumped his paperwork in the out box and strode out the door towards the training grounds.

Yachiru watched as the grinning captain left the office. She tilted her head to the side. Captain Ichimaru had left the office with an aura that reminded her of Ken-chan when he was in a good mood. She wondered what was so interesting to the captain.

“New recruits to torture.” said Izuru as if reading her thoughts. Yachiru giggled, yep just like Ken-chan.

“I need to go help, do you want to come with me or keep coloring for a little while longer?” asked Izuru. Yachiru sat still for a moment and considered her options. Though she enjoyed coloring a lot and she was getting better with her drawing, thanks to Pretty-chan, she really wanted to go with him. Drawing could wait.

“I’ll go with Pretty-chan.” exclaimed Yachiru as she stood and grabbed the string that was tied to the hilt of her zanpakuto. Pulling the zanpakuto behind her like a toy, Yachiru followed close behind Izuru as he lead her to the training grounds where the third seat of the division was organizing all of the new recruits into position. Ichimaru was grinning like a mad man and Izuru had to fight not to laugh at the terror that radiated off of the rookies. He was glad he had only received a milder version of the Gin Ichimaru torture, when he had joined Aizen’s division.

After standing back and watching Captain Ichimaru and the soon afterwards Yachiru, torture the rookies, Izuru was laughing hard at the antics. Yachiru had joined right in with the captain. The two had schemed together ideas that would be sure to cause nightmares for weeks among the newest members of Division Three. The two were obviously cut from the same cloth, which was a scary thought in itself.

As lunch time rolled around, Izuru took Yachiru to a dango shop and treated her to lunch. The girl had every female in the shop oooing and ahing over her. Yachiru ended up with a free lunch and Izuru still didn’t know how she managed it. At least now he knew why Kenpachi had taken her with him when he had found her amidst the carnage of the slaughter of her family. The girl was a natural con-artist. There was no telling how many free meals the girl had gotten him during their time roaming the Rukon.

“Time to go home, Yachiru.” said Izuru as he watched the girl’s head droop on her shoulders. Picking her up, Izuru carried her towards Division Eleven. Now would be a good time to sort through another couple of boxes while the girl had her nap.

Once Yachiru was settled in her bed, Izuru set to work. The room was becoming much more organized but Izuru knew good and well that it wouldn’t stay that way once he left. This division was not known for its record keeping skills as was obvious by the shape that the room was in when he had arrived. Grabbing the nearest box, Izuru glanced through the records, pausing as his mind drifted back to the previous night. He wanted to slap himself. He had gone most of the day without thinking about the things he had allowed Kenpachi to do to him, but once he settled down the memories swamped him again.

Dropping his head to the box, Izuru groaned as his cock started to swell with the memory. His mind might be embarrassed at his lack of control, but his body had no such qualms. It was ready for more of the wonderful feelings that it experienced the night before. With his face pressed up against a dusty box, Izuru started sneezing almost uncontrollably. When he had finished, his eyes landed on the file in his hand. Eyes wide, Izuru scanned the date and summary on the file. The date matched as did the description. Ripping open the file, Izuru began to read the entries made by the lead investigator.

May, 12

Upon routine patrol of District Four of Rukon, my patrol came upon the massacre of a family of minor nobles. Two adult men, an adult female, and a young boy. All appeared deceased but upon closer inspection it was determined that the boy was still alive. He was immediately rushed to Division Four as per protocol. It is my belief that while it appeared to be nothing more than a robbery, the degree to which the adults were murdered gives me suspicion that there was more going on than was evident. No evidence was found at the scene to give any clues as to the criminals.

From the tracks we found, it appeared that the perpetrators split up after setting the carriage aflame. They took off in four different directions, whether they will meet up later or not is anyone’s guess. I sent several of my subordinates to follow the trails but they went cold after several miles. It was as if the perpetrators vanished. This makes me suspicious. Only highly trained assassins can disappear and leave no trail.

It was determined from the crest on the carriage that the victims were from the Kira family, a minor noble family. It is my understanding that the boy’s uncle will be taking charge of his care from now on. I plan on speaking with the boy once he is well enough to tell me what happened.

Several witnesses in the market testify that Kira-sama engaged in a verbal altercation with a stranger dressed in torn and dirty clothing. Descriptions were taken and we will be looking into the matter. However, if they are trained assassins, I doubt the descriptions will help.

May15,

I received orders from higher officials to suspend all investigation into this matter per request from the boy’s uncle. I was forbidden from speaking with the boy concerning the attack. I asked Captain Unohara to speak to him if she would. Normally this would cause suspicions, however, it is my duty to follow the orders given by my superiors. I believe that the uncle bought the silence of the officials which leads me to believe he was involved. No proof can be found to support this allegation. I will continue to investigate the issue. The boy needs justice.

Oct 24,

I continued to look into the issue of this matter quietly. I was reported to my superiors and the matter was turned over to Central 46. There is nothing more I can do. I know that this is not my battle but I saw the look of despair in the boy’s eyes as he lay bleeding next to his father. I have decided that I no longer wish to serve a society that allows the guilty to buy their freedom while the victims are made to suffer. This will be my last entry in this matter. I have turned in my letter of resignation to my captain.

I hope that someone else decides to pick up this matter.

Jun Ebara, 6th seat, Division Eleven.

Izuru sat in shock. He felt his blood running cold. His heart was pounding in his ears. His mind screamed as he read the words of the former 6th seat of Division Eleven. Could his uncle truly have hired men to kill his sweet mother and kind father. Was he really that desperate for money that he could stoop to such an action. Izuru stood, his eyes not seeing. His mind still whirling around the words of Ebara. This case had disturbed Ebara in such a way that he had resigned his post in the 13 squads. Izuru started to shake as the memories poured back into the forefront of his mind. The smell of smoke and blood mixing together in the air.

Izuru began to gasp for breath. His legs were no longer able to hold him aloft. Crumpling to the ground, as his vision darkened. The papers in the report scattered on the floor of the room, unnoticed. The last thing Izuru saw before his mind completely went dark was the image drawn on a paper of the man that would forever haunt Izuru’s nightmares. The killer of his father. The man, he himself had scarred. The man that he wouldn’t rest until he found him. No longer able to fight any longer, Izuru sank into the welcoming darkness. He felt Wabisuke’s strong arms cradle him as darkness claimed his mind.
