'D'-Day...

Ichigo sighed as he looked at Kurama and Yuusuke not sure how else to go about doing this as they walked trying to find any source of disturbance since as Yuusuke put it, Koenma was useless and pretty much was. They had no leads what so ever, no idea where they were or where they going to attack so here he was walking down the block cutting school again to be in another town all together and hunting down demons and hollows and the worst part was, he was in his human form and had to carry Kon around in his pocket because here and now leaving his body behind in a street might very well mean some perimedic came along found it and put him in a mourge which would not be good. Unexplained causes of death meant an autopsy and an autopsy meant his body was useless. Ergo Ichigo Kurosaki had to deal with Kon being in his body more then he would like. And all because Koenma had no idea whatsoever of where or what the enemies true goals were.



"So there is no way of knowing if this is legit?" Ichigo grumbled and Kurama chuckled.



"Oh it is legit." Kurama looked over at him. "But Spirit world\'s information doesn\'t have everything yet and Koenma will give up no information until he is certain."



"Great." Ichigo grumbled then heard the tell tale rattle of his badge going off and pulled it out. Getting them all to look at him. "Hollow." He said as if that explained everything yanked the small sphere out and shoved it in his mouth swallowing as Kon fell backwards and he went shooting forwards.



Kon scrambled out of the way while Ichigo bolted running with others following him. Kuwabara shook his head as he ran.



"How does he run with that large sword?" He grumbled and everyone ignored him.



Ichigo stopped and looked at the beast of a hollow and beast it was. For the hollow had four gaint paws a large mouth which was open and showing a double set of teeth, weird spiked horns and roaring to the sky. Yeah a hollow alright and an ugly one at that.



"Rei gun" Yuusuke shouted from near him as a bolt of spirit energy shot off and slammed into the thing which....did little to know good.



Ichigo tsked and darted forwards grabbing Zangetsu\'s hilt and racing forward, jumping up and bringing the massive blade down as the hollow moved and grabbed his sword\'s blade between it\'s teeth. Kuwabara shouted something but Ichigo was ignoring him he had a hollow to take care of and the sunnva bitch was trying to bit Zangetsu in half.



"Getsuga Tensho." Ichigo said as he brought his hand up onto the blade not swinging didn\'t have to as the black and red energy ripped from the blade and down the hollows throat. Ichigo landed on his feet and looked at Zangetsu thankfully there were no fang marks in the blade and turned to walk away.



But it was not so easy it never was, the hollow reformed behind him and as fast as Ichigo was it was fast the tendril it had shout out flying towards him froze though in ice and the air around him became soo much colder.



"Souten ne zase..." A voice he was certainly not expecting to hear....spoke calmly cooly. "Hyourinmaru."



Ichigo turned slowly as the ice dragon tore into the hollow freezing it and tearing it apart shattering it nothing and standing there in full shinigami attire complete with the Captains Haori was none other then Toshiro Hitsugaya. Ichigo felt an easy smile grace his features as he looked at the small icy captain bringing Zangetsu around to his shoulder as the man flickered down to him.



"Yo Toshiro." He said in greeting and watched that silvery white eyebrow twitch.

"Kurosaki, that is Captain Hitsugaya to you." He said irritated with him over it.



Ichigo smiled. "Yeah yeah," he said shaking his head and looking at him. "What brings you here?"



"Your dissapperance from Karakura town, and there corrisponding arrival." Toshiro pointed. "Sotaicho wanted to know why our Shinigami Daikon left without notifying Soul Society of a problem."



"I was under the impression you knew." Ichigo said looking at him and then over at Yuusuke who blinked and then closed his eyes a vien throbbing in his temple.



"Suck face did it again." Yuusuke said annoyed. "When\'s he gonna stop doing things half-assed? Come on we better go find out why he didn\'t notify your boss\'s that you were coming here." Yuusuke said shaking his head and sighing as he turned to go and drag them along with him. Only to hear Ice shattering and the roar of a hollow. "Yo I thought you guys could take that thing out."



Ichigo and Toshiro turned and narrowed there eyes. "Yo Toshiro that thing shouldn\'t need that much power to kill right?"

"No." Toshiro said and they looked at each other. Ichigo brought his sword arm up bringing his other hand around making Yuusuke think of his stance for the spirt gun although he held his wrist and Ichigo\'s hand was higher up.



But they spoke in unision. One word and Yuusuke had to admit he nearly shit himself when he felt it spike, there spirit energy, or as Ichigo called it there Reiatsu....one word and it meant the world of difference and Koenma\'s words don\'t underestamate him echoed in his ears....for good reason and that one word was....



"Ban-kai." Toshiro and Ichigo said at that same moment as power surged around them.......
