Toushirou sat up slowly and looked around the room. He moved his feet to rest on the floor and shook his head. "That was one hell of a dream last night.", he whispered. "Must have been the sake."


The young man padded into the kitchen to get breakfast that Matsumoto had already cooked. The woman smiled. "Morning Toushirou."


"Morning Rangiku." He looked around. "Where's Karin?"


"Oh. I walked her home last night. After you went to bed, everyone else left and I offered to walk her home. She agreed and I got her there safe and sound."


He nodded. "Where you off to this morning?"


"Oh, just going to see Rukia. Then some shopping for the house."
