Nana Death: True Shinigami

“Same here…so let’s show off a little.”

Nana launched herself towards Shin as he blocked her attack with his blade. Just then Shin vanished appearing behind Nana. However Nana had seen this move before with the hollow she fought and he an idea of how to do it herself. With a flash she was above a shocked Shin swinging for his shoulder. Shin sidestepped the attack before kicking at Nana only to have her flash out the way again.

“It seems your plan is working,” said Shi in thought to Shin. “However I don’t like you toying with my little girl like this.”

“But she’s already showing rapid progress,” said Shin, “All I need to do is push her a little more and I’m sure it’ll happen.”

The rest of Spartoi had moved out of range of the battle but stayed close enough to watch. Nana was somehow putting up a fight against Shin. The madness resonance power was something truly amazing and it felt like Nana was only getting stronger as she fought. Kid watched the battle with uneasiness in his chest. He felt that his father was still hiding some things from them and that there was another point to this battle.

Nana slashed wildly with Shin blocking all of her attacks. Kid had noticed that Inazuma’s weapon form began to glow brighter. Something was happening, and Kid was sure whatever it was his father was behind it for sure. Shin watched Nana fight and it seemed he was pleased but he needed something that would push Nana over the edge. Then it hit him, flashing away from Nana a bright gold ball of energy glowed in Shin’s palm.

“It’s time for her to awaken,” thought Shin.

“Please re-think this,” pleaded Shi.

“Don’t worry Shi…I know she can stop this,” said Shin.

Shin fired a powerful beam of gold energy but it wasn’t headed for Nana. The beam soared right past her aimed at Crona. Nana’s pupils vanished as Inazuma transformed into a large normal katana. Flashing in front of Crona Nana swatted away Shin’s attack as all three lines of Sanzu completed in her hair.

“@#@$#$%$&$^&%()&%(....@#%@!” said Nana but no one understood what she said.

Kid jumped as at that exact moment all three lines of Sanzu connected in his hair. Shin sighed as Shi turned into his human form. Nana rushed Shin aiming a punch for his head when Shin caught her fist and landed his knee in her chest knocking her out. Inazuma turned into his human form catching her body.

“All this time…you weren’t even serious!” yelled Inazuma in a frustrated tone.

“Now that you kids have awaken it’s time to finish my explanation,” said Shin as a pair of sliding door appeared behind him. “Come on everyone were going on a little field trip.”

{Hours Later}

Nana woke up to an unfamiliar bed and to see Kid asleep in what appeared to be a hospital room…correction her hospital room. She felt her body but there were no wounds of any nature on her. She then notice that next to her was a sleeping Crona who was also uninjured which was a huge relief for her. As she got out of the bed and quietly got dressed a woman entered her room.
The woman had a young looking face but Nana could tell she was an adult. She also had long black hair braided in one large braid around the front. She wore a black Shihakusho and a white haori. She smiled which made Nana blush, her smile was so intoxicating it made her nervous.

“I see you are awake,” said the woman. “My name is Retsu Unohana captain of squad 4.”

“Hi I’m Nana Death,” said Nana, “This might be a weird question but have you seen my dad?”

“Captain Death is waiting for you along with the others at the Academy,” said Unohana.

“I’m not at the school?” questioned Nana.

“A lot has happened while you were knocked out,” said Inazuma in his new blade form from across the room.

“Care to fill me in?” said Nana as she wore Inazuma across her back.

“Like always,” laughed Inazuma.

Nana looked back at everyone else, “Don’t worry when they awake I’ll tell them your fine,” assured Unohana.

“Thanks Ms. Unohana,” said Nana before leaving.

Inazuma told Nana about how Shin had planned the entire fight between in order to have her awaken as a Shinigami. He also told her about how they were now in a place called the Seireitei and were Shinigami and nobility lived. He also explained that the reason only one full-fledged Shinigami could exist in the world Shin created was because of the laws of that universe.

