"YO, FIREFLY! I'M BACK!" Ichigo shouted as he walked up to them. (AN: perfect timining! ^_^)
"Ichi!" Renji shouted as he ran up to him and started crying on him. Ichigo looked at him confused.
"What's wrong, Red?" Ichigo asked Renji worriedly while laying his head on top of Renji's and rubbing his hand on his back in circles.
"Byakuya...he...he...kissed me..." He sobbed. Ichigo glared at Byakuya, who glared right back.
"What the fuck is he talking about?!" Ichigo yelled at Byakuya, pissed. Byakuya smirked.
"He's my fiance, why shouldn't I be able to kiss him?" Byakuya asked in amusement when Ichigo looked at Renji in horror and confusion.
"Ren...what is he talking about?"
"..."

"I'll tell you what he's talking about." Byakuya stated, causing Ichigo's glare to turn to him. "Before you came, Renji and I became engaged. We even had a party to celebrate it. Did we not Renji?"
"..." Renji bit his lip and looked down when Ichigo turned and glared at him.
"WHAT?! YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT YOU FU-CKING ENGAGED!" Ichigo shouted at Renji as he grabbed his shoulders. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU AGREE TO DATE ME THEN?!"
"Be...because..."
"BECAUSE WHAT?! WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU BREAK OFF THE F-CKING ENGAGEMENT! DO YOU STILL WANT TO BE ENGAGED TO THAT ASSHOLE!? ANSWER ME!" Ichigo shouted as he squeezed Renji's shoulders, causing him to wince in pain. Renji shook his head.
"BECAUSE I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU THE MOMENT...you defeated me..." Renji said. "I...I thought that it was assumed that he and I were no longer together when...when...he left me...I don't care for him anymore...Ichi..."
"..." Ichigo just stared at Renji as if trying to decide something.
"It matters not." Byakuya told Renji and Ichigo. "I had my reasons and now I want him back."
"He's not an object!" Ichigo told Byakuya with a growl, then smirked as he pulled Renji closer to him. "Besides...if he was, he's mine!"
"You wish to challenge me for him then?" Byakuya stated as he stepped towards them.
"I won't challenge for what's already mine." Ichigo told him with a smirk on his face. "Besides, last time I checked...you and me were 0 and 1...right?"
"Such cockiness won't get you anywhere." Byakuya told Ichigo with a slight frown on his face. "It will not be me, you're battling...it will be the counsel..."
"Counsel?" Ichigo asked as he looked at Renji confused.
"..."
"You see...we both signed an agreement that we were to be married." Byakuya told Ichigo, who frowned.
"That can't be right! You have to marry another noble or someone of royal blood!" Ichigo told Byakuya, who smirked at him.
"...ah, yes...Well, you see. Renji IS of royal blood." Byakuya told Ichigo. Ichigo and Renji gasped in surprise. "Renji is the lost heir to the Tashimi royal family. We had discovered this while he was in training. He had gotten damaged during training and had to be healed...and the guess what we saw...He bares the royal family seal on his back. We would have returned him, however...there was some trouble brewing between Renji's family and our establishment. It was thought that he was discovered or someone told he was here...there would be an outbreak of war. It matter not if we had returned him...it only mattered that we had him. It would break our treaty that we had signed with them...It seems that they were already looking for a loop hole...So we decided to keep him here and treat him as one of us..."
"...I...I have family...I'm of royal blood...Ichi...?"
"..." Ichigo looked at a deadly pale Renji.
"I'm gonna faint now." Renji told him, then fainted. Ichigo caught him and picked him up bridal style. He glared at a smirking Byakuya.
"Do you see why the counsel will agree to let me marry him and bind him to me?" Byakuya asked.
"It doesn't matter about royal blood!" Ichigo growled at him.
"...Oh, but it does...It will compeletly bind together our establishment and his family. The treaty will truly complete...Do you not think that they will consider this...?"
"No..." Ichigo shook his head as he looked at Renji a little doutfully. "They...they won't agree..."
"We shall see..."
