CHAPTER 2
“Emmm…Excuse me, Kuchiki Taicho…”
Byakuya Kuchiki looks up from his paper.
“What is it, Inoue-san?”
My eyes looked deeply into his.
Byakuya Kuchiki, one of the four great noble families in Soul Society. As the head of one of the great noble families and as a captain in the Gotei 13, he always works hard for a peaceful society. He also popular among the female shinigami of Soul Society, and was voted number one in the ‘captain we desire to release a photo book for’ poll taken by the Shinigami Women's Association…
But… Sometime, I’ve always been thinking… Does he always need to wears those white headpiece in his hair (well…I’ve heard it’s called a kenseikan) and his white scarf?
“Well? Are you going to stand there and look at me for the whole day?” he snaped
Akwardly bowed to him “I..I’m sorry, Kuchiki Taicho. I… I’m here…uhh..ohh..i’m delivering some reports and letters for you?”
I can’t stand to look at him any longer and place my sight on his table which is full of papers.
“Can you help me out, Inoue-san? As you could see… my table was full and I don’t think there’s any space for those pile of paper of yours…”
“What should I do sir?” I asked
“Help me separate those documents and the important letters… AND… I don’t want to see any personnel’s or love letter attach amongst it…”
“Yes, sir…” I looked around so I could put the pile of documents down.
“You could use Renji’s table…” He says as he continues with his works.
I walk over to Renji’s place but accidentally I bump my knee and land my self on the couch.
“Better look on your way …” Even he not looking at me, but I could see his lips curve.
Ohh, I wish I wouldn’t embarrass myself in front of him with my awkwardness
“I…I’m sorry sir…” Shyly, I apologized.
Since i’ve arrive here in Soul Society, it was my first time I stayed alone with a man aside Renji. Well… I don’t thing it would be wrong, besides… I’m helping out with some works.
“Thank you Inoue-san, for putting your self in such of trouble…”
“Ohhh…it’s fine, Kuchiki Taicho… I’ve heard Renji was busy having some training for the upcoming war… So I’m gladly helped you…ehh… I mean help his… ehh… ohh..i mean…” I don’t know how to end my words…
“So… I’ve heard you two are planning for getting married…” He asked, but still looked down on his paperwork.
I nod my head “Yes sir. Probably after his mission…” I continued listing out the papers but I could hear his mumble “That’s good…”
I looked on him. He stops writing as he could sense I was staring at him.
He looked away and continues “I wish for your happiness…”
I heard him. But he’s sound like…what? I couldn’t figure it out.
Suddenly my thought went out as Kuchiki Taicho has fallen for me and up sad because I’m getting married with other guy… Well, I’ve seen it happened in some movies…
‘Oh no… It couldn’t be happening… I not in a movie now, silly…’ I giggle my self.
“Is there’s anything, Inoue-san?”
I heard his voice, so closed. I looked up. He was standing beside me. “Uhh… sorry Kuchiki Taicho?”
“I’ve saw you are smiling and giggling by your self, so I wanted to know if there’s anything that you could share with me…” he say in his soft voice, almost makes me drift…
“Umm… It’s nothing Kuchiki Taicho…” I shyly added and tap my finger on my cheek, “Well… except I’ve been thinking… why you’re not getting married again? And… what kinds of women you’re interested? And….”
“You amused me, Inoue-san…”
“???”
“Tell me, is it how naturally you are? I…” He stops and turns his gaze to the opening door.
Renji? Ohh… I hope he’s not angry. I know that he hate seeing me talking with some of other guy…
“Good, you are here, Renji…” Kuchiki Taicho looked down to me “… as for you Inoue-san, you could go back to your squad now and thank you for your helping…”

Renji walked me back to my squad but he keeps him self quite.
“Renji-sama, are you okey? Why you are so quite?” I asked, but he keeps on walking and looked down as he was thinking of something “Ohh…come on… you could tell me what’s ever in your mind…”
“Orihime…” he started “Do you think…” he pause… “I’ve been thinking… if we’re not getting married or something had happened on me… Do you think that…” We stopped walking and I turn facing to him. “Do you think that you could live on and…”
“Renji-sama…” I cut his words and kissed him. I don’t want him to continue and I don’t want to hear it.
After a few minute, we broke away. I look around and saw some low rank Shinigami as they enjoy watching us. I flushed and Renji relies.
“Well… Aren’t you people have anything else to do?” Renji scolds.
“S…Sorry sir… Ma`am” They ran off like a bunch of mice ran after they’d saw a cat.
“Well… I think I’ll should buying some ‘taiyaki’ for my beloved red hair kitty here…” jokingly, I patting his head
He pouts.
I giggled and continued our way.
