Hide and Seek

The train ride was an hour long and she set her head up against the window.It was cold still from winter, but she hardly minded it. In fact she welcomed it.She thought of first place to go and that was the bar. She wanted to just wash away her guilt and memories with the liquids. Her mind drifted to the night the two escaped from Soul Society and he rested his head on her lap. He remembered how his mind was so restless, how angry he was at being there. But most off all she remembered everything about how he felt near her.



The train stopped and she walked to the nearest bar and ordered a drink, then another and another. Soon enough many guys were around her trying there luck with her. It wasn\'t until she had about 7 drinks that she got up and began to leave. She left a very heavy tip on the counter and the bartender thanked her. Rangiku headed off to a hotel she spotted on the way to the bar. She walked as best as she could and finally heard the dull footsteps approach her.



"Hey sexy? Come back and play." one shouted.



"Come here pretty girl." another laughed.



She rolled her eyes open trying to see better. She hurried to what she thought was almost there when one of the guys hooked arms with her.



"Come on babe lets go down here?" He dragged her to the alley next to the hotel.



"Nurr gettur hand offa me."She slurred.



"Aw come on I will show you a good time though?"



"Fuck off." She shouted.



"Bitch!"

Gin watched the monitor as the group of guys approached her. He lost it, he lost it completley. She was his and only his. He rose to his feet and opened his eyes and looked to the object to open the gates. He walked towards it and Aizen\'s voice boomed from the corner " And what are you doing Gin?"



"Bringing my pet back here." He growled and began to walk towards the object that was so close it burned in Gin\'s reach.



"If you do that. You will put everything we have for us at waste." He warned.



"Why dontcha tell me then? What is that?"



"Toshiro will lead us into soul society and we will be able to take them apart one by one. But if we bring her here...then that will put our plans-



"Captain may I?" he requested " Would you let your pet be touched like that?" He smiled devilishly.



Aizen seethed at what he was getting at and finally spoke " No." He paused "one night, Gin. That is all we can afford."



Gin smiled and touched the object. The gate opened in front of him and he was gone.

"Bitch!"



"My my, you just love getting yourself in these situations dontcha my little flower?" He smiled behind the men raising there fist at the drunken mess.



Her eyes focused and she looked up to see in a ghostly fashion, Gin. Her breath hitched and for what ever reason, her heart stopped. The men turned around and was about to speak.



"Shinsou."



They flew behind her one at a time with a loud flop. He approached the mess that was now on the ground and offered a hand to her. Her vision was blurred and she could barely see him. \'Is this a dream?\' she wondered. Her eyes fell shut and she passed out. Her body fell forward and he kneeled down and caught her in his arms. "Why are you so beautiful?" He asked her low.

She woke up in a bed, she felt tired and awful. It worsened when she saw him...Gin Ichimaru.



"W-what....WHY?!" She yelled trying to scramble to her feet.



"Sit down."



She for what ever reason listened and sat down promptly. She breathed in and finally spoke " Why...must you-



"I am here to tell you something."



"What?"



"Toshiro.You want to know of him right?"



"Why would I care."



"He is going to become a hollow."



She felt all the drinks she had earlier start to churn in her stomach. She looked up at him " Why..."



"For you."



"ME?! Why would you do th-



"Listen. I only had one night with you. I have ta leave my little flower."



"Did you touch me."



"No." He opened his eyes and looked at her. This look pinged something in her that made her blood move like sludge. She didn\'t know what his expression was but it was something she hadn\'t seen before.



"..."



He rose to his feet and leaned forward and kissed her lips firmly. She gasped and felt him push her down on the bed. She felt like her body was sinking again. Why was her body not stopping him. Why was it...taking it. He closed his eyes once more and pulled away.His hand moved to under her shirt and her eyes shot open but he just looked into the icy eyes with firmness. She then felt something left in her shirt. He whispered "Leave it there until I leave." He spoke low and got up.



She watched as he went to the door and stopped before it and spoke in a chilling tone "You are my pet. Not anyone else." He spoke walking out the door and leaving.



His words made her shutter and she finally lifted the paper from her shirt and began to read it.



Aizen has Toshiro. I am sure you are aware. Do not go back to Karakura town ever again, make a new life here. Forget everything, don\'t look back and you will be able to survive longer then the others. Remember this, no matter what happens.

She looked at it puzzled and bit her lower lip. Something was going to happen, but she didn\'t know what. Should she actually listen to him? Was this some schemed up plan that meant something else?

Toshiro was awoken late in the night by Aizen " Tomorrow you are ready Toshiro. We will go to the human world and get to soul society through Kisuke, you will be the center of this plan Toshiro. You have his trust and he will open it eagerly for you to go back if only you to ask. When you do get through you will plant this in the portal to soul society and that will make it easy to get through."



"I understand." Toshiro nodded.



"any questions?"



"Rangiku. Can I bring her back here?"



"no."



"Once I am done I am staying behind in the human world."



"and so you are." He smiled and turned leaving the teen to himself.



"Tomorrow...it happens."Toshiro closed his eyes. "Hyourinmaru...where are you."

