Shunsui and Ukitake were long gone from the battles by the door. The three in the team were sprinting quickly through the Heuco Mundo making there way through the empty lands. The heat was unbearable and they could feel sweat getting to them by the second. Nanao stopped and pushed her glasses up, she looked both ways to see no one in sight. Were they going the right direction?





Shunsui looked back at her " You ok, Nanao?" He asked worridly.She was silent, she looked forward and nodded her head. She was bothered by the fact that Risa was alive. She liked Shunsui, she just didn't know how to admit it. But now that Risa was alive...she hated to admit it but, her chance was ruined.





Shunsui looked to Ukitake and smiled warmly, the two kept going through the desert area and made way cautiously.





Aizen watched as the teams continued through the deserted area. He was angry at the fact Grimmjow betrayed him,but he couldn't say much about it. He betrayed the soul society, it would be dumb to mention anger with the issue. He looked to Ulquiorra and motioned him to come close to him.





" I need you to dispatch the other espada, we will destroy them and once we are done here we are heading out to the Soul Society." He stated with a smile.





Ulquiorra turned to leave but was pulled back to Aizen. His wrist was grasped tightly and pulled down. Ulquiorra's eyes widened " Sir?"





" You are to kill Grimmjow. Is this clear?" He asked.





"...I do not wish to fight other espada."





"IS this clear?"





"..."





"Ulquiorra, I know what is going on between the two of you. This is why I request you to do it." He smiled.





" Lord Aizen, I will dispatch the others..but." He flash stepped away from Aizen " I will not kill Grimmjow." He said turning away.





" If you do not do as I say, I will kill her." He spat.





"her..." He asked confused.





"Orihime."





"I do not care for the woman." He said turning away and leaving.





Aizen was surprised he was positive the fourth espada had feelings for the girl. He laughed at himself. " Those two are the only men who have defied me and lived, Ulquiorra will come around to the order. He is not one to not listen." He smiled.

Grimmjow looked over to the blonde soul reaper and watched how he fought. He definitely knew how to battle, he was actually surprised. He had felt a huge wave of grief from the frail looking man. Gin sure was toying with the kid, and Grimmjow noticed it. He leapt back as Gin slashed at the espada. He rarely saw the foxes sword unsheathed, normally it was only for an instant.





Gin dashed forward and spoke " I am ending this," He used his shunpo to dart quickly over to the blonde " Sorry Kira-kun you are just to weak to beat me to ma knees." He laughed pushing his sword forward. His attack was blocked by Hisagi's quick movements.





"Bakudo 62! 100 stepped rails!" Poles flung from Hisagi's hands towards the ex-captain. One just in time blocked his attempt to attack Izuru. Izuru glared forward at his old captain. He gritted his teeth and reacted quickly, he jumped forward on the poles in front of him. He flash-stepped forward and swung hard at the fox like man.Gin couldn't believe it, Izuru swung at him.





Izuru swung again with his sword and yelled " Gin!"





Gin tried to dodge the lieutenant as fast as he could, but was hit once. He felt the weight of his sword add up. Gin opened his eyes and glared at the man in front of him.





" You will lower your head to me, Gin. Just as I lowered mine to you. You will-







"Oh but'cha liked lowering your head fer me" He grinned





Izuru glared at him and lifted his blade again. Gin hopped back and tried lifting his sword once more. Grimmjow dashed forward in lightning speed " What's wrong Gin, looking a little tired." He yelled scratching upwards, slicing his clothes into pieces. Gin glared at the teal haired man and shouted " Shinsou." The blade extended quickly towards Grimmjow. His cat like reflexes helped him dodge the blade. Gin didn't expect him to hop softly on top of his blade. Grimmjow ran on the slender blade towards Gin. Gin's expression changed from determined to surprised. He went to return the blade but was hit by Grimmjow's kick to the face. Gin fell backwards, landing hard on his back.





Izuru watched in aw at the strong man before him. Izuru shook the look from his face and dashed quickly towards Gin. What was he doing, what was he going to do...kill his old captain. Doubts and thoughts ran through his mind. He flash-stepped to Gin's body and lifted his sword. Grimmjow looked into the blondes eye and saw the look of anger, hate and so much more. So much emotion in one look. Izuru slammed his sword downwards, Gin disappeared and was instantly behind Izuru. " Thought'cha had me." He smiled and was surprised when a slicing feeling was felt through the back of his shoulder. He yelped and went to hop back. But was held in place by something hard.