Inazuma also explained how the rules of Shin’s universe greatly differed from the rules here. Next he told her that Kid had also awoken as a Shinigami the same time she did. Lastly he told her that everyone from Spartoi was waiting for them at the Academy. Nana had stop for a moment and take in everything she was just told. Another question that plagued her mind was why was Inazuma still in his weapon form?

“Oh? Well because I’m not a Weapon anymore I’m a Zanpoktou…your Zanpoktou,” said Inazuma.

“Wow you mean like Dad and Mom?” asked Nana.

“I thought we were just friends,” laughed Inazuma.

“You know what I meant jerk!” scolded Nana.

“Relax I’m kidding,” said Inazuma, “Yeah like them and Nana don’t call me Inazuma anymore that’s not my name.”

“What do you mean?” asked Nana.

“My name is ******,” said ******, “But I don’t think you can hear my true name at your level now.”

“Well until I can I’ll call you Inazuma fair?” said Nana.

“Fair,” said ******.

When Nana finally made it to the Academy she quickly hurried inside to look for her father. When she found Shin he was stalking to Yamamoto as the other members of looked at her. Shin wore a black Shihakusho and a white haori with the symbol of 0 on the back. The Spartoi members wore a modified version of the Shihakusho with a red hakama and a white top. Shin noticed Nana and dismissed Yamamoto.

“I bet you’re angry at dead old dad,” said Shin in his cartoony voice.

“Damn right I am!” yelled Nana, “but I was told everything on the way so what’s with the new uniforms.”

“Academy uniform,” said Maka.

“This uniforms suck,” said Blackstar, “but I make everything look good.”

“Wait a minute…” said Nana as she noticed only the meisters were present. “Where is everyone else?”

“Over here,” said Lightning from her katana form on Kirikou’s sides.

“We’re Zanpoktou now,” said Soul from his katana from on Maka’s waist..

“Oh, you guys to huh?” said Nana.

“Nana you are also enrolled in the Academy now,” said Shin tossing her a uniform. “Study hard and I’ll check up on you later.”

“Wait but I still have questions!” said Nana.

However it was too late as Shin vanished from sight. Nana sighed deeply as Kid and Crona came into the room wearing the Academy uniforms. Kid wore Liz and Patti’s katana form on his lower back in an ‘x’ pattern. Crona walked up and examined Nana to make sure she was okay then smiled. Ragnarok had made his appearance to checking Nana before talking.

“You had some balls to call out you old man,” said Ragnarok. “Next time don’t get us involved though.”

“She didn’t try to get us involved,” said Crona quietly.

“Screw that we almost died!” said Ragnarok.

“But-“

“It’s okay Crona,” said Nana, “Sorry about that Ragnarok.”

“Yeah whatever,” said Ragnarok as he went back into Crona’s body.

“So according to dad Maka, Kim, and Crona you guys are living with Nana. Kirikou, Ox, and Blackstar you guys are with me.”

With that everyone went to their assigned rooms to settle in. Crona and Nana shared a bed while Maka and Kim got their own beds. The rooms were separated but all conjoined like a large dorm room. ****** had told Nana that she had classes early next mourning so she should get some sleep. Just as Nana was about to go to sleep Maka asked to speak with her. The two girls went out on to the roof so they could talk in private.

“What’s up Maka?” asked Nana.

“Did my mom talk about me when you saw her?” asked Nana.

“Are you kidding? That’s all she talked about,” said Nana.

“Really…that makes me happy,” said Maka. “I wonder what she would think of this place…”

“Everything has happened so fast…” said Nana.

“Yeah no kidding and we have no idea what’s next,” said Maka.

“Oh well no use crying about it right?” said Nana.

“Right,” smiled Maka. “So are you and Crona…together.”

“Nana blushed and rubbed her head, “Yeah we are.”

“You better treat her good you got me?” said Maka.

“I wouldn’t worry about that at all,” said Nana with a grin.

“Good,” said Maka.

They spent the rest of the night talking about their new lives and futures all the way into the mourning. Nana had finally remembered she said she would go to bed early and convinced Maka the same. When she laid down it was 3’oclock. She was not looking forward to later in the morning at all.