The next day came, the day was bright and the new. Kisuke and Yoruichi lay next to each other in a comfortable embrace. She nuzzled into his chin and spoke " I have a feeling this isn\'t ever going to end."



"Me too." He spoke brushing her hair with his fingers.



It was at this moment the two felt a breeze go through them that made them open there eyes and look the direction towards the door.Kisuke rose to his feet and called out "Hello~" He sung.



Yoruichi scoffed and opened the door to see someone she never expected to see again.

"You remember the plan?"



"Of course."He assured.



"Go then." Aizen nodded.



Toshiro took a step " Are you sure I am strong enough."



"You will be an espada soon enough." He assured.



Without any more pauses Toshiro leapt through the portal. For the first time he had doubt, he stepped through feeling his sword close to his hip.Toshiro landed on the ground and looked up.He rose to his feet and settled into his stance looking around. He sensed everyone he expected except one...Rangiku. Rangiku wasn\'t around.



"Maybe they covered her reitsu to protect her." He came to the conclusion.He began to walk towards the small shop, known only to some as link to Soul Society. He stopped in front of the door and heard Kisuke.

"Toshiro?You came back?"



"So surprised?"



"Very much so actually."Kisuke added sitting up and eying the teen.



Toshiro glared daggers and finally spoke " I need to get to Soul Society."



"Oh? Not worried about Rangiku?"



"..."



"Your not." Kisuke concluded.



Yoruichi watched Toshiro\'s movements carefully. Kisuke leaned into her ear. " Go to Rukia." He whispered.



Toshiro watched as the two moved in unison. The darker toned girl used shunpo to get past Toshiro in a flash of light. Toshiro turned to the door and looked back at Kisuke. He unsheathed his sword. " Let me through. Now!"



"I am afraid I cannot do that."



"Then you will die here!" Toshiro charged the blonde.



"Revenge sure has got a hold of you."



"Shut up!"Toshiro swung his sword.



"You are angry, I understand."



"You don\'t understand anything!" He growled swinging his sword again.



"Aizen is using you! Don\'t you get it?"



"Maybe its mutual!" He spat once again.



"Toshiro think for a minute." Kisuke blocked his attack with Benihime. " He raped Rangiku and had pleasure in doing it. Gin kidnapped her as well. They all hurt her and you went and brought her back."



"SO I COULD RETURN TO BE CALLED A TRAITOR!" He roared. " Daiguren Hyourinmaru!"nothing happen.



Kisuke straightened looking down at his sword and then backed up. "You have lost your bankai."



"No! I haven\'t!" Toshiro seethed. " He just isn\'t listening!" He glared down at the sword.



Kisuke sheathed his sword again and began to laugh. " Aizen wants you killed."



"What?"



"He wants to use you to get to soul society and take over. He sent you here alone to get there and die. That makes it easier for him to rid you." Kisuke spoke darkly.



Kisuke looked up at Toshiro to see the wheels turning in his brain. Kisuke paused "Toshiro Hitsuguya, I can not let you pass willingly. If your Bankai worked-



"I will become a hollow and it will return."



"No it will not." He spoke confidently. Kisuke didn\'t know this for sure but knew the kid was not stable and would probably listen to him. Toshiro watched in confusion " Your sword will not come back if you become a hollow, you will be a changed person."



"Then why did Ichigo\'s? Or all the vizards?"



"Because of me."



Toshiro\'s eyes widened,he felt his decision falter.. He was about to speak when the gates behind Kisuke started to open. Kisuke looked back shocked. He jumped up and shouted "Shut the portal now!"



Toshiro was about to jump forward when he felt a pulse from the sword he had in hand. It was after he doubted his plans. He then began to think quickly \'Maybe Kisuke was right. Maybe I will be killed because this is what Aizen had planned to begin with. It was weird how I forgot all the things that happen to her.Why did I...Aizen.\'



"Shinsou." The sword stretched and pierced through Toshiro throwing the tiny box out of his shirt.Toshiro yelped in pain and felt it retract from his body.



Toshiro\'s emerald eyes turned back slowly to see Gin,Aizen and Tousen walking towards him. Kisuke rose to his feet swiftly and four entered from Soul Society. Grimmjow,Ulquiorra,Byakuya and Renji. Kisuke looked at the cube that was just in the doorway of the portal and knew what it was. It was a device he made a long while back to hold the portal open for only one persons command...and at that time it would have been Aizens.



Kisuke spoke " This must be a happy reunion."



"Suit yourself.I kind of think of that group as-



"Oh welcome everyone. Now I have an audience of what my power can achieve." Aizen spoke. He nodded towards the entrance to Soul Society. Tousen lunged for it and was blocked by Kisuke.



"I am afraid I can\'t you let any of you enter." He spoke low.



"Toshiro. If only you would have listened to my orders. Then this wouldn\'t have to come to you so soon." He leaned over to Toshiro and brought up his glowing hand.



"Haineko!" A yell came from behind the trio.

Author note: Sorry about the pause. This story is only having 25 chapters. So its close to being over! Woo hoo! Its a good ending I have in my head. You guys won\'t be disappointed.