Gin was trapped by Wabiske " you...I never had you..."Izuru yelled tears rolling down his face. He pulled upwards slicing Gins neck and shoulder. In almost super speed Izuru spun around and kicked him down to the ground. Gin coughed up blood and sat up. He used his sword to lift himself up. Gin looked up to see Izuru above him.





" I...I love you...I cannot say I hate you when I love you so much."





"You love me." Gin asked without a smile.





"But I know there is no point to loving you," He stomped him down to the ground. Gin was losing blood and fast. He stepped to Gin's side and placed the Wabiske under his old captains neck. " Gin...goodbye."He went to pull upwards when a bright light distracted him. He flash stepped away quickly and looked back to see a pale espada staring back at him. He had sad looking eyes, Grimmjow interrupted his thoughts " Oy Ulquiorra he is not the enemy" He scoffed.





Ulquiorra turned to the teal haired man " He is the enemy." Ulquiorra unsheathed his sword and was getting ready to slash the blonde when grimmjow blocked it with his sword. Ulquiorra looked up to the teal haired man and glared " Move.I have orders."





"Fuck off." Grimmjow spat.





"...I was told to kill you." Ulquiorra said closing his eyes.





"..." Grimmjow looked away heavy lidded.





Ulquiorra lowered his blade " I don't want to." He said. " But I have to. What is this I am feeling...its not pain...but it feels like pain." Ulquiorra said looking into Grimmjow's eyes.





Grimmjow's eyes widened " Bastard." He jumped away. Grimmjow had never felt so betrayed in his life. Why was he bothered by this so much, it was a go fig that Ulquiorra would come after him but why was he so upset about it. Flashbacks of the nights before went through his brain, Ulquiorra's heavy moans and pleas for more. Grimmjow looked up to the emerald eyes that approached him. He cracked his knuckles and thought of a way to avoid killing him. A green cero was tossed his way, Grimmjow dodged it and landed gently on his feet. Ulquiorra closed his eyes " Grimmjow make this easy." He stated.





"Keh, easy?! Why the fuck would I do that?" He asked charging the other Espada. Ulquiorra's eyes widened. He dodged Grimmjow's attempts and stepped back.





" I am afraid now is the end." He said flash-stepping over to Grimmjow and pointing his finger at his chest.





Grimmjow looked up to Ulquiorra and smiled warmly " You going to kill me eh?"





"..."





The Cero formed and he was about to fire it when something inside of him pulled at him not to. He wanted to, he wanted to follow this order. He bit his lip and made a closed fist, the green cero disappeared. Grimmjow closed his eyes. " What are you doing anyway." The pale espada asked.





"Rebelling." He laughed.





"...where will you go after this."





"Hopefully I will figure it out when it comes." Grimmjow laughed.





"...You better know what you are doing." He stated facing Gin and the blonde.





Grimmjow couldn't help but smile, he never thought he would say it but he was glad to have the quatro espada on his side.

Izuru looked back to Gin who was now standing. He smiled his normal and laughed " You actually had me scared there for a moment. I thought ya had me." He smirked.





Izuru was officially done for,he had his chance and now it was to late. He lifted his sword and was readying himself for battle when Gin was behind him in second.





"I thought you made it interest'n that is for damn sure Kira-kun. But I have to say, you have not changed a bit." He laughed piercing through Izuru's skin " Bye-bye." He laughed jumping away towards Ulquiorra." And you! I can suppose you are rebelling as well?" He laughed landing his flash step.





Ulquiorra turned away from him and looked away. Gin smiled " You two are predictible." Gin laughed looking up to Izuru falling forward.

'This is it, I am down. God dammit, I had him so close...he was in my reach. For one moment I saw him eye to eye. For one moment he was...bowing his head at me...but...god the light around me is dimming. Fuck...captain...Ichimaru..." Izuru fell closing his eyes.

Hisagi shouted but Izuru couldn't hear anything. Izuru was done, he had fought hard and well. Hisagi quickly moved over to him and looked up to Gin " He looked up to you! You are a monster." He said glaring at the man before him.





Grimmjow looked over to Gin and laughed " Keh, you just realized that!" He shouted turning away from Gin.





"Where are you going?" Ulquiorra asked.





" I have a fight to do."





"With whom?"





" Ichigo." He laughed disappearing instantly.





Hisagi was about to fight Gin when someone came between them.He wasn't ready for this, he couldn't battle him alone.





"Shuheii Hisagi, its been a long time." Aizen laughed.





"Oh you came to my rescue lord Aizen." Gin laughed.





