Friends In Low Places

I have yet to see a song fic for Bleach here on AFF. So while listening to my song list, I came across this song and thought, this was perfect. So enjoy.

"How stupid does she think she is? We know her stupid power signature. We could track her. Imagine her, not inviting us to her fancy and uppity doodle of a idiot wedding. That's alright, I'll show her."


Rukia looked up as Orihime ran over. "Rukia, we have a problem. We'll more like four or five problems but we have problems, baddddddddd problems.", the girl rambled on and on about a problem.

"What do you mean, Orihime? Is something wrong."


"Something's wrong alright.", Ichigo growled while looking towards the stage.

Renji was standing there, clearly drunk off his butt. To his left, Ikkaku from the Eleventh Division, along with their captain, stood there, both almost as drunk as the redhead. Renji tapped his finger against the mike and then smiled, real big.


"WELL SEEING HOW MISS I'M TOO GOOD FOR HER FRIENDS TO INVITE THEM TO HER OWN WEDDING, FORGOT TO INVITE US, WE INVITED OURSELVES AND NOW FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT AND FOR YOU MISS GOODY TWO SHOES, WE ARE GONNA SING!", Renji yelled out not needing the mike.


Blame it all on my roots

Ichigo buried his head in his hands, not believing that Rukia didn't invite Renji and also not believing that Renji was singing in front of all these people. He found himself thanking whatever god was listening that Renji was in a gigai.


Well, I guess I was wrong

Renji just chuckled and kept singing.

He held up his glass of sake,as if to make a point.

By this time Ikkaku, Kenpachi, Kisuke and Byakuya, along with the rest of the room had joined in the song.

Renji finally staggered off the stage and slapped Ichigo hard on the back. "Well buddy. You got her, now can you keep her? You do know she wonders right? Hell, cheated on me four times when we were dating. I wish you luck."

And with that Renji passed out on the floor, still humming the song. Byakuya looked down shaking his head. "I'll take care of him, Ichigo. Again, I wish you the best with her."