Hisagi took Izuru's body and dashed back a bit farther. " What are you doing Ulquiorra?" Aizen asked looking into his eyes.





Ulquiorra turned away "I see nothing for me in this battle." He said turning away and also disappearing in a flash-step. Aizen smiled " Looks like we have some rebels." He smirked " What are we going to do Gin."





"Well...I am going to take back my pet over there while I can." He laughed.





"...Nnoitra looks as though he is being beaten...by a kid. Hmph, how ironic."Aizen laughed.

Toshiro and Rangiku had both fought a hard battle and Nnoitra was finally down on one knee. He could barely stand and when the presence of Aizen came close he knew the battle had to come to an end. Toshiro did the final blow and sent Nnoitra to leave and mend his wounds. Toshiro turned to face Aizen and Gin.





" Matsumoto, you should leave. Go back through the tunnel now." he spat.





"But Captai-





"Go!" Toshiro shouted.





Rangiku flash stepped through the portal and escaped easily. She was scared, why was she leaving him alone back there. He was not going to return. She should go back, she should fight with him. But her wounds were reminding her that, that was not possible. If she fought any more for a while she could die. She looked back at the portal. Tessai was on the other side, he welcomed her home and put another barrier up. People with certain spiritual pressure were only allowed in and out.





"Please come back captain.Please" She begged looking back through the tunnel.

Gin looked at the small captain and was surprised at how fast he was. Rangiku hadn't noticed but Gin had tried to attack her with his sword.Luckily Toshiro was fast and good at long range battle. He let out a sigh as the Ice fell apart holding the Zanpaktou. Gin laughed at the small captain.





"I can't believe you even made it this far Toshiro." Aizen smiled.





"Is it that surprising that I care about my subordinates." He spat.





"Oh she is more than that. Anyone with eyes could see that." Aizen laughed.





"..."





"Is Momo still down for the battle?" Aizen smirked.





"Aizen!" He yelled throwing a shard of Ice at the man.





Aizen dodged it but was surprised when he a presence of some sort came closer. Aizen looked back and quickly dodged the attackers attempts.





"So you found your lieutenant I hope?" The masked figure asked.





"Yeah you better have, Shinigami." A masked Female spat.





" Shinji and all of your dead friends have arrived eh?" Aizen laughed.





'That's Shinji, but he's a hollow. How can that be, he is a hollow? Is this that special power Urahara spoke of?' Toshiro thought





"Hey kid how about you leave eh?" Shinji spoke





" I can't leave half of my-





"Go find them and leave." Hiyori spat.





"But you guys-





"We have it covered." Shinji spoke pulling off his mask. The others did the same and readied themselves."Get them and get out of here."





Toshiro quickly flash stepped past Gin " Good luck at going back to the soul society." He laughed. Toshiro hurried to Izuru and Hisagi " Get through the door now, hurry." He shouted. Hisagi nodded and hurried with Izuru's limp body through the tunnel. Gin smiled " Until next time Izuru." He laughed watching the two leave. Toshiro hurried through the barren place. Why did Shinji make it sound urgent. He had the empty feeling in his stomach.





He quickly caught up with Shunsui's team. He spoke of what was happening and they understood and left for the doorway, Urahara's was found next. Urahara knew what was happening.





"Aizen is closing the door, we will never be able to leave if we do not hurry back. Ichigo and Kenpachi are still out there. Toshiro we need to hurry."





"Go back the three of you. It is my fault you are all here...please..."





"Toshiro, as a master of flash step I think me and Soi Fon could find them faster than you think.So take Kisuke and leave, we will be there shortly." Yoruichi smiled.





"Yoruichi I don-





"Now now Toshiro, when a lady says she has it under control. Chances are she has it under control." Kisuke laughed grabbing the captain by his arm and dashing away.





Toshiro couldn't believe it Kisuke was leaving the two by themselves to find the others in the barren lands. He seemed to know Yoruichi's strength so he let it go.

Ichigo, Byakuya and Renji all were getting closer to the castle that was supposidly where Aizen was. Ichigo felt another Espada interrupt them, he landed in front of the three. " Oy Ichigo, its been a long time. Hasn't it?' He laughed cracking his knuckles.





"Grimmjow. I thought you would come around sooner or later." he scoffed.





" Well you thought right." Grimmjow went to punch Ichigo when Byakuya stopped the two " Scatter." He stated sending his petals all over.





Grimmjow looked at the pink shimmering lights that darted past Ichigo towards him. Grimmjow was surprised at how much the black haired man could control. He glared and let out a ear piercing roar. " Your a dead man Ichi- " A hand covered the blue haired man it was pale and feminine looking.





"Aizen is trapping them in. What are we going to do." The man asked.





Grimmjow pulled away and looked back " Ulquiorra what the fuck!!" He yelled.





"What did you say?"Renji asked.





Ulquiorra looked at the man and closed his eyes " We are coming with you to your world.Ichigo." Ulquiorra spoke calmly.





"WHAT!? Why the hell would I let you do that!" Ichigo yelled





"Why the fuck would we do that!" Grimmjow yelled





"We fought Gin, we are not following Aizen's orders any longer. Take us with you the door to your world is closing." Ulquiorra demanded.





Yoruichi landed softly next to Ichigo. " Ichigo, we need to leave now." Yoruichi said looking to the espada.





"Oy take us with you." Grimmjow glared





"You want me to take you with me but you glare at me like your going to kill me!" He yelled excitedly.





Byakuya turned to Renji" Let's leave" He said turning on his heel.





"Allow me." Ulquiorra pulled out a small device. " Aizen gave it to us, its to teleport anywhere we please in Heuco Mundo." Ulquiorra spoke used the device and before Ichigo or Grimmjow could hesitate they were in front of the Vizards.

Shinji was left out of all the others, there bodies sprawled out everywhere. Aizen turned and spoke slowly " You are nothing but puppets to me. Now die" He raised his sword in the air when two blades blocked his. Aizen smiled " You two are always in sync. Its been a long time hasn't it Yoruichi." Aizen smiled.





"Don't you dare smile at me you scum." She retorted.





"Scum? I thought you to be a lady." Aizen exclaimed.





Ichigo helped Shinji up and got him through the portal. Shinji tried pushing him away but couldn't at his strength. Ichigo jumped back through and put Hiyori through as well. Yoruichi spoke to Aizen once more " I should kill you right now. But I am in a bit of a hurry." She flash stepped away with Soi Fon. She took one other Vizard and hopped through, Soi Fon did the same. The tunnel was closing quickly Ulquiorra stepped through. Grimmjow looked back into Aizen's eyes.





"So you are leaving and joining there side? You think they will accept you?" Aizen laughed.





" Its to fucking bad I don't have time to chit chat but I am not on their side. I am on my side." He laughed jumping though the closing portal.





" Are we going to stop them?" Tousen asked appearing behind Gin and Aizen.





" We can't or we be stuck in between the two worlds"





"Oh well. Looks as though we didn't win this battle."Aizen smirked leaving it at that.

Toshiro looked up at the many comrades that jumped through. He was perfectly relieved until Ulquiorra jumped through. Toshiro lifted his sword " You!" He shouted pointing it.





Ichigo stepped in " No no! He is not going to fight neither is-





"Keh what the fuck you all staring at?" Grimmjow asked.





Toshiro sheathed his sword and looked to the others " Everyone's here right?" he asked worriedly





" Everyone is back safely...well semi-safe." Urahara turned to the Vizards.





" They are all still alive." Shinji stated pushing himself up.





Matsumoto came in the room where they all were at the time " you two came back with us?" she asked surprised.



"We couldn't really rebel and stay." Grimmjow stated.



"you know these two?" Toshiro asked nervously.



" They helped me out a lot." She said looking away.



" Well...thank you both of-



"Yeah yeah. Save it." He paused and looked to Ichigo "Shall we finis-



"Thank you for your hospitality." Ulquiorra said covering his mouth. Grimmjow scrambled for his hand which covered the sexta espada's mouth.



Ichigo laughed " You two are strange. But yeah sure. Uh...we need to figure out...what the hell we are to do now."



Toshiro turned and agreed " I think he is right. First off is everyone in good health." He asked.



"Lets wait a while for Izuru to come to. Then we should speak of plans. For now, I think we need to rest. where is the Espada's staying?" Kisuke asked.



Ichigo looked at Grimmjow " If you don't kill me you can stay with me. I have an extra room in my house you both can stay in." He stated.



"Fine. I can tolerate you, but don-



"That is fine." Ulquiorra stated again over Grimmjow.



The groups spread out and were now going to rest for the next couple of days until everyone was in good health. For now everything was at a calm and hopefully would be for a while. Yoruichi shut the door as they all left and looked to Kisuke. " We live quiet the eventful life don't we?" She laughed.



"I'd say so myself." Kisuke smiled.
